  • These chocolates offer an incredible range of flavors, and they're the perfect addition to any meal as a delightful dessert. I've had the pleasure of trying every single flavor they've released so far, and I must say, my favorite is the Lavender Rose. It's simply divine!

  • the yummiest chocolate bars ever! It's almost brownie-like texture and just tastes amazing! Plus side is that its all-natural and no other sugar than honey!

  • get the lavender flavor ($4.50) and try not to eat the whole thing in one siting! i dare you.

  • Absolutely yes. I saw these in the drink section at Erewhon and just had to try them. They are addictively good and taste like any other chocolate on the market (without all the unnecessary ingredients). The Peruvian Raw is by far the best!

  • I am a big fan of sweets so I was quite interested in trying out something from Honey Mama's, especially the limited edition Pumpkin Spice flavor, but I think this bar was not quite up my alley. The bars came in a huge box, and I did not have the best first impression when that big box was opened and all that was inside was four tiny bars. I know this is likely because it needed to have the dry ice, but it felt almost excessive just how much extra packaging was required for these bars that are not even five inches long. Unboxing the bars themselves was a totally different experience because that was a lot of fun. I loved how there were messages on each flap of the bar's packaging. The wrapper for the bar itself was also attractive since it seems to be some sort of wax paper instead of the usual tin foil used for other candy bars. These bars are packed with so many good ingredients. For example, the pumpkin spice flavor has pumpkin seeds, honey, cinnamon, and clove. And if you are a big fan of these ingredients, I do believe you will like this flavor. However, for me as someone that doesn't really like anything spiced (pumpkin spice or apple cider), this combination was a bit of a miss for me. But that's not really a fault of Honey Mama's since it tastes basically as you would expect. And you definitely need to keep these refrigerated- I had one sitting out for a bit on a pretty hot day and it became an oily mess! And I need to note that on the final bar I opened, on the bottom was a lime green-looking paste. I might have to contact Honey Mama's to see if that's normal because of the pumpkin seeds or something else. The top of the bar still tasted the same as the others but the bars have not yet reached their expiration date so this was a bit weird to see. While I think this bar is perfect for more adventurous treat lovers, I think I will stick to treats that are more suited to me (aka milk chocolate). However, I would still be interested in trying out this brand's other flavors! In particular Chocolate Cake and Lavender Rose seem most to my liking, and I love the variety of flavors there are.

    Decrease packaging size if possible.

  • I tried the Pumpkin Spice bar. The flavor is rich bordering on decadent. It tastes very close to biting into a pumpkin pie. I love pumpkin pie so that's a bonus for me. If you're not into pumpkin, then maybe this isn't the flavor for you. It's a dense bar and a serving size is only a third of the bar. So, you're not eating much if you're living by the label.

The packaging for shipping is a little over the top. But you can buy it in Target and likely other stores, so if you're interested in trying it, that's the way to do it.

  • I'm not a chocolate bar person--let's start there. However, if I were to buy chocolate, count on it being Honey Mama's. This brand stared me down upon every trip to Whole Foods until I finally caved and tried their coffee flavor. Sooooo good, super rich. One bar will last me a week if I break off a piece everyday. It's in between a chocolate bar and truffle texture, so you should definitely keep it refrigerated. You know those people that try to tout the health benefits of chocolate? Yeah. Chocolate is a dessert before anything, but if health benefits are a nice secondary thing, try Honey Mama's.

  • these are so delicious and it's actually so crazy that the bars are superfoods! the variety of flavors is really impressive as well, coffee nib crunch is my favorite! 10/10 packaging and branding as well. just such a good vibe all around. these are really rich and soften quickly so I would advise against buying the multi-serve packs unless you're sharing.

Received a free product from Honey Mama's
  • I tried the Birthday Cake version. I wasn't sure what to expect from a refrigerated bar but was blown away by the texture and taste.

    Keep them flavors coming!

  • I tried the chocolate cake one and it was delicious! I also had the carrot cake which was not as good. These are healthy dessert options that taste great!

  • I have a love hate relationship with Honey Mamas. I used to absolutely obsess over these when I was visiting family in the states, then I ate a few too many and got kind of sick of them. I think i need them in moderation. I tend to prefer the chocolate-ey ones over other flavours. I did also try a smaller skinnier variant recently in a chocolate flavour that was SO good, but then I had a cinnamon flavoured one that was pretty bad. Hit or miss for me, but they are good quality and a unique product, and I'll still buy them from time to time.

  • OMG I love honey mama's. All the flavors are phenomenal, but I am partial to the lavender rose. This is my treat of choice when it's that time of the month, it feels so nourishing to have a treat made with healthy whole foods and sweetened with honey.

  • I LOVE these. They are absolutely delicious - I keep them in the fridge for a little dessert and they are so good as a treat. Very rich/intense flavor that melts in your mouth - perfect if you love dark chocolate. They are a bit expensive, but I keep coming back so definitely worth it in my opinion.

  • Really unique, delicious chocolate! The overall texture is not as smooth as a generic chocolate bar, which I happen to really enjoy, but something to note when purchasing. I would also say these tend to be a little less on the sweet side, but with plenty of flavor!

  • This is the best chocolate ever!! I have several dietary restrictions, and I eat it frequently with no problems. Literally the best treat.

  • I REALLYYYY Loved the lavender chocolate that I tried. Great texture, yummy flavor. Tastes just like a true truffle bar. I was so excited about the birthday flavor and it just didn't really hit for me - I felt like I could really taste the dates and other natural ingredients.... I guess par for the course. But the people I was with - who I gifted these to, really liked that flavor! So overall - high rating - excited to try others! Nice healthy desert alternative!

  • I like that this brand has simple ingredients. I've tried their Coffee Nib Crunch and it was pretty tasty and clean. Good for those who like darker chocolates.

  • Tried the Honey Mama's Original Dutch and ended up throwing half away, the taste was just not for me.

I thought it was too sweet and tasted too much coconut for my taste – I'm usually not a fan of coconut so maybe this shouldn't have come as a surprise. I think others could like it more but it was not a fit for me.

  • The whole family enjoyed the flavor... once you get it out of your head that the texture and mouth-feel should be like a chocolate bar. It is not... it's a honey-bar that barely keeps its form at room temperature. Best to keep it refrigerated until eating as such! But it's delicious once you adjust your mindset a bit...

Feels like more of a honey bar than a truffle bar...
