Le Creuset earns strong reviews and proves itself excellent: enameled cast iron Dutch ovens, skillets, and bakers deliver even heat, easy stove-to-oven versatility, and decades-long durability with colors that stay vibrant. Reviews also flag inherent drawbacks—significant weight, occasional enamel staining or chipping, bulk for storage, and hand-wash fuss—making the brand ideal for committed cooks but less compelling for light use.

Thoughts on Le Creuset salt and pepper mills?
I’ve been reading a lot of mixed reviews. I am tempted to buy them as they're really pretty, but I don’t know how long they'll last or what the quality is like? I've also been considering Peugeot salt and pepper mills as an alternative.
I am slowly building up my Le Creuset collection as these will be pieces I have with me for generations & hopefully pass down. The quality is unmatched & they cook they food so evenly. I love that they are branching out with fun collabs, new colorways & unique shapes.
Absolute best cooking pot I have ever, or will ever own. This is one of the few products I own that I have no doubt will last me until my inevitable, but hopefully distant demise.

I have a mug from here that I was gifted, and it is one of my prized possessions. It was a heart mug from a valentine's day drop, and it is so cute!!! I love the look and quality of Le Creuset, and the overall functionality is excellent as well. Can't wait to get more from here.
Beautiful, timeless kitchenware. We have collected a few pieces over the years and they age so well. I love the array of colors and being able to have an assorted collection or commit to one color. They are pricey, but they last, so they are an investment piece I guess.
Big fan, have several pieces. These are heirlooms! Definitely better than a lot of modern pieces available today. Really fun to build a collection.
I have their signature enameled cast iron pot and it works great! I've had this for more than 6 years now but still looking nice. Whenever there are stains in or outside the pot, I try to clean it with baking soda and rub it with plastic wrap (yes, this works better than normal kitchen scrubs since baking sodas are fine powders which gets sucked in the spots of the sponge) and it gets cleaned so nice! With the heaviness of this pot, the food does not require additional water to be put in when making vegetable soups. Very sturdy and high quality product!

Such a beautiful brand - as soon as you buy something, it's on track to become an heirloom. I love my dutch oven and use it every day.
High quality products that will last you a lifetime - worth the price. Beautiful range of colors as well. I even have their down bowls!
I love their bakeware! Gorgeous and lasts a while.

High quality products, but you will definitely pay for this. I think the cast irons are definitely worth it, but the other stuff I personally do not feel the need to spend the money on.
My mom and I have been using Le Creuset for many years and we use it for frying, baking, & roasting. My mom has made delicious italian food with this great cookware and it has brought so many great dinner memories over the last several years.
I have their espresso cups in red, and I absolutely love them. So high class.

I have Le Creuset cookware that belonged to my grandparents and it is still in fantastic shape! The new pieces hold the same level of quality. These pieces make great, thoughtful gifts. Customer support is FANTASTIC.
I have a dutch oven (common) and some metal pans (less common) from Le Creuset and am very happy with all of them! Wish it were a bit cheaper.
I am lucky enough to have a few products from Le Creuset—I was gifted a 3 piece set for my wedding and I have a mug set. Everything is lovely. The pots and pans all have a nice weight to them of course since they are iron but they don't feel overly heavy. I've been using almost exclusively these pieces for the past 7 years and I love them. I forsee them lasting my life and being able to be passed down to relatives. I received an enameled pan from a cheaper brand at the same time as these and it has not held up to the same degree as these. The mug set is beautiful and I love the aesthetic of them but they don't seem like anything special. I would prioritize splurging on an enameled cast ironed piece over the mugs personally. I also want to call out that I have had positive experiences with their customer support. They have been easy to speak to and very helpful which is always refreshing, especially when you're dealing with such an expensive product.
Love my enamel cast iron. This is a LUXURY item though. You can find it used or at an outlet pretty easily. If that’s still not accessible, Costco has other comparable brands but Le Creuset is truly the best if you want funky colors and a long lasting product.
These dishes are just right. Their color and style gives them character without being too flamboyant, and they're a great addition to any household. Whether it's the beautiful french press with matching cafe cups, or a large stock pot you're after, don't hesitate! I've had a full set for over 10 years and cannot get enough of their versatility.
My family's pantries are stacked full of Le Creuset. I know the meal is about to be good when it's in a Le Creuset. They are the backbone to every great dish, family recipe, and fun time around the table. I'm excited to be handed my set, and hopefully pass them down to my kids. The red and blue are my favorite colors! They clean easily and don't chip.
Know for a fact, as most people do, that these last for a very long time. I have a chef friend who highly recommends Staub over Le Creuset dutch ovens because they cook more evenly.
