jack and annie's
Experience
Bought these as an easy dinner for my kids. They said they were horrible, but they have no taste. So, I gave them a try. The texture was off. It felt dense and mealy which is a strange combo. And, the flavor reminded me a bit of canned refried beans (???) which wasn't terrible but not what I expected. If you're looking for a good plant-based nugget, I would say there are other options that are a lot more tasty.
Feedback
I think if the texture issue is the biggest thing holding these back from being a hit.
McConnell's Fine Ice Creams
Experience
McConnell's is my absolute favorite spot to get a sundae. Their ice cream is rich and the flavors are super yummy. Not overly sweet and doesn't feel like the it's chemical-y or artificial. They also have a wide range of tastes. Definitely worth the money.
Moleskine
Experience
I've been using Moleskine for years. I used to keep one in my bag for journaling my *very important* thoughts. And, now I always buy an annual planner to keep track of all my stuff. There's just something about writing things down that keeps it lodged in my brain and crossing things off the list really gets my synapses firing. Anyway - the paper doesn't smudge and doesn't easily tear. The bindings hold up after a lot of abuse. And, the look of them is just simple and classic. Love them!

No notes. Perfect as-is. Like me. Jk jk jk

The Pizza Cupcake
Experience
Grabbed these on a Thingdrop thinking they would be a fun snack for entertaining. They definitely did not have a pizza look to them, so when I served them to my Bunco group (I swear I'm not an old lady) I really had to explain the concept several times. They were not a hit. The dough was too pastry-like and was incongruous with the expectation of a pizza-ish experience. Some people felt like the dough was just too sweet. Maybe if you are someone that is really into deep-dish you might like these.
Feedback
Maybe boost the savory flavor in the dough a bit. Something about the combo of tastes just felt a little unmatched. The vibes were off.

Ruggable
Experience
I got tired of looking at my raggedy kitchen floor and decided to try a Ruggable rug in the space and it has been perfect. It washes easily and stays in place well. For the cost, it has held up well against A LOT of abuse. Definitely a great buy for high traffic areas.
Feedback
It's a little hard to get it back on it's little grippy mat, but with a little patience and deep breathing you can get it on pretty well.
Paro
Experience
Loved how easy it was to make this daal. It had a little spicy hit to it and the texture was nice. I added a little Salvadoran cream to it (I didn't have any plain yogurt) and it really balanced the flavors nicely.
Feedback
The only thing I didn't love was the slight floral notes to the flavor but that's totally just my personal preference. Other people might love that!

Omsom
Experience
I've been wanting to try Omsom forever but was a little hesitant to take the leap on ordering it online. But, I happened to be in Target looking for something completely different and saw it on the shelf. So you know I did a little impulse buy. I grabbed the miso salmon glaze because I needed something to change up my dinner rotation. It was super flavorful and easy to use.
Feedback
I liked the glaze and thought the flavor was great but I didn't feel like it stood out head and shoulders above other glazes you might buy. I think the brand probably really shines with some of its other variations.

TexTale
Experience
First impression: there was an insane amount of packaging for a t-shirt. It's not going to break, why all the boxes, tubes, plastic??? I bought this shirt for my husband and he's not in love with the fit. It's a little long in the sleeves and body but the girth (I know that's not the right word for this, but just stay with me) fit well. And, my husband is not a weird shaped person. I swear. The material is thick so while it feels nice now, not sure how comfy it will be in summer. My husband spilled some spaghetti sauce on the shirt and it came out without any special rinsing or treatment. No grease or redness remained. So, if stain resistance is a big thing for you, then this is the shirt.
Feedback
I think maybe a lighter material if that's possible might be nice. And, definitely bring down the amount of packaging involved. You can shove it in a bag and send it on its way and I swear it will be fine. Also, shipping time was SUPER SLOW.
Futurewise
Experience
My initial thought was this was just going to be some kind of Gen Z vaseline, but it exceeded my expectations. The feel is smooth and creamy without any greasiness. It lays on the skin weightlessly. Like, you do not feel it once it's on. And, I've also used it as a little highlighter during the day. It definitely adds a little glow but will crease on your eyelids. Overall, I def liked the slugging balm.
Feedback
I do like like this balm, but if you don't want to spend the money, you can get the same effect from a petroleum jelly. But, the texture and feel is much nicer. You can see the difference in texture in my pic below. Futurewise has a feel that's in between a coconut oil and shea butter.

The Ordinary
Experience
For the price, these products cannot be beat. I've used serums and concealers from their line and none of them have disappointed. And, at the price point, it feels totally reasonable to experiment and really branch out into new products.
Feedback
I love the range of options and the quality of the products they offer.
