Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

  • I'm health conscious and always look for clean ingredients and better for you options. Banza pasta surprisingly tastes delicious but has only 2 ingredients: brown rice and chickpea. The texture is just right not too hard or chewy. I like that it's gluten-free. I received it for free in exchange for my honest oopinion

  • I love this pasta, it’s good. Tastes like Annie’s but without the gluten and with much more protein. It doesn’t have a super chickpea taste to the pasta, it just tastes like a heartier grained noodle.

  • Love their pasta. My favorite shape is shells. I don’t love some other shapes because they tend to fall apart. It’s really important to rinse the noodles after cooking, but if you remember to do that then they taste great

  • Banza is a great alternative to traditional pasta — high in protein, gluten-free, and surprisingly tasty. I expected a strong chickpea flavor, but it’s really mild and pairs perfectly with sauces. My kids didn’t even notice the difference! Banza is now a staple in our pantry. Love that I can make a healthier choice without sacrificing taste or dealing with complaints.
