Cocokind earns mixed-to-positive reviews: the brand delivers gentle, non-irritating formulas that suit sensitive, acne‑prone skin—standouts include the Ceramide Barrier Serum, Oil to Milk Cleanser, Revitalizing Eye Cream, and mineral/“silk” SPFs—yet several reviewers report modest results and occasional pilling, white cast, odd scents, or textures. Reviews of Cocokind also praise its transparency, clean ingredients, and sustainability focus, while noting inconsistent efficacy across products and complaints about jar packaging, cracked lids, and some formulas feeling greasy or leaving residue.

BIG fan. I love what the company stands for: transparency, ethical production, and affordability. Their products are truly affordable (and now at Target!) and I've enjoyed trying the majority of them. My favorites: Glow Essence and the Texture Smoothing Cream.

Because these are more natural products, some of the moisturizers especially start separating and begin to smell unpleasantly. The Resurfacing Sleep Mask, for example, smelled so bad that my husband didn't want to get near me when I had it on.
Good for your face
weird smelling cleanser

I have the hair mask. It’s a good product but didn’t notice a huge difference in quality compared to others
I wanted to like these products but they felt sticky and not fully developed. I did not see any benefits and results
Love this stuff for being clean and quality without breaking the bank. I use their rosewater toner at night and love the smell and feel. I used to combine it with their chia repair oil before going to sleep but was very disappointed to find that it stained my bedding and any clothing I came in contact with.

I've tried their matcha moisturizer stick and raspberry toner. Love the toner but not so much the matcha stick. I'd say it's as good as your plain old coconut oil/ butter. I'd prefer a lighter texture moisturizer.
I only own their rose water tonic, which just contains rose and water but boy does it feel like a luxury. The glass packaging and the label design really seal the deal for me.

extend sustainable packaging to all products!
I like to use a Vitamin C serum in my daily routine because a typical Vitamin C serum makes my skin feel plump and glow-y. But, the cocokind Vitamin C serum makes my skin feel tight and dried out. I have to layer it with another facial oil in order to get the moisturized and youthful feel I'm after. Otherwise, the texture feels nice and I like that there isn't any fragrance to it.

I'd like a more emollient serum that boosts the moisture in my skin.
Love the brand's missing. They've got some really good products with great ingredients. My favourite so far are the Oil to milk clenser which is super gentle on the skin + the chia seed oil. The organic facial cleansing oil did break me out pretty bad, but I am not sure if I was using it right or if it was just my skin purge, but I stopped using it immediately. I'd love to try their SPF next.

I wish they were more easily accesible in canada. Shipping is quite high, so it's not worth ordering just 1 product at a time.
I really enjoy most of the cocokind products I've tried, notably the texture smoothing cream and rose water. They have some products that I would consider elevated basics—very nice formulas that do what they say but not the most sophisticated products. I think they're perfect for someone in their 20's or new to skincare. Their website also offers nice packaged discounts which is great for building a more cost-effective routine. The other positive thing to note is their commitment to transparency around packaging, costs, and ingredients, which I appreciate.
Nice stuff. Love the body lotion, self tanning creams.
I really like the aha jelly wash - it smells interesting, but my skin looked so glowy after. Just don't over use it since it is a chemical exfoliant. I've also tried the watermelon hemp oil which was too much for face/ neck so I used on my legs. Good price point and sustainable ingredients.
I've tried a couple cocokind products (from friend referrals) and have enjoyed the products I've tried (resurfacing sleep mask, mymatcha stick, all for one balm, chlorophyl mask) but my typical shopping habits for products like that (let's call it bonus self care - not a daily use) are purchase once, try something else next. The only product I've repeatedly purchased is mymatcha stick which is a lovely all over moisturizer that I primarily use as a lip balm.

Mymatcha formula can sometimes be a little chunky - not fully mixed and smooth.
I have tried a few items from cocokind as gifts or picked them up randomly at Whole Foods and Target. I love their standpoint on product development and their cheaper price point into clean beauty. I found a few things irritate my sensitive skin, but that is something different for everyone. I love how they also have stick moisturizer and other portable and convenient products to fit into your routine or on the go.

N/A - I haven't found any holy grails or a product I would repurchase again, but I do see myself trying more of their stuff to see if it has the same feel.

I tried their AHA jelly cleanser and it smelled horrible but did its job. I also tried their turmeric stick and it was a solid mask but was hard to cleanse. I didn't find any go-to products from them yet - they were all just okay / not must-haves tbh. My skin is sensitive, acne-prone, and combination. I love that the brand is affordable and transparent when it comes to its ESG strategy. I'm obsessed with the sustainability facts on their packaging.
Some products are great, others are not so much. Ultimately love the brand's mission and how sustainable the ingredients are that you put on your face, in theory, they should fight against breakouts. However, I've found their recovery balm to be just a bit too filled with moisture and can actually cause irritation. However, the face masks are to die for and a staple in my bathroom cabinet.
love that the ingredients in cocokind's products are natural & they are transparent with their processes. unfortunately some of them don't work for my skin, as i'm acne-prone. i do religiously use their watermelon hemp oil, which absorbs super nicely & doesn't break me out!

I am using the ceramide serum, and I do like it a lot. So far, it is been working great, and the packaging is also great.
