  • Weightless, primer-like textures
  • No white-cast application

  • Occasional oily residue feel
  • Inconsistent shade matching

Supergoop! impresses in reviews for comfortable, makeup-friendly SPFs—Unseen Sunscreen glides on clear and doubles as a primer, and Glow Screen delivers a luminous tint—while many note strong protection without white cast across skin tones. The reviews also flag drawbacks: some formulas feel oily or pill, a few cause breakouts or eye sting, shades/skintone match can miss, and several cite separation, packaging quirks, and consistently high prices.

  • I've started to prioritize my skin in my late 20s, and I use this brand all the time now. Love the focus on SPF, and that it doesn't make my skin break out or turn white.

  • I got the Play Everyday lotion because it was the only version that came in a decent size. It goes on oily and takes quite a long time to dry, so I have to time it at least 30-60 mins before makeup application. However, I like that it doesn't stain my black clothing with white marks. I won't be repurchasing, though, because at the price it was, I had higher expectations.

  • This SPF is not my *favorite* but it's a great daily option for someone who's not *super* particular and is looking for a good mid-priced option. I also like that some of their options come in very large bottles so you don't have to order 1x per month. It blends in quite well and even works under makeup. I would like to try their SPF mists. It does smell a bit like your typical sun lotion (which might just be what sun lotion does? I would prefer that to adding scent.)

I had to stop using it when I became pregnant due to one of the ingredients. Would be great if they made a pregnancy friendly option. Also more tinted options would be great.

  • Cute name. I have tried two products--Superscreen and Unseen. Some light breakouts with Superscreen and feels a bit greasy for a moisturizer so I discontinued. Unseen sunscreen works great!

  • Supergoop is the only sunscreen I've found that doesn't irritate my skin (or isn't a super thick baby sunscreen that never rubs in). I love the Unseen Sunscreen, and also love that they have matte sunscreens so that I don't feel shiny when I wear SPF.

  • I've been using the Everyday lotion for the last few months and wasn't expecting it to be as cosmetically elegant as the Korean sunscreens I've been using. No white cast, no goopiness (ha), and feels moisturizing. I also like the company's transparency around their SPF efficacy!

  • The Supergoop! Unseen SPF has been a game changer. The texture goes on smoothly and makes me excited to put on SPF everyday.

    Nothing I can think of!

  • Supergoop is a great product but I just see it as way too expensive for such a small tube. I think buying the Trader Joe's dupe is a better use of your money, or opting for something that is reef safe.

  • I wanted to love the supergoop sunscreen as many people rave about it. It applies nicely on the skin and does not leave a white cast. For some reason supergoop make me breakout with an allergic reaction. I thought it was a coincidence but all three times I’ve used it I’ve gotten an allergic reaction. I gave it to my friend and she loves it and uses it as her go it daily sunscreen. Sadly it didn’t work out for me.

  • Though more expensive than other brands, I enjoy Super Goop. I find it applies smoother and absorbs faster than do some of its competitors. I also appreciate the smaller size options that I can throw in my bag when my family is on the go.

  • Hold on so nicely no white cast or thick pasty feeling it’s so smooth and very quick and easy to apply. I use this every morning and I say great results. I would always protect my skin well but never burns throughout the day and I’m happy to be using this product to prevent aging.

  • I like how lightweight this sunscreen is and it does not leave a white cast when putting it on. It does not leave any sticky residue on my skin as well which I appreciate. This is my favorite sunscreen.

  • I love the transparent sunscreen. It is super moisturizing and not greasy. My only complaint is the price is a little much. I have found some dupes that are much cheaper, which I feel badly about because I'd rather support this brand but I can't always afford it.

  • Supergoop has such mediocre sunscreen, I am not a fan. Like their silicone one feels so greasy, and all of their other ones are just as basic. When I use Korean and Japanese sunscreens, hard to enjoy these

  • I use the sunscreen daily in my life, and I use almost all of their products daily as well. I love using the larger tubes of the unseen sunscreen for the Poole and then I love using the smaller sunscreens for daily use.

  • I know there is extreme hype around this sunscreen and it could just be me but oh my gosh the feeling of it and the texture on my face it just makes me cringe it is the worst it’s so greasy feeling I can’t

  • Supergoop is one of the best sunscreens I’ve tried — lightweight, non-greasy, and actually enjoyable to wear daily. I use the Unseen Sunscreen and it lives up to its name: completely clear, no white cast, and it doubles as a primer under makeup. Total game-changer. What I love most is how many options they offer for different skin types and needs. Whether you want something glowy, matte, or mineral-based, there’s a formula for you. And the packaging is sleek and travel-friendly, which is a plus! My only gripe is the price. It’s definitely on the premium side, and I wish the bottles were a bit bigger for what you pay. But the quality is there, and I’m willing to pay a little more for sunscreen I’ll actually wear every day. Overall, Supergoop makes sun protection feel like part of your skincare routine — not a chore!!

  • An innovator in the sunscreen space. We should all be grateful they made sunscreen fun again and came out with so many innovative products. The Unseen sunscreen will convert any nonbeliever into a sunscreen wearer!

  • I first found this at Athleta in-store. There was no tester, but I bought it anyways because the reviews were good. The texture is silky-smooth from silicone, I assume. It can get a bit oily. There is no white casting.
