Liquid I.V. earns strong reviews for fast, noticeable hydration—especially after workouts, travel, heat, and hangovers—while convenient single-serve packets and broad flavor variety (Lemon Lime, Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Watermelon, Golden Cherry) stand out. However, many reviews flag overly sweet, sometimes salty flavors, a “thick” mouthfeel, undissolved grit, and high sugar/sodium; some prefer diluting with more water or the newer sugar‑free line, and a few question ingredient “cleanliness” or effectiveness versus competitors.

I absolutely live on Liquid I.V.s, especially with my on-the-go lifestyle and constant traveling. These hydration multipliers are a game-changer, providing a quick and effective way to stay hydrated. The convenience of the packets makes them easy to carry and use anywhere. The variety of flavors is great, with Passion Fruit being my personal favorite. They actually taste good while delivering essential electrolytes and vitamins. Whether I’m flying, hitting the gym, or just need a pick-me-up, Liquid I.V. keeps me feeling refreshed and energized. Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable hydration on the move.
Liquid IV lemon lime is my favorite way to get my electrolytes in. The packets are so convent I pack them in my bag when I travel and drink after tough workouts to replenish myself. It mixes well with water and does not clump up.

I hate the flavors and how sweet it is, but god damn does it help with hydration and electrolyte imbalances. Hoping they can one day make it flavorless so my water doesn't taste like soda everyday.
Love all the flavors, great for workouts, hangovers, and when feeling under the weather. We have a box at the hand of one of the flavors at all times.
pretty easy to get electrolytes, most flavors are tasty like passionfruit, some are a bit off like watermelon
Tastes wonderful but I don't like the sugar alternative used.
Love how it works, wish the flavors varied a bit
The original rehydration drink. Lots of flavors, but still quite sugary. They recently came out with no-added sugar versions. Very portable, but does generate non-recyclable trash. My favorite is lemon, as well green apple kombucha which delivers probiotics.
I’ve found Liquid IV to be quite sweet, but it’s a great go to when I haven’t thought ahead and need to grab electrolytes from Whole Foods!

Liquid IV is one of my favorite tasting hydration drinks, probably because it's one of the only ones with real sugar in it. It's a little expensive for what it is though and sometimes you don't always want sugar in your drink
I tried the immunity pack. The flavor is a little bit stronger than Emergen-c & I honestly couldn't tell a difference in how I felt.
In a pinch only - prefer other brands as I find the available range to taste very chemically. I think there are better options but if this is the only option - for sure pick it up.
I use liquid IV at least 10 times a month. The flavors are absolutely amazing and heads above the other hydration multipliers on the market. The passion fruit is definitely the best, Concord grape is next in line.

Too sweet for me
Gross. This is an absolute NO. There is so much sugar in this product, don't be fooled!
I hate to admit that this works, but time and time again I feel like it's saved me. I'll slug this down after a night out and definitely feel like it curbs the next day hangover. Also makes drinking water easier since it's tastes pretty good. Knocking off a star since it's pretty expensive for essentially being sugar and salt in a packet but hey if it works it works
Used to purchase regularly, have switched over the LMNT after comparing the ingredients.
I have an outdoor job, which means some days I’m in 100°+ weather for 10 hours straight. It’s hard to keep hydrated when you’re melting into your neoprene waders with not a shade tree in sight. I heard about Liquid IV on a podcast ad, and got some to try. They’re really effective, and I don’t have to pack gallons of water in order to replenish my hydration while in the field. The electrolytes are a huge plus too, since I’m typically sweating buckets! I definitely notice that I don’t fatigue as quickly or get dry mouth if I’m sipping on Liquid IV while I work. It’s also clutch after a night of drinking— I pour one pouch into a tall glass of water, drink it before bed, and wake up feeling right as rain. The flavors are great too.

It works very well, and often a go-to for hangover prevention. Some flavors are better than others. My favorite flavor is the guava, strawberry, and the watermelon. I graded it "okay" because it's chock full of sugar, which is too bad.

Would love to see a formula with lower sugar content.
Meh. Tried to take to avoid earth shattering hangovers on a bachelorette. Spread out to all ladies. Common consensus was : still feel like death… perhaps a wee bit less than we would have otherwise. Gatorade is cheaper
