Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

While I still eat regular wheat pasta, I make and serve Banza pasta regularly too. It is slightly different but a good way to add more protein to your diet. I haven't tried the pizza but plan to soon.

I love their take on chickpea but most products are highly processed and I love the taste of whole chickpea more. I'd rather enjoy and indulge in regular carbs that tastes more wholesome than highly process food even if they try to make it look more healthy.
always have banza pasta stocked up in my pantry. I love the chickpea pasta so much! Its so much healthier and better for you, so worth it!
I've only tried the pasta, and I would not do so again
Their pasta cooks very quickly and gets mushy easily.

I would definitely keep an eye on the pasta when you make it checking it frequently to make sure it doesn't get mushy, I learned to cook it a lot less than the instructions.
I think Banza's concept is amazing, but it falls a little short in the taste area. As the brand has been around for multiple years now, I would expect more improvements in their recipes, but I've personally not noticed much change from their initial releases to now. I like the plain pasta the best, but the mac and cheese is alright in a pinch.

Their pricing is super reasonable, and definitely worth purchasing their products if you're curious to see what they're all about. If not, you're not missing out on much. I could see this being a great brand for families with young children.

Pasta is pretty good for a substitute of the real thing . Their low calories, and huge bump in protein and fiber are unmatched.
I really like this pasta! As someone who is always struggling to get more protein in my diet, this is a really good alternative to regular pasta. I think it tastes the same and is always the right amount of chewy. It can be pricey but often goes on sale or has coupons.
I've only had the pasta shells and they're pretty good! They're a great way to get your protein in for the day and don't taste like cardboard like some of the other brands. It's definitely not "real" pasta, but its a good compromise!

I like the vegan Mac but there are better options. Recently tried the margarehita pizza and it was really tasty, the crust is more on the doughy-side so easy to bite into. I really enjoyed it.

Mac and cheese taste isn't the best out there.

I've only ever tried Banza's pasta--the texture's not bad. If anything, it's impressive that chickpeas can taste that much like pasta. However, if you're expecting the mouthfeel of freshly made pasta, this won't be your jam. Ultimately, this boils down to whether you value the increased protein and fiber enough for the texture tradeoff. Because I do, I'm a fan of Banza.
I eat a lot of Banza, I'm really happy to see that the noodles have snuck into Costco. And their pizza crust *hearteyes*. We have Banza pizza crust in our household once a week. So, so yummy.

New products, maybe?!

The mac n cheese. 11/10. I am gluten free and have tried many gluten free pasta brands ... this pasta is almost identical to normal pasta consistency. Not grainy and does not fall apart (unless you overcook it). Aside from the texture, the taste is amazing. Better than Kraft and Annie's in my opinion. I also feel healthier when I eat this, so that's a plus :)

Kraft people understand when I say the shapes taste different... so maybe some fun-shaped pasta?
So cool! So easy! So tasty! Love having banza as a feel good alternative. Tastes basically the same as regular pasta. Highly recommend!
I use Banza noodles, and they're great! Clean ingredients with nothing unnecessary added.
By far the best pasta alternative I've tried that will hold up and you don't have to worry about it turning it mush.
I appreciate an opportunity to get protein and fiber, but the texture of this makes it clear that it is definitely NOT PASTA. And it's difficult to get the sauce to adhere - the Banza cooking water does not have the same magic properties as pasta cooking water and so can't be leveraged to get the sauce situation right.
It’s a pretty good pasta if you want to hit your protein goals. Almost has like a whole west pasta flavor. I do wish they used organic chickpeas but other than that it’s great.
Great alternative to mass-made grain based pasta. My favorite shape by them that also holds sauce very well is cavatappi. However there are other lentil based pastas that have higher fiber and protein. If you're looking to buy high quality dry grain based pasta, look for organic grain, die-cut, slow-dried.
I recently tried Banza and wasn't impressed. The chickpea-based pasta has a noticeable aftertaste that I found off-putting. While it's a healthy alternative, the flavor just didn't work for me. If you're sensitive to aftertastes, you might want to skip this one.
