  • I love Milk Bar, anything birthday cake is amazing! The truffles, cakes and cookies and very good. A must everytime I go to NYC.

  • I like Milk Bar but don't love it. I have gotten a few of their cakes over the years and honestly their truffles are really good, but otherwise overhyped and pricey.

  • Amazing for gifts! No matter which product, they really have their stuff down on how to package something so cute and well that it stays intact while also looking awesome. Everyone I sent a Milk Bar treat to so far has loved it!

  • Is it just me or is everyone else noticing that Milk Bar is invading near to every "sweets" category in the grocery store? I tried their prepackaged cookies and cookie dough. I'm a huge birthday cake + vanilla flavoring person, but something about Milk Bar's signature recipes are just too heavy on the almond flavor for me. It's that sharp kick of flavor that turns an otherwise comforting flavor into an "I don't know about that one..." for me. I like their ghost kitchen cookies (the dough balls are heaven-sent at 2:00AM on a Friday night) but their grocery items have left me underwhelmed.

  • I was sent the GF cake balls for my bday and they are so good. Very accurate taste to regular cake / easy to eat. Came in a cooler bag to keep them fresh as well.

My only critique is that the cake balls were a bit dry / crumbly.

  • This is a sweet treat delight. The packaged cookies aren't as great as I would have hoped. Same goes for the pies... They're a little too sweet. But their cakes and cake balls are honestly an indulgent luxury I like to splurge on when I have the opportunity. Their classic birthday cake has to be my favorite, but I do occasionally like their seasonal flavors! Ice cream is TBD. I've only had their mint chocolate, and it got to be too much after a while. very rich.

  • Hit or miss with the flavors, some taste too artificial. I gave these to friends as gifts in the past and gave they had stomach aches...

    Flavor and quality

  • tried a few of their goodies at the Milkbar shop here in Boston. was kinda disappointed at the lack of flavor and "wow factor," especially since they have such a big cult following.

    better quality!

  • Had the cake truffles. They were very oily - so much so that it leaves a film in your mouth. Overly sweet and didn't taste fresh. Not worth the hype for me.

  • Milk Bar’s packaged foods are decent but don’t quite capture the magic of visiting the shop in New York. The unique flavors and fresh textures that make the in-store experience so special just don’t translate as well to the packaged versions. While it’s great to have a taste of Milk Bar at home, it’s clear that nothing beats the original experience in NYC. If you have the chance, definitely visit the shop for the full, delicious experience.

  • The crunchy cookies were really good but I am not surprised. Small cookies but it's great when you're craving something sweet. I am more of a chewy cookie fan and I still enjoyed these.

Received a free product from Milk Bar
  • the milk bar pie is my favorite item on the menu although I have not tried the cakes. I got the cookie box which was not bad and came in a cute packaging which works great for gifts. The best cookie out of the bunch has to be the compost cookie as long as you warm it up first.

  • Have tried a few cakes, but a little too sweet for my taste, my stomach always hurts after. Haven't tried the cookies.

  • Always a great gift. Can't go wrong with Milk Bar! I do wish they had some options to include dairy free and vegan friends in the fun.

  • This birthday cake had a choke hold on millennials in our 20s. I can’t explain it. Four bites and you’ll realize it’s way too sweet but you can’t stop eating it. Don’t worry if the cake seems small, I promise, even a small slice is more than enough!

  • Lots of great goodies but a little too sweet. Great though for sending as a gift if you need an easy way to order and send some online.

  • Received a cake as a gift and honestly did not think it traveled well. It was super dried out. And also was just insanely sweet. The branding was super cool and at first glance feels like a high quality premium product, just wish it tasted better.

  • I’m sure that the IRL Milk Bar is cranking out bangers, but I am not a fan of their commercial products. I tried their Cereal Milk ice cream and it was a taste/texture nightmare— it was somehow stringy and taste like a particularly tangy block of cream cheese. I also had their Chocolate Chip Pretzel Potato Chip cookies, and while the flavor was great, I found them to be very thin and sort of lackluster. Milk Bar has a lot of hype but I don’t think their products live up to it!

  • Love everything they make! Especially their corn cookie and their compost cookie! Even their ice cream. Honestly, everything is good. :)

    * The sampler packs and the sets they sell during the holiday season are super worth it if you want to try a bit of everything. Loved the one that came with the crack pie!
