Honey Mama's exists to bring delight to the world through nourishing your body, mind, and spirit. Founder Christy Goldsby wanted to promote wellness and vitality through blissfully indulgent treats, thus the creation of the refrigerated Truffle Bar. Combining organic raw honey, coconut oil, cocoa powder and other whole food ingredients created the most decadent melt-in-your-mouth fudge-like treats without the gluten, dairy, refined sugar or preservatives.

Oh my God I was so happy the year I discovered these. If you eat clean, non-dairy no processed sugar, no gluten, no"natural flavors", this is for you. It's delicious every single flavor I've had by them. I love that they sweeten their product with dates, the lavender bars delicious and they also have cacao on most of their ingredient list. I'm a chocolate lover and this usually lasts me 2 days because it's so rich and dense and satiating yes you don't feel bloated and gross after.

I love the unique varieties offered. Especially the dark chocolate lavender! I keep my dark chocolate in the refrigerator so Honey Mamas refrigeration requirement doesn’t phase me. Delightfully not overly sweet. Just let it melt in your mouth and enjoy the dark lavender experience. 

I really wanted to love this product but unfortunately I did not like the taste. Additionally, with its high calorie content I did not feel like it was a great snack/dessert.

Well, I like packaging and it taste good. But a bit too expensive. I like the ingredients and it wasn’t too sweet. A lot of flavors too. 

I really enjoyed Honey Mama's. I love brand packaging and the way it folds open like a more expensive bar of chocolate would. The consistency is a little chewier than a regular bar of chocolate but I didn't mind it. 

Coffee nib Crunch is my go to! I love coffee and this the perfect blend in a bar! It’s not too rich, just right. If I need a little more caffeine pick me up this a definite must on day three of 3 twelve hour shifts in a row! 

Honey Mama’s Salted Almond treat is absolutely amazing! The combination of rich raw honey, creamy coconut oil, and crunchy almonds creates a perfectly balanced, indulgent snack. Packaging - appreciated the dry ice so that the bars didn't melt, but I could have fit 50 of these 4-pack boxes in the shipping box the product arrived in. I almost thought there had been a mistake and the company accidentally shipped 10 boxes before opening it and realizing they used a 13x14x13 shipping box and two huge blocks of dry ice for a 3x4x3 product. 

I just got the Pumpkin Spice flavor through Thingtesting's Thindrop. The taste of the bar is really great, though I wouldn't say it tastes like a chocolate bar. Loved the ingredients and would definitely try another flavor. One thing to note (which I'll expand on in the improvement section) is that the box the bars arrived in is comically huge and I'm positive there's a better way for them to ship their product. 

These are absolutely delicious. I was super skeptical at first because of the wasteful packaging. However, these are absolutely delicious. They are chocolate, pumpkin spice and not at all what I was expecting. I will absolutely be ordering more. 

The only deterrent on my end would be the refrigerated aspect of the product which made eating it a bit more messy than your regular chocolate bar and transport limiting, but that's a minor convenience I'm willing to trade for the ingredients and flavor inside. 

I'm always partial to anything pumpkin-flavored, and this bar did NOT disappoint. The packaging is just adorable, the blend of spices and cocoa lent the perfect balance of sweetness without going overboard, and the texture of the pumpkin seeds was a delightful touch to an otherwise smooth and silky profile. The perfect sweet treat for the fall season. 

The texture could be less sticky, and the bar could taste more like chocolate, or whatever it's supposed to taste like.  I just don't know when I would eat something like this. It is not sweet enough or "good tasting" enough to be a sweet treat, and not healthy or energy providing enough to be a workout snack.

I tried this through the Thingdrop program. I was really excited for a natural, healthy chocolate bar. However, I was disappointed by the sticky texture and the taste. It tasted like an early variation of a granola bar. It was not sweet and did not taste like chocolate, or anything really. It was supposed to be the pumpkin spice flavor. Even at the Thingdrop price, this was not worth it.

I received the product in a Big Box with dry ice.  There has to be a better way to package the item.  Also, I believe that you won't eat the whole bar right away.  There has to be a better way to keep the bar fresh.  Maybe some kind of zip lock on the top.  

I tested the Honey Mama's Pumpkin Spice.  I received the package fast.  The box had 4 individual bars.  I am a creamy milk chocolate kind of person but when I took a bite of this bar I just loved it.  It is dark cocoa with pumpkin spices and small flakes of coconut.  The flavors were so good together.  For a health bar I thought it was great especially this time of year!

The shipment itself was confusing and a tad wasteful. Yes, it was refrigerated. Bonus! But to send a package of dry ice that's lightly covered by thin, unsealed plastic is begging for a burn on someone's hands. It was also an enormous box filled with foam and other misc. materials to keep it cold. There has got to be a better way.

This won't be a repeat buy for me, unfortunately!

I keep thinking I may have gotten a different product because I found these bars to be saccharine-sweet. I couldn't eat it. The flavor profile is great and the chocolate is rich and thick. But it's not quite a chocolate bar. It's almost like a really thick, frozen, pureed granola bar. As an aside, I think the packaging of the chocolate bars itself is beautiful.

The packaging was silly, it came in a giant box. I respect that they sent with dry ice so that it arrived safely. It probably wouldn’t be as noticeable if there was more than one box in the order. 

Pretty tasty! I’d be interested in trying more flavors as I’m not a huge pumpkin spice fan (ordered through thingdrop). 

A great little sweet to keep on deck in the freezer. 

So far I have tried Honey Mama’s Carrot cake flavor, Lavender Rose, Chocolate Cake, Mint, and Birthday Cake. I have to say all these flavors taste absolutely amazing but my favorite one is still hands down the Lavender Rose. I’m a sucker for this flavor combination but it’s a hard combo to nail. Honey Mama NAILED it for me ❤️

I know that you get what you pay for, so the price point doesn't really bother me, but I do wish they were slightly less expensive.

I really wanted to share a picture of the actual bars, but I ate them too quickly....that should give you an idea of how delish they are.  I love everything about this brand, but most importantly, I love that I can have a delicious treat made from ingredients that make my body happy.  Easy to enjoy, easy to digest, and any time honey replaces sugar, and corn syrup- it's a big win!  

The only thing I didn't like was that it was not sustainably packaged. I was VERY disappointed to receive such a large shipping box (see photo) with such a small product in it. I would love Honey Mama's to find a way to ship more sustainably. 

I really love this brand. I tried the Pumpkin Spice Cocoa Truffle bar and it was delicious! I love that they only have five ingredients, and have no sugar, soy, eggs, dairy, gluten, or grains. I would definitely purchase it again and can't wait to see it in more grocery stores. 

To say I am obsessed with Honey Mama's coconut truffle bar would be an understatement. It's beyond delicious, and I simply can't get enough. If you love coconut, honey, and chocolate, I HIGHLY recommend.

The lavender rose is my absolute favorite. It's silky, rich and tastes like the south of France and the hills of Switzerland. I still can't believe there's no sugar in there.
