So look: it's good quality extra virgin olive oil. It's no better or no worse than the good stuff you can buy in the supermarket. But the innovation is in the delivery. Drizzle some on a hot pan, and you too will feel like a badass tiktok-famous chef. Seriously - it's nuts how much fun the right bottle shape can be

Finding a pillow is really tough. I want one that's firm and thick (control yourselves) but not so thick it gives me a crick in my neck (seriously, get it together). My old favorite pillow is no longer being made and was starting to give out, so I was nervous. Happily, this pillow from Marlow (and the accompanying protector) has been great. I keep it zipped all around, it holds its shape overnight, I'm sleeping great, and no neck pain.

I love Muji. I wish I could live he Muji lifestyle. All of my office supplies (pens, notebooks, etc.) are Muji. The prices are great and the quality is high. I used to have one by my office and it was a great source of snacks as well. I bet the stores in Japan are amazing. Sadly, the rest of my family doesn't share the love by they tolerate me.

    Birchbox

I was a Birchbox Men subscriber for a few years. I found a few good products through it and it was the source of most of my travel toiletries. But then my partner pointed out that (a) it's a lot of wasted packaging for stuff I don't really need and (b) I'm not traveling anymore. So I canceled my subscription and don't feel sed.

I have two teen girls so we go through a lot of pimple patches. These seemed to work great and they were not unhappy! But they also didn't ask me to purchase them special unless they were on sale.

The packaging was lovely but at the end of the day it felt like, and worked like, the sunscreen I buy in the supermarket.

Maybe these work great. Maybe they don't. What they do have is a bunch of caffeine - 100mg per dose. That's about as much as a cup of coffee. Since I've quit caffeine (it's been 9 months!) I don't want to try anything that could get me re-addicted. I'd love to test a caffeine-free version.

These are great. A fun party game for grownups. Warning: don't let your young kids discover them. Additional warning: don't let your teens rediscover them 10 years later. 😳

I have lactose intollerance and this was a great alternative to Lactaid (I'm not on a FODMAP diet). The product worked, it didn't impact taste, and worked really well when a pill wouldn't make sense (like ice cream). And the packaging it came in was so nice my kids fought over who could play with it. Seriously.

    Fungies

I have three bottles of Fungies mushrooms on my desk (which I got from the Thingdrop). They're delicious and I need to remind myself that they aren't candy. They sure taste like candy (but with a slight, not-unpleasant musky odor). Here's the problem - they don't seem to do anything for me. I shouldn't have been surprised - I'd tried other fungus-based adaptogenic nutraceuticals before. I've tried coffees, tisanes, pills...and they didn't seem to have a discernible impact, either. Which is a bummer, because who wouldn't love something as simple as a delicious gummy to fix their life?
