Palermo
Experience
I used to really covet Palermo's scrubs! The scents feel really rich and luxurious. The pink scrub in particular was my go-to, though they all smelled really good.
lumineux
Experience
I've used the toothpaste, the mouthwash, and the whitening strips and the mouthwash is the product I keep coming back to or reordering. I listened to the founder of this brand on a podcast talking about the correlation between alcohol and oral cancers and how using a mouthwash that's primarily alcohol based each day could likely have the same effect-- I'm paraphrasing and am obviously not a doctor, but it felt like a good point to me. I love that this mouthwash doesn't have the alcohol-y taste but still feels really effective and actually does see to whiten my teeth when I use it daily!
Feedback
I go through the mouthwash really quickly when I use it as regularly as recommended, so I'd love a bigger bottle.
Kinship Milk Tea
Experience
I am not an oat milk girlie (I try to steer clear of vegetable & seed oils most oat milk brands use to make their product "creamy") but I drank this entire bottle. It was delicious, perfect amount of sweetness.
Feedback
I hope you are so successful that you must rapidly expand outside of Texas and I get to drink Kinship every day in New York!

Hommey
Experience
I found this brand on Thingtesting!! I placed an order and I'm honestly so happy with it. It shipped from Australia but was actually extremely fast, I've had packages get to me in New York from California much slower than this came from Melbourne. The photography on the site is super clear and good home inspo and the quality and textures match the imagery exactly. It's super versatile. I'm impressed with the cushion inserts, they're way better than I expected. (I feel like most pillow inserts are kind of flat and crappy and pancake easily, but these hold their shape.) I don't need any more pillows at the moment, but if I ever do, I'll be returning to Hommey again!
Akua
Experience
I bought Akua on Instacart on sale, so I paid $3 for 2 burger patties instead of about $4.99 per patty. I don't know if I'd pay more for them than I did, but never saying never! The flavor is awesome and way better than expected. It tastes amazing, I'm not a vegetarian but I enjoy a veggie burger here and there and this had great savory flavor. It played well with traditional burger toppings.
Feedback
The patties were falling apart before I even removed them from the freezer bag packaging. They're SO delicate. I expected the frozen patty to at least retain its shape, even frozen for weeks it had the texture of Playdoh. That's how soft and malleable these are. I put these on a bun with lettuce, sprouts, red onion and condiments, and melted cheese on top of the patty and unfortunately it was impossible to eat like a normal burger. The whole thing crumbled and collapsed into itself despite having the buns and toppings to try to trap it together. It was delicious but messy. I was hoping we'd get a little more shape/it'd be easier to prepare. I was also a little surprised that when I opened the box there were only two tiny patties. A single one was definitely filling, so no complaints, but feels like the packaging size is a little misleading there. They don't include cooking instructions on the packaging, you have to scan a QR code. This is fine... but maybe not so inclusive for folks who want to eat less meat but aren't super smart phone savvy. When I did scan the QR code, it sent me to their product page where I was immediately pushed a pop up and they were trying to sell me 24 burgers for $120. Whoa. I didn't love that. I had to scroll a bit to try to find the instructions. I wish they'd just pushed me to a page specifically with instructions, I don't want to be upsold to spend $120 on veggie burgers I haven't even gotten to try yet and are falling apart in my hands as I frantically try to figure out whether I should heat them in the oven or on the stove. TLDR, I feel like there are some weird things about the experience but taste was great and I so love their mission!
Western Disco Society
Experience
I looooooove the roll on fragrance. It's such a unique smell. I tried it for the first time with a group of people and everyone unanimously was like "oh, this is fantastic"-- which I think is a near impossible experience for fragrance, which is so personal. I really do love this and will probably order it and the candle in the future. If you're curious, buy it! You won't regret it.

I would love a spray on! I have long hair and i like to be able to spritz it with a perfume when I feel fancy.
Paro
Experience
Branding was beautiful and I was excited and nervous about expanding my repertoire to something I wouldn't normally cook. Tarka: I have no idea how this buttery taste got packed into this tiny jar. I saw another review calling this spicy, I want to say that it is truly not spicy at all to me and if you have even a tiny sliver of tolerance for or interest in spice you will taste none of it here! It'd describe it more as herbaceous. I was expecting to not use up this whole jar or to know what to do with it but I've used it twice this week alone. Once on crispy potatoes and frizzled onions and once on a charred sweet potato. It'd be BOMB on popcorn. It really is a flavor bomb. Daal: Delicious. I see some reviewers saying to add less water, I added the recommended amount and cooked it for the recommended time and it was great. Shocking how flavorful this was, it really surprised me. I topped with lots of lemon juice and pickled onions (not necessary but I love acid) and some yogurt. I served it over potatoes with spinach and frizzled onions that I'd tossed in the tarka. It was delicious but honestly unnecessary. I was sure I'd need a side or a carb to serve this with and frankly it was really satisfying on its own. Haven't gotten a chance to make the kitchari yet but I will update when I do! I honestly see myself buying the daal and tarka again just to have on hand.
Feedback
It wasn't totally clear to me how to store the Tarka after opening. Fridge felt safest so I went with that, but I'd have loved if that was specified on the jar! I'd also have loved more advice on the site or in post purchase emails re: what to pair with the daal or the kitchari, recipe ideas, etc. It took me a week or two after buying to actually cook or try these and part of it was because I could have used a little more guidance/inspo!

Naadam
Experience
I really wanted to love this! I bought a sweater & pant set from them a few years ago that I love the look of, but the quality just wasn't totally there. I wore holes into it after only about 4 wears. (When you buy a cashmere sweatsuit, it ain't cheap! I needed it to last.) I reached out to customer care to see if there was anything they could do for me and they were not so nice. It was a hard no. So now I can only wear my hole-y expensive cashmere matching set alone in my house. I've thought about purchasing again but now that I know that the quality is hit or miss and the brand only really cares about taking my money and not about my experience I'm feeling like I can't actually pull the trigger.
Feedback
I'd definitely give Naadam a second try if I'd had a better experience with customer service! Feel like I could have been a loyal customer, visually I like a lot of their stuff but there are plenty of other brands in the space who could deliver similar products with a kinder customer experience.
Brooklinen
Experience
I'm typically more of a Parachute girl aesthetically and I hadn't purchased from Brooklinen in many many years until this week. I ordered a new set of their luxe sheets and was super impressed with how fast they came, the packaging, and after sleeping on them, the quality. I feel like this is what they do best, sheet sets in percale or cotton. I would have loved to buy a duvet cover from them because the customer experience was so great but there aren't any that truly match my vibe.
Feedback
I'd love more products that expand beyond solid colors/flat textures! Particularly for duvet covers!
