I was successfully "influenced" and just spent $35 on a bottle of white truffle hot sauce. I've never sighed so hard while using tap to pay. Honest take--it's a little too sweet for me. It's not overwhelmingly sugary, but I just don't love sweet hot sauces. The truffle taste is definitely there, which is absolutely wonderful and the saving grace of this product. However, I probably wouldn't buy it again even if it was cheaper. With that said, you best bet I'm going to make this last and I'll happily savor every last drop in this bottle. It looks pretty in my fridge and I will be getting my money's worth.
Resting Beach Face is so good! I absolutely dread putting on separate sunscreens and moisturizers because they always end up pilling each other off. However, this suncreen-serum is literally a godsend. It hydrates my (oily) skin so that I'm not over-moisturized, and provides handy dandy SPF while we're at it. Gold.
SALT & STONE
I picked up the Salt + Stone stick sunscreen because a friend recommended it to me. I love it, it's made applying sunscreen so much easier and efficient.
Gosh, I have to say I didn't believe the hype about this stuff. I had friends that would chug Liquid IV down like there's no tomorrow before a night out. So, call me curious when I woke up hungover and they were all... fine? Okay, time to put this one to the test. And so, you'd believe my surprise when in the next instance, I also woke up... just fine. Aside from the obvious hangover remedy though, it's a great sports drink and it encourages me to drink more water. I'm a fan all around.
This is my first mattress-in-a-box experience and honestly, it was more comfortable than my last clunky Serta mattress. I've really enjoyed the feel of this mattress so far and its packaging made for an easy setup. If you're on the fence about this because you've only ever gone the "traditional" mattress route, I'd say this is totally comparable, if not better, than your average mattress.
I love Miyoko's for all my creamy cooking purposes. I can't tell the difference between their butter and actual butter! Not only that, but I love using their cheese wheels for various pasta sauces. In my experience, it's the best "dairy" that I can find most grocery stores.
Lazy Food Co.
I'm a herbivorous human who also avidly strength trains, so reaching my protein goals for the day can be a struggle without protein shakes a-plenty. However, Lazy Food Co.'s high protein pastas make my day-to-day planning so much easier. The ingredients are simple, and I don't have to worry that I'm eating yet another nutrient-deficient instant meal. This is different. ...And it tastes awesome.
I wasn't expecting much when I tried both the chocolate chip and birthday cake flavors, but boy was I mistaken. Today is the day a prepackaged cookie completely blew me away. I couldn't believe how soft these cookies were! Normally, whenever I read "soft-baked" on a prepackaged cookie, it's usually soft with a rather chalky taste. However, I didn't get that from Toto's at all. These were almost fall-apart soft, which is precisely my preferred texture. The flavor was great, too. It's a healthy cookie that doesn't necessarily taste healthy. If for whatever reason I can't bake cookies myself and need store-bought ones, these are the ones for me.
I would like to see Toto come out with an actual protein cookie, rather than a cookie that has slightly more than average protein. I would definitely be a repeat buyer in that case. Also, there was a cooling sensation after eating these. I don't mind it, nor do I know what it's from, but it's there.
Love it, love it, love it. It's so hard for me to find high quality tropical fruit in California, and most of the stuff I find in local grocery stores are just bad quality. But alas, Miami Fruit provides treasure chests for the hopeless and forlorn tropical fruit lover (that's me). The small variety box is $97, but every single piece of fruit was great quality. Although I griped at the price at the beginning, it was all worth it by the time I had feasted. Keep an eye out for their promos! They have worthwhile sales and even free supplemental boxes sometimes.
I fell in love with the Masoor Daal and will 100% be buying it as a pantry staple. Even beyond just the fact that it's a super simple meal--the ingredients are incredibly simple. That's always a plus for me.
