Wet Brush is highly appreciated for its ability to detangle hair without causing damage or pain, even for users with thick and curly hair types. The brand offers a range of different brushes, including ones specifically designed for use on wet hair or for distributing treatments evenly. Despite its effectiveness, some users reported hair loss and others found it less effective on dry hair, especially for those with thicker hair. Moreover, some users experienced issues with durability and sustainability, particularly relating to the plastic components of the brushes.

  • I really like to use the brush after going into the water at the beach and I like to use it in the shower. When I use it in the shower it leaves my hair feeling really soft and detangled. I received the brush as a gift and I do not think I would have purchased it myself.

  • Cannot live without my wet brush. I have one in the shower, in the bathroom cabinet, and at the desk where I do my makeup. I used to have the worst tangles in my hair - brushing daily with this thing is the only way I can keep my hair from getting all knotty. I bought mine at Walgreens - I'm actually pretty surprised they do ecommerce now!

  • The only brushes I will buy. I love wet brush but I do lose a lot of hair, I’ve always assumed my hair just falls out easily but might try another and compare results!

  • It’s okay, I don’t notice it really doing much for me especially as someone with curly hair, my hair gets knotted in the shower and this is not the best brush I have used, I like that there is no place for buildup and mold, the design is great but they could make it better!

  • I absolutely love this product - a cheap thrill and a game-changer. No more knots and breakage.

  • Hear health is of the utmost importance to me, especially having long, fine hair (and a lot of it). I was always hesitant to use a stronger brush on wet hair, given how delicate one's hair is while wet. I feel far more confident to use Wet Brush when my hair is wet, given just how gentle it is. I notice far less damage and hair in the brush. The bristles are much more fine, and the brushes last.

  • It always feels a bit "as seen on tv" but I do really like my wet brush! I'm always worried that it's bad to brush my hair right after a shower, but it's in the name so if it is bad at least it's endorsed!

  • Amazing for my fine hair when it's wet. I can't use a normal hair brush after this!

  • Super solid detangling hair brush. Works really well on waves/curly hair. I definitely have noticed less damage after using this brush for a while, plus brushing wet hair in general is just a lot less painful using this over other brushes.

  • Love Wet Brush! I'm constantly trying to style my wavy to curly hair after a shower, and it works great! It's super gently on my scalp and detangles my hair without tugging on it at all. I love it!

  • Utilizing these brushes makes it unecessary to spray detangler - that is how well these brushes work! I love my original so much that I ended up buying the mini to keep in my bag for on-the-go. Really saved my hair from knots and damage after getting out of the shower.

  • I have been using these hairbrushes for nearly a decade now and they are the only hairbrushes I have found that can detangle my hair with minimal pull and frizz. I would definitely recommend them, especially for people with curly or wavy hair!

  • I have knee-length hair, and this brush is the detangling queen, the anti-breakage champion, and lasts longer than any other brush I’ve ever owned. My only issue with them is the fact that they’re made of plastic. Besides being bad for the planet, plastic can generate static, so on days when I don’t need as much serious detangling power I do use a non-plastic brush. Still, as plastic brushes go these last a long time, so I still recommend them and rate them quite highly. And they’re becoming more widely available, which is a real plus.

  • I have a wet brush, and it works for when my hair is wet. However, I have thick hair so it is not very effective when I use it on dry hair. I also don’t think it will be helpful with curly/coily hair because the bristles are so thin. But my sister has thin hair and it works perfect for her with both wet and dry hair. I do love the tea tree oil-infused comb tho, although the teeth broke off when it fell.

  • Definitely the best hairbrush for my long, thick hair that gets fairly knotted up quickly, especially at the nape of my neck! It drastically reduced the pain when brushing out the huge knots and somehow gets them out faster than any other brush I’ve ever used! I also find the brush doesn’t break off my hair nearly as much as other brushes as the bristles are thinner and give way a bit easier than other paddle brushes. I recommend this to anyone!! I never thought I’d care so much about my hairbrush brand but I am never going back! I only use Wet Brushes now, and they are so so SO worth it!

  • The Wet Brush is one of my holy grail products. I've tried several different versions of it, and I love that they offer an eco-friendly version that is sustainable. I refuse to use any other type of brush; this one always gets the job done!

  • My tried and true. Been using wet brush for YEARS! It's the only way to go!

  • Wet brush just perfect for my curly hair routines days love how I can wrap it around the brush and get the perfect curls !!! And you can also pick from different colour which is always a plus

  • I love wet brush! My hair always ends up tangled out of the shower and growing up this could be a painful experience. Wet brush makes it easier and more comfortable to get the tangles and knots out. They are a good price and very effective.
