Cocokind earns mixed-to-positive reviews: the brand delivers gentle, non-irritating formulas that suit sensitive, acne‑prone skin—standouts include the Ceramide Barrier Serum, Oil to Milk Cleanser, Revitalizing Eye Cream, and mineral/“silk” SPFs—yet several reviewers report modest results and occasional pilling, white cast, odd scents, or textures. Reviews of Cocokind also praise its transparency, clean ingredients, and sustainability focus, while noting inconsistent efficacy across products and complaints about jar packaging, cracked lids, and some formulas feeling greasy or leaving residue.

I love the turmeric mask stick! I love that it's plant-based and makes my skin feel so good!
Love the brand and numerous products i've tried. All do really well with my sensitive skin.

Many times products are sold out online.
I have used the cocokind daily SPF, chlorophyll mask, and oil to milk cleanser. The sunscreen was extremely greasy on my skin, and was not transfer proof. My make-up melted off my face when I tried to wear make-up over it, even when I let the sunscreen settle into my skin. The chlorophyll mask gave me a break out, and I tested to make sure it was the chlorophyll mask by using it three separate times without adding new products or changing my skincare routine. The oil to milk cleanser did get rid of make-up, but left a film that wouldn't come off even when I used two separate cleansers after using it. The only way I could get rid of it was with a washcloth, which I prefer to not use on my face as I have sensitive skin.

The formulations of all of the products I used. The consistency and the residue the products leave needs improvement.
My favorite suncreen. It isn't too thick and keeps my face protected.

Their sunscreen feels good on the skin without feeling too tacky. It is also very hydrating.
As someone like eczema, it is so hard to find products that don't break me out. Cocokind is sensitive skin friendly and has effective products. I have recently loved their new retinol body lotion. I also love their oat to milk cleanser. It is super gentle and leaves your skin super soft.
The products are a great, especially at their price point. I have used the eye cream for over a year and appreciate how rich it is. The company is also very transparent about the products and costs. The oil to milk cleanser is my least favorite, as I don’t feel it cleans my skin. Otherwise, no complaints!
The ceramide serum has been part of my routine for about a year now and it has been wonderful for my skin. Price point is good and the quality of the product is great. I also absolutely appreciate how transparent the company is and how clear they are with the ingredients used.

Good daily eye cream. Gentle and moisturizing.
I’ve only tried a few things. The powdered Ultra Chlorophyll Mask is mixed with water and then spread on your face with some difficulty. It’s really grainy and literally feels like something you could buy at a health store (which is the point, maybe?), but it would probably be cheaper to just buy chlorophyll powder and mix that with water. Not that I would. The tiny jar literally lasts forever. The mask itself is hard to wash off and kind of abrasive on the skin as you’re doing it. My skin doesn’t look particularly smooth or glowy after. The Matcha All Over Moisture Stick was fun at first. You can use on your lips or wherever you have dry patches. But if you have dry flaky lips, they’ll turn green if you put this on. I’m super careful when applying and making sure I don’t put too much and blend it out, so I don’t have Shrek lips. And then the stick itself. It has coconut oil, so if the weather fluctuates where you are, the coconut oil will melt and solidify, leaving you with a lumpy stick (kind of like if Shrek had warts). This is strictly my home lip balm because it’s too gross to whip out in public. A shame because it actually is moisturizing and costs lips for a long time. And I love matcha (though others may be turned off by the smell). Daily SPF mineral is just…I don’t think so honey. It’s everything you don’t want in an spf. Thick, white, pasty, difficult to spread, leaves a white cast, hard to blend out in your eyebrows. Just, no. I’m sure there are other great products in the brand. And I love that it’s an AAPI-owned brand. But I just haven’t had great experiences with what I’ve tried.
Cocokind's peptide serum is great! I also used the texture smoothing cream and it definitely has a bit of a celery smell to it, but it's a good lightweight moisturizer. The overnight resurfacing mask gets kind of messy when applying it.
I love coco kind's mission + packaging but in my experience the products don't work very well. I've tried almost everything from them and they almost always end up sitting on my shelf unfinished because I can't see a difference.
I'm a big fan of the cocokind oil to milk cleanser. It's super gentle on my skin and cleans my face beautifully. I appreciate knowing that cocokind products aren't going to make me break out or damage my skin.

I love that I can pick up cocokind at Target!
I was so excited to try their product but was severely underwhelmed. Their mymatcha all-over moisture stick smells just like matcha but does not moisturize anything - lips, dry spots, etc.
I really like the products available at target! Haven't tried as many, but I do like the ones I've tried out

Pricing, quality of packaging
Some products really worked for me, others sat in the back of my bathroom mirror because I had other products I reached for more. Sunscreen left a white cast no matter how hard I rubbed in, and texture smoothing cream made me really dry! Wanted to like the product but it didn't work on my skin.
Coco kind is one of my favorite brands. The products are clean and have refreshing scents. I particularly love the eye cream tube that has a metal end so it stays cold when you apply it to your eyes. It definitely helps brighten your under eyes!
I'm a big Target shopper and was curious about the brand after spotting it on the shelf. I did some research and after learning cocokind is an Asian, woman-owned brand I knew I had to try it. I have purchased a few of their products and all are gentle on my sensitive skin. I love the packaging and the affordable price-point. I look forward to trying other products in the future.
