Reviews mention

  • Weightless, primer-like textures
  • No white-cast application
  • Makeup-friendly, seamless layering
  • Innovative, travel-ready formats
  • Occasional oily residue feel
  • Inconsistent shade matching

Supergoop! impresses in reviews for comfortable, makeup-friendly SPFs—Unseen Sunscreen glides on clear and doubles as a primer, and Glow Screen delivers a luminous tint—while many note strong protection without white cast across skin tones. The reviews also flag drawbacks: some formulas feel oily or pill, a few cause breakouts or eye sting, shades/skintone match can miss, and several cite separation, packaging quirks, and consistently high prices.

  • Only tested sunscreen and love it. Silky smooth and gives a great shine.

  • I love that is leaves a clean finish on your skin. There’s no white cast or oily residue.

  • I’m torn on Supergoop. First off, I’m really happy that they’re one of the companies promoting the importance of skin and sun care and bringing it to the forefront of beauty products. I also like that they try to make innovative products like the powders and the sprays. However, I just don’t ~love~ anything I’ve ever tried from them. The price point is high, but the SPF is always lacking and the formulas just never sit well on my skin. The setting spray is like.. 80% alcohol so it smells and burns pretty bad, etc. Additionally, I think these products give consumers the false sense of proper sun protection. To make the powder truly protective, for example, you’d need to lay it on like cake icing…and that just ain’t happening. The packaging is very cute, but not very resilient if it were to roll around in a makeup bag, purse, or whatever masculine toting device someone might use. Overall, you can do better with other brands!

Honestly, it’s cute, but they lack in almost every category. Just skip this and try La Roche Poway or something else.

  • The daily sunscreen is great and goes on very smoothly. I love the texture and did not experience any white-cast. It's unnoticeable under makeup and has a bit of a smoothing effect on bare skin. The product lasted much longer than expected as well. I did not like the lip balm much - it left a weird aftertaste and wasn't as hydrating as other similar products.

  • the best find ever! My household uses all their products, BUT unseen is the best - love the consistency, the fragrance, the feel - everything. can not get enough of it.

a mini, refillable version (like a hand-gel dispenser) that i can put on my keychain or backpack would be awesome.

  • I have tried several supergoop products. My favorites are the unseen sunscreen, matte screen and glow screen. These are all a great texture and finish and makes sunscreen easy for everyday.

The matte screen and glow screen each have a little tint. I like having both depending on whether I want dewy glow or matte. They seem like small tubes but they lasted longer than I expected!

  • Love love love the Glow Oil! I wish other brands would make a non aerosol spray sunscreen because it's genius. It is, however true to it's name-- it's oily, so keep an eye on your garments while it soaks in. The Play sunscreen is good too, it doesn't leave a white cast or residue. Although there are probably better sunscreens out there for your face, Supergoop is awesome for the body! It's pricey but worth it when you can get it on sale.

  • Their combo facial moisturizer/sunscreen has TRULY helped me to create a facial routine. It's on the pricier end, but worth it!

  • Incredible unseen sunscreen, it’s literally invisible and has no scent or feel, it’s the best! Only downside is the price but it’s worth it!

  • Unseen sunscreen is my go to daily primer/spf. I really like their line of products. There isn’t any white cast and you don’t have to spend 20 minutes rubbing it into your skin

  • I have used the unseen sunscreen, cc cream, and everyday body lotion sunscreen. The Unseen Sunscreen is the perfect daily sunscreen for your face. It is smooth, absorbs quickly, is not shiny, and makes a great primer. The CC cream is a great light and buildable foundation. I would not use it alone to protect your face from the sun. The everyday lotion feels more like lotion then sunscreen. It rubs in quickly and smells great. I wear is daily in the city and when spending the day at the beach. Prevents burning when used correctly.

  • I thought it was an easy application and found I could wear it under make-up (Foundation) I also like that it goes a long way.

    Nothing could improve this.

  • Supergoop is the best. It's pricey, but worth it. I particularly love the glow screen. It works under makeup or as your main face makeup when you want a subtle glow.

  • I have mixed feelings about Supergoop!. I was first introduced to them when an influencer friend gave me some extras from her PR box. I got to try out the Unseen Sunscreen, and the body lotion they have with glitter in it. I definitely liked the Unseen Sunscreen at first, but after wearing it with makeup and trying out other sunscreens, I never wanted to go back to Supergoop!. I tend to like the silicone-y feel of dimethicone heavy sunscreens, but I think this one was just a bit too plastic-y feeling for me, and it did pill up under makeup, although I know that can be just because of my skin chemistry, the makeup products I used, technique, etc. The glitter-y body lotion was definitely very pretty, but I did get glitter everywhere, and it transferred, so I would probably only use it at the beach or a pool party.

Seeing what Supergoop! provides in PR boxes firsthand definitely changed my view of them. I know every brand does PR, but when most of the people I see getting PR are those who claim to care about sustainability, I would assume Supergoop! cares about that as well. So when I see influencers being given these big boxes of too much product, Instax cameras, beaded water bottle cases, and other "swag" items that while beautifully curated, are ultimately going to turn into waste, I feel there is a disconnect. At the end of the day, Supergoop! is just another brand and this is what brands do, but it did change my opinion.

  • Love Supergoop sunscreens. Smell great and feel great all day! Works very well and they have a great variety of products.

  • I've been using their Glow Stick for two years, and it's excellent! Travel-friendly and easy to apply. My only complaint is that it's a bit too greasy, so I only use it when I'm not wearing much makeup or on the go. I typically keep it in my purse as a "just in case" vs. an everyday SPF.

  • this is definitely one of the better sunscreens I have tried. Minimal to no white cast, it's not thick like some sunscreens out there so it's very easy to evenly put on.

Although it's light enough for me to use on my face (combo skin) it can give a bit of an oily feel.
