  • I was pleasantly surprised by this product line. When I tried the pasta and pizza for the first time, I was skeptical. However, I found they had excellent taste quality. I honestly would not have known they were made from chickpeas if I were served them. I greatly appreciate the health aspect.

  • Banza almost makes perfect gluten-free pasta. The pea protein flavor does come through and the pasta sadly gets mushy easily when being boiled on the stove. I wanted to like this product but I do think alternatives are better in every way.

  • I like the brand overall and love their innovation over the years into new product categories. I also think they’ve definitely improved the pasta texture. I recently tried the cheddar Mac and cheese and really liked it! For chickpea pasta it has a great texture and taste. The ingredients and macros are good too. It didn’t stay creamy for long though, I think I prefer other brands for healthier mac and cheese but I’ll definitely be trying some of their other products soon!

  • I have been eating banza pasta for a few years. I am gluten free and also try to make sure I incorporate protein into all my meals. My favorite ways to use are to make a cheese sauce and add it to the pasta noodles and I make a pizza at least once a week.

  • LOVE the Banza protein rice. For me— I love using in in place of orzo in orzo skillet recipes. It’s great for extra protein and doesn’t have any weird texture or flavor like a lot of other protein products do! Definitely will be purchasing it again. Though I will say it does come with a bit of a price tag (I believe mine was $4.99 vs $1-$3 pasta) but I look to get it when it’s on sale so the price is a bit more reasonable:)

  • As a gluten free girly who needs her protein, and someone who looks for quality ingredients, I eat this multiple times a week! Took me a little bit to get used to the texture but my pantry is always stocked with Banza! My fav is pasta salad. Yum!

  • Will stand with this brand for life! Great variety of products, the macros are amazing & everything I’ve tried so far, tastes great. Make sure to stir noodles consistently to keep them from sticking together & you’ll need to rinse the film before adding sauce, etc. but no complaints! The pizza is bomb, add some chicken or turkey bacon on top and voila, the best supreme pizza!

  • I enjoyed the Banza penne pasta. It was a delicious meal and blended well with sauce. It’s gluten free and made from chickpeas but it still cooks well and tastes good. I try to avoid gluten as much as possible so buying Banza products makes sense to me. I will continue to keep buying them and I’ll try different varieties.

  • I think this pasta is okay. I like that they are providing a protein alternative, but unless you can't have typical protein pastas for an allergy or other reasons, I am not sure I would reccomend Banza.

  • I’ve tried a lot of protein pastas and Banza is a great one. The texture isn’t weird and I don’t experience any weird after taste.

  • Literally so gross. I want to love this because I am a sucker for packaging, and their packaging hits it out of the ballpark, but damn, the taste makes you want to wash your mouth out with soap. Overall, if you're gluten-free, look elsewhere.

  • Great alternative to mass-made grain based pasta. My favorite shape by them that also holds sauce very well is cavatappi. However there are other lentil based pastas that have higher fiber and protein. If you're looking to buy high quality dry grain based pasta, look for organic grain, die-cut, slow-dried.

  • These were a tasty pasta alternative and my kids ate it without noticing a difference

  • Honestly could not even tell this pasta was made from chickpeas. I love the fact that it has more protein than any other pasta on the market. The only downside side is that it does cost more than regular pasta.

  • I wanted to love their protein pasta because the nutrition facts look great. However, it has a weird texture that is gummy and gritty. I'd rather skip the protein pasta and just add other sources of protein to my meal.

  • Banza has reimagined pasta by swapping traditional wheat for chickpeas, creating a high-protein, gluten-free alternative that's surprisingly satisfying. Whether you're looking for a healthier pasta option or simply trying to add more plant-based protein to your meals, Banza stands out in a crowded market. Compared to traditional pasta, Banza offers about twice the protein, three times the fiber, and significantly fewer net carbs. It's a smart choice for anyone following a higher-protein, lower-carb, gluten-free, or plant-based diet. Plus, the ingredients list is clean and simple: primarily chickpeas, tapioca, pea protein, and xanthan gum.

  • I’m a big fan of healthier pasta options, and Banda is one of my favorites when it comes to taste and texture. The protein content is what really impressed me. I actually prefer this over traditional pasta.

  • I’ve tried different brands of pasta that are higher in protein and use beans to incorporate fiber and protein but Banza in particular I do not like. You can clearly tell it is not regular pasta. The taste is so off putting to me even a sauce cannot make it taste good. Other bean pastas do have a slightly flavor or consistency difference but nothing too bad. I just do not like this brand I’m sorry not a fan.

  • I appreciate the high protein of this pasta due to it being made from chickpeas. However, I wish the cooked texture was a little closer to that of traditional pasta. I found this pasta couldn’t replicate the al dente texture I love.
