Cocokind is a skincare brand appreciated for its effective products like the Ceramide Barrier Serum and Oil to Milk Cleanser that enhance skin texture and cleanliness. Many customers find the brand affordable and appreciate its transparency, especially regarding its natural ingredients. However, some products may not work for all skin types, and certain elements like the scent of the cleanser and the crystallization of the recovery balm were found to be disappointing. Some found the products to be sticky and unimpressive in terms of results.

I’ve been a long time user of Cocokind and they are one of the most transparent companies I am a consumer of. I love that about them. They deliver consistent products for a great price point as well. That said, their stock and supply does vary a bit if you get attached to a product 🥴

I love this brand and its products. I think they have high quality things at a good price and I really appreciate the thought in their skincare lines!

I have been using the Ceramide Barrier Serum at night and sometimes in the morning before my makeup. The serum locks in moisture and I’ve noticed my complexion looks dewy after application. The bottle feels and looks high quality. I do wish there was a slit on the side so you could see how much product is left.
I have tried many many cocokind products over the years and the only thing I’ve been super wowed by enough to repurchase is the one- for-all balm. It’s hydrating and really helps with any dry and scaly patches of skin. The cute tube makes it easy to use and keeps the product sanitary which is not always the case with salve packaging.
My skin was raw, red, and angry after a horrible breakout. This recovery balm was amazing and helped my barrier heal. It’s gentle and feels like it’s coating my skin with a soothing layer that doesn’t feel heavy. It’s inexpensive and effective - a great value. The only con was that it crystallized before I even used it. I contacted the company, and they explained that it was common and happens because they don’t include harsh additives that normally prevent crystallization. They also offered me a solution to dissolve the product back into its optimum state, but it was bit of a hassle having to do it. Aside from this, it’s a great product!
Bought four products to try and was unhappy with all: Scrubbing Clay Turmeric Tonic Sake Body Lotion One-for-All Balm I felt ambivalent about the Scrubbing Clay and Turmeric Tonic. The Scrubbing Clay was super effective (smoothed and soothed), but it left a film on my skin. Worse, it smells like a barista's trashcan. If you're picturing the blissful scent of fresh coffee, you can let that hope die right now. They advertise the scent truthfully when they say "upcycled coffee and chicory prebiotics" - yeah. Fermenting old coffee and rancid 'other' stuff. I genuinely dreaded using it, and hated every second it was in my body. The Turmeric Tonic is just confusing -- I don't know (even after dozens of uses) whether it works for blemishes. It definitely doesn't work on redness and recent acne marks (to calm or brighten). Colloidal Sulfur and gentle BHA serums work faster and better for sure. The Sake Body Lotion was my biggest disappointment. It sounded amazing on paper. However, it's simultaneously too greasy and too thin. It both fails to absorb and doesn't keep your skin comfortable throughout the day. Did not help my itchy eczema skin and encouraged a backne flare (probably the coconut itself and/or stearic acid). It smells neutral though. Super mild, subtly sweet with a hint of sake musk. The One-for-All Balm was also a hard no. It is *so very* greasy and very heavy. I imagined something more sophisticated and multipurpose, like Weleda's Skin Food (but without the scent). This could easily be called an ointment. I couldn't imagine using it on anything except *maybe* cuticles.

This brand has a great ethos and obviously great marketing. I would like to see their formulas become more sophisticated, a pleasure to use. They're doing innovative things with ingredients and sustainability, but it doesn't seem like most of their products are ready to go to market (ie, not well considered in texture, efficacy, sometimes packaging, etc.) I think there's an assumption here that a sustainably conscious consumer will tolerate 'raw' scent (even if off-putting); formulas that work 'well enough' or 'sometimes' (even if they're uncomfortable or don't last long); ingredients that are 'active' yet 'natural' (even if they can't even begin to compete with their better known alternatives); or, packaging that is useless but 'good for the planet'. With all the wonderful cruelty free and environmentally conscious options available today, those kinds of assumptions can't be taken for granted anymore.
CocoKind🤝me forever! Love coco kind especially their ceramide serum! I’ve gone through countless bottles of this serum! When my skin is stressed or reactive this serums helps restore my barrier and calm my irritation! I use these serum daily morning and night and love it! Also love their transparency!!!
And the skincare saga continues… I have seen cocokind EVERYWHERE! My friends talk about it, my boss talks about it, even my mom talks about it! So when my go-to moisturize was sold out I decided to bop over to Target and try out cocokind’s texture smoothing cream and matcha stick! I love the smoothing cream, it’s light and so gentle with a barely their scent. I’ve continued to buy it and incorporate the cream into my skincare regimen. As for the matcha stick, I use it as a chapstick and it feels nice. Not sure if it was totally worth it, but no regrets there. Team cocokind!
Cocokind is SO good. They are CLEAN and high quality ingredients. They are so real and share everything about their brand. How it’s made and why. The packaging is beautiful and I love the women behind cocokind! Their sea kale clay mask is by far my FAVORITE. Next up is the oil to milk cleanser and body scrub! Everything is wonderful and priced so good!

I would love to be able to purchase the scrub at target ;)
The mymatcha stick has been my go to for all around hydration. Put it on my lips, dry patches, under eyes, anywhere you think needs some good hydration.

Nothing, I can’t wait to try more of their products!
I bought the “best seller bundle” which came with everything to get me started on my skincare journey. It was under $100 too which is great! Cocokind is really good about telling you when and how to use the products too which was really helpful! I am turning 30 and have read that this is the time to really start a skincare routine to keep the skin lookin goood. I had super rosy cheeks (probably rosacea I got from my mama), and I have noticed that they aren’t as red anymore. I saw reviews about the smell but I really don’t think they have a strong scent. It’s very subtle. If you’re looking to begin your skincare journey I recommend trying Cocokind out!
Love love LOVE the Rose Water! I use it on my scalp after washing my hair and on my face after cleansing as a toner. It makes my skin and scalp feel hydrated and smell good! The matcha all-over stick and face masks are good but not very impressive.

My go to for this brand is the ceramide barrier repair serum. Whenever my skin barrier is damaged, I purchase this serum and it totally does the job in getting my skin back on track. I can clearly see a difference in my skin when I use it, I wish they made a bigger size!

Maybe the green pigment. I noticed it doesn’t dissolve on ur lips as other balms do. Ull have green lips if u put on a semi-thick layer.

I have acne prone skin and I immediately purchased the turmeric stick as soon as I saw the “how to use” tiktok. I have been very pleased with how this stick works with my skin. I am also loving the all for one balm and an excited to see how it works with winter worn skin.
Good for your face
weird smelling cleanser

I have the hair mask. It’s a good product but didn’t notice a huge difference in quality compared to others

I tried their AHA jelly cleanser and it smelled horrible but did its job. I also tried their turmeric stick and it was a solid mask but was hard to cleanse. I didn't find any go-to products from them yet - they were all just okay / not must-haves tbh. My skin is sensitive, acne-prone, and combination. I love that the brand is affordable and transparent when it comes to its ESG strategy. I'm obsessed with the sustainability facts on their packaging.

Some products are great, others are not so much. Ultimately love the brand's mission and how sustainable the ingredients are that you put on your face, in theory, they should fight against breakouts. However, I've found their recovery balm to be just a bit too filled with moisture and can actually cause irritation. However, the face masks are to die for and a staple in my bathroom cabinet.
