The Pizza Cupcake emerges from reviews as a clever, snackable twist that tastes better than most frozen pizza to many, driven by a flaky, buttery, croissant‑meets‑biscuit crust and gooey cheese, but it divides on flavor balance. Strengths include easy oven/air‑fryer prep and crowd‑pleasing novelty; consistent weaknesses are scant filling, overly sweet or flat sauce, occasional dryness/oil pooling, and uneven cook times, leaving several reviewers uninterested in repurchasing.

Air fryer instructions are wrong. at 6 minutes at 350 they were still frozen inside despite looking brown on the outside. very embarrassing for me upon serving these to friends. there’s also barely any sauce or cheese, you’re paying $10 for mostly dough. I would not purchase again.
I wished these were a little better. It tasted like a glorified pizza bagel or pizza roll. It had more bread on it compared to the cheese and sauce inside. I wouldn’t buy this again
Delicious! I love that the sizes are a bit larger which helps with portion control. Rather than cooking a whole box of pizza bites and telling myself I won't eat them all (I will), I can cook two-three pizza cupcakes and be satisfied.

I spotted these at Whole Foods when I was looking for a frozen pizza. I tried the Margherita Pizza Cupcake, which turned out great when following the oven cooking instructions. They taste better than most frozen pizzas, a lot "fresher" tasting, if that makes any sense. These make for a fun appetizer or snack.
I really like the texture of the crust, after I sprinkled it w Italian seasoning it was even better! Definitely recommend putting it in the air fryer!

Shipping packaging was well done and the pizza box packaging is cute. The cupcakes are delicious, crust is so tasty almost like a pilsbury crescent.
Feedback
Could of used more sauce and cheese relative to the amount of crust, but overall real tasty.

I read about these months ago and was so excited to try them. The thought of my 2 favorite things together was encouraging. I popped a few in the oven as soon as they arrived in very well-done packaging that considered the environment as well as dry ice to keep the pizza cupcakes cold. The pizza cupcakes cooked well, however, I am sad to report that I was very underwhelmed by the taste and flavor, in that there was not much. It seemed to lack garlic or basil, even salt. The packaging was beautiful and attractive, it just seems that my excitement was not met with a flavorful punch.

Perhaps the pepperoni variety will have more flavor than the margharita.

Theres nothing wrong with these at all. The pastry is soft, the cheese has excellent pull and tastes like a good, fresh mozzarella, but they're just...bland. Theyll get eaten, but I wouldn't repurchase.

Super tasty and great for kids! The dough is delicious and these can serve as a great snack or meal.

The price is outrageous though. $50 for 24. That is over $2 for a bit more than a bite or two of pizza.

I love pizza snacks and I thought this would be a great snack, especially a late night snack! The cheese is stringy and pepperonis were perfectly crunchy (there could be a few more pepperonis with each cupcake to get more bang for your buck). My favorite part is definitely the dough, which is very light and fluffy. I made mine in my air fryer which is a big plus as well!

It’s pretty pricey for what you ultimately get (wasn’t expecting it to cost $60 for two boxes). Excited to see additional types of pizzas, such as a sausage option.

I tested The Pizza Cupcake's pizza snacks and they were tasty but a bit expensive
I ordered them with little expectations. Oh my god, so good. Even my sister who doesn’t like cheese loves them. They almost taste like pizza croissants. Shipping was fast too which is always a plus. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.

I tried this a while ago. It wasn't much to write home about, and I was there were a dairy-free version.
Don't get me wrong, I love pizza in all formats but I was a bit underwhelmed. I tried the pepperoni flavor and each cupcake has one pepperoni, Italian mozzarella, and sauce. The cheese tastes gourmet but the sauce tastes like cheap frozen pizza. The actual dough is flaky like a crescent roll.
Feedback
For the price point, the sauce makes it taste a bit cheap.

These were edible but forgettable. I bought them because shark tank but honestly forgot about the brand until now. So boring and expensive for what you get.

I have to admit that I was basically expecting a Bagel Bite type situation, and was fortunately proven very wrong! The crust on these cupcakes is really the standout here. So flaky and light, not bready or cardboardy like you would get with a lot of other frozen pizza things. It's more similar to a pasty than a crust, which makes it take really decadent. I do think they're expensive for what they are, but definitely a fun novelty by yourself (me), or a knockout party addition (if these were brought out for drunchies I would lose my mind).

They are tasty! They are buttery flaky crusts filled with stringy melty cheese. They make a great late night snack and I think they could be good at a party. They’re like big, better bagel bites! They’re a bit on the expensive side and I didn’t find the cooking instructions to be super accurate, but they are easy to eyeball

Pleasantly surprised! The package arrived within 48 hours of purchase which was WILD! But we...we downed these within a week. Such a simple and easy snack, the cheese and sauce ratio was strong, the pastry was soft and crunchy.
Feedback
The only reason I don't give these a 5 is because, flavor wise, there's not much that's like...extraordinary about the sauce or pastry. Cheese is cheese. They felt like a more substantial pizza bagel...but I can get pizza bagels for cheaper. THAT BEING SAID...we're for sure restocking, haha

The hype behind these is confusing to me. I bought them at Whole Foods where they were $11 for 6. I made three of them as a snack and thought it was just ok. I would have liked more cheese and expected some unique seasoning blend and it was pretty bland in flavor. Out of curiosity, I looked up the cost online. To order them online, they’re $25 a piece…with an order minimum of 2 boxes. These are not worth $50!!! When I put in my address to estimate the cost of shipping, it was an additional $12. So I would say that if you’re curious to try these, they’re not worth ordering the website at all. They were at my local Whole Foods and I have read that they also sell them at Walmart.
Yeah... it's good. The cupcake part has the flakiness of a croissant, but the density of a biscuit and is overall really satisfying with paired with the melted mozz and marinara/pepperoni.
Feedback
The cheese pull is great, except for the 1/6 that had an entirely lopsided mozz.
The Pizza Cupcake earns a solid four-star rating from me. These delightful snacks pack all the robust flavor of a traditional pizza into a compact, cupcake-shaped form that's both innovative and convenient. Each bite bursts with a well-balanced blend of cheese, sauce, and dough, which was pleasantly surprising considering the size. The variety of flavors on offer is commendable, satisfying diverse taste buds and cravings. However, I deducted one star because the product can sometimes be a bit too oily, which might not appeal to everyone. Nonetheless, these little treats are perfect for parties, game nights, or a quick snack on the go. The ordering process was smooth, and the delivery was prompt, which added to the overall positive experience. If you're a pizza lover looking for a novel twist on a classic favorite, The Pizza Cupcake is definitely worth a try!
