love that the ingredients in cocokind's products are natural & they are transparent with their processes. unfortunately some of them don't work for my skin, as i'm acne-prone. i do religiously use their watermelon hemp oil, which absorbs super nicely & doesn't break me out! 

My skin was raw, red, and angry after a horrible breakout. This recovery balm was amazing and helped my barrier heal. It’s gentle and feels like it’s coating my skin with a soothing layer that doesn’t feel heavy. It’s inexpensive and effective - a great value. The only con was that it crystallized before I even used it. I contacted the company, and they explained that it was common and happens because they don’t include harsh additives that normally prevent crystallization. They also offered me a solution to dissolve the product back into its optimum state, but it was bit of a hassle having to do it. Aside from this, it’s a great product!

I wanted to like these products but they felt sticky and not fully developed. I did not see any benefits and results 

As with all skincare, skincare is personal! Some products will work and some will not - but cocokind definitely formulates products that feel like they have a true place in the very, very saturated skincare market, and at price points that feel slightly high for drug store, but still, absolutely reasonable. 

Their barrier serum is one product I can absolutely recommend to anybody working through a damaged skin barrier or experiencing redness. Other products are much more focused on skin type and skin condition/concern. Being retailed at both Whole Foods and Target makes it a lot more accessible than just being an online brand. Not every single cocokind product has worked out for me, but I haven't regretted a purchase yet. Their customer service is also very strong.

I have the hair mask. It’s a good product but didn’t notice a huge difference in quality compared to others

Some products are great, others are not so much. Ultimately love the brand's mission and how sustainable the ingredients are that you put on your face, in theory, they should fight against breakouts. However, I've found their recovery balm to be just a bit too filled with moisture and can actually cause irritation. However, the face masks are to die for and a staple in my bathroom cabinet. 

I have been using the Ceramide Barrier Serum at night and sometimes in the morning before my makeup. The serum locks in moisture and I’ve noticed my complexion looks dewy after application. The bottle feels and looks high quality. I do wish there was a slit on the side so you could see how much product is left.
