Le Creuset earns strong reviews and proves itself excellent: enameled cast iron Dutch ovens, skillets, and bakers deliver even heat, easy stove-to-oven versatility, and decades-long durability with colors that stay vibrant. Reviews also flag inherent drawbacks—significant weight, occasional enamel staining or chipping, bulk for storage, and hand-wash fuss—making the brand ideal for committed cooks but less compelling for light use.

Love the aesthetic of these, and they feel super sturdy and well-made

Too pricey to justify right now!
My absolute favorite dutch oven of all time. Forever my go to for any sauces, searing meats, or any quick sauteeing.
Le Creuset is a top choice for anyone seeking durable, long-lasting cookware with an elegant touch. Known for quality, their enameled cast iron pieces can last decades and are backed by excellent customer service. The brand offers a stunning array of vibrant, fade-resistant colors that make a stylish addition to any kitchen. However, the cookware is a bit of an investment, and some pieces are quite heavy and require hand-washing to preserve the finish. Overall, while pricey, Le Creuset’s quality and timeless appeal make it worth considering for anyone serious about cooking.

Be mindful of what you will actually use, because these things are bulky, heavy, and expensive. That said, if you have the appropriate products, they are a worth-it generational investment. Pro tip: keep the little plastic pieces between the lid and pot, good for storage later.
We have one of their Dutch ovens and love it for a variety of cooking methods. We've made one pot pastas, soup stocks, baked bread and more with it so far and every time it's given consistent cooking temperatures throughout the dish (no hot spots on the bottom). Cleaning is also relatively easy, for tougher stuck on foods with a little TLC we were able to get everything off to make the pot look brand new. If you're looking for one good cooking tool, this is definitely one we recommend - even at it's higher price point it's worth it!
I’ve had Le Creuset casserole dishes for years. They are really great quality, beautiful colors, oven safe, and extremely sturdy. There’s a reason the brand has been around for so long. Honestly if I had to think of a con for the brand it would be the cost and weight (they are heavy), but those are some of the exact reasons they are also so good. I consider my Le Creuset pieces life long, unlike some other kitchenware that costs just as much and only lasts a season or two.
Absolutely OBSESSED with my tea kettle, mugs, and French press!! They are so beautiful and are such good quality!!

Such great quality! Absolutely love the color variations and how many different styles there are! There’s something for everything and that’s amazing! Love the different shapes as well, that’s super cool!
I do like this brand for cooking products. The products are sturdy and last a long time. They seem to heat evenly when I'm cooking. I have had one issue with the coating chipping and the company helped troubleshoot and eventually replaced the piece. They have food customer service.
Absolutely stunning products! I have many of their products currently from pots and pans to other accessories. I feel that they are very high quality and very durable. I also like that they are easy to use and they also have a lifetime warranty.
Huge fan of the products high quality approach and how durable they are. I've had mine for 7+ years already and don't plan on getting new ones at any time. I like that its non-toxic too.
Buy it for life.
Ridiculous pricing, but that’s how all luxury brands are. I bought my sister a limited edition utensil crock and it was so beautiful. The ceramic was thick, evenly coated, and had a gorgeous design. Definitely an investment for quality!
A lifelong kitchen staple for anyone who cooks. The quality is unmatched and classic colors make it easy to purchase pieces to add to your collection over time. Cast iron works great and looks nice so you can serve right out of the pan!

The OG of cast iron and a great product. I’ve had a few Dutch ovens from them as well as some bakeware. Functionally exactly the same as any of their competitors so really comes down to scoring a good deal when I’ve been looking to add. We use induction and they work really well with that. Size and weight means we generally have to wash by hand which is annoying but not the end of the world.

Sometimes a classic is a classic for a reason. Le Creuset's cast iron dutch ovens are a kitchen staple for me. They're dependable, work well, and last a long time. I've had my 2.75qt and my 5.5qt for close to 6 years now, and they're still the go-to pots that I braise, stew, and roast in. After so many years, there's browning on the enamel bottom, but it's not disfiguring. Their range of colors is also so much fun!
Fun to build a collection with a mix and match of colors. I started with the classic Dutch Oven and the rest is history. Definitely forever items in my kitchen that can be passed down. Wonderfully made and use constantly.
My Le Creuset pan is one of my favorite cooking utensils! The build quality is extra-ordinary. Fun to cook with!
Le Creuset is a classic for a reason. I've had the 5 1/2 quart signature dutch oven for around 6 years. It has held up excellently, and it's white! It's very easy to clean, it's very versatile, no complaints. My mom has had several Le Creuset items since even before I was born, and everything still works. I think she's only had one handle (a plastic one) break, but it was easily replaced with a part ordered from the company itself. I appreciate their dedication to quality and longevity and the sustainability of being able to repair items that may rarely become damaged.

Great stuff if you really enjoy cooking. It’s a bit pricy, so not worth it if you don’t plan to use it a lot.
