After receiving the Slug Balm during thing drop, I decided to give the whole line a try. It was really easy to incorporate it into my regular routine. The packaging is super cute! After a couple of weeks, my skin feels more moisturized and supple. Slug Boost has a really nice fine mist. I’ll be honest, I don’t really understand toners but I use them. This feels good as the first step of my skin care routine and as a refresher later in the day. Slug Cream is watery and light. It’s not my favorite moisturizer, but I will definitely get use out of it. Slug Balm is my favorite product of the line. It’s thick but doesn’t feel too goopy on you face. I feel like it fully sets in by the morning. I like using it as a lip balm in the morning as a lip balm
The Pizza Cupcake
They are tasty! They are buttery flaky crusts filled with stringy melty cheese. They make a great late night snack and I think they could be good at a party. They’re like big, better bagel bites! They’re a bit on the expensive side and I didn’t find the cooking instructions to be super accurate, but they are easy to eyeball
I really enjoyed these! I’m not a huge fan of energy drinks, but these aren’t overly sweet. The green team flavor really shines through, which is great. The peach and watermelon were really good, the berry was a touch cough syrupy. The packaging was so cute, with mini disco balls, but pretty wasteful. Hopefully this was just a part of the sampler kit and not every time you order.
I’ve thought about buying these in the past, but was always caught up in the price point. I was stoked to get them during the ThingDrop. They are pretty cool! I have a couple that live in my bag to hold meds. Their unique shape makes them really easy to find and I like that they stick together. They hold a decent amount of advil and the shape inside makes it easy to get all lotion or whatever inside out. They probably hold about a day or two of face or body wash. They can’t hold enough shampoo/conditioner for my thick hair.
I don’t know if they are worth the price, but if you are willing to pay it, they are really handy!
The mini puzzles were really cute! I gifted them to my mom (an avid puzzler) for the holidays. She finished them quickly, but liked the unique shape. The packaging was fun and I like that it included a story to go along with the design of the puzzle. I’d be interested to try a larger, more complex puzzle for Le Puzz
I bought the croissant candle (amazing scent, bready, but not overly sweet) The scent is powerful and long lasting. I am a candle person and always have one burning, but usually can’t smell them unless I leave room and come back. I can smell this candle from the other room. So far the burn is even and slow. An expensive treat but we’ll worth it.
A little in the expensive side, but they make a really great cup of coffee! I love having them in the office to make a quick americano or iced coffee. I prefer them to nespresso for my morning coffee. Changing subscriptions is super easy and I love that it’s curated for me, so I get to try new roasts/blends without any thought in my part!
Hot hot hot! A flavorless little bit of heat for any cocktail. Love the dropper to customize how hot you want it. We tried a bit on its own before adding to a cocktail and were impressed by how unexpectedly spicy it was.
The cold brew is so good! Smooth and chocolatey. Not at all acidic. Love that it’s ready to drink right out of the container, no mixing with water/figuring out the right proportions
It you like coconut water, this is great and refreshing! I’m not a huge fan of coconut water and there is no hiding the taste
