  • Effortless, natural finish makeup
  • Compliment‑magnet signature fragrance
  • Lightweight, blendable textures
  • Chic, minimalist packaging
  • Sheer coverage complexion products
  • Inconsistent scent longevity
  • Fiddly, fragile packaging
  • Limited inclusive shade range

Glossier delivers an easy, “no-makeup makeup” look that works for many, according to reviews of Glossier, with standouts like Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, Stretch Concealer, Milky Jelly Cleanser, and the You fragrance earning repeat buys and compliments. However, reviews also flag inconsistent skincare efficacy, very sheer coverage, shade-range limitations, packaging flaws (leaky tubes, cracking caps, tiny Boy Brow), reformulation concerns (Balm Dotcom, You longevity), and some products that fade, flake, or feel sticky.

  • I purchased the boy brow and boy flick pen because I wanted to try and achieve a fuller looking brow (I already have micro blading and lamination). I loved their website and the packaging it came in because it’s now become my bag organizer. The brow gel is fantastic cuz it doesn’t clump or get hard as a rock on my brows. Great customer service because my first package got sent to the wrong address and they sent me out a new one the same day without any hesitation.

I’m not sure I quite know how to use Boy flick Because it never seems to work correctly or look like the tutorial video.

  • I am definitely not a makeup person, but I heard the hype behind this brand and had to get something. So a while back I tried the Wowder Duo. This includes the Wowder finishing powder and the Wowder brush. While I loved the packaging and look of the products, I felt that a cheaper powder I previously used did a better job of covering up the redness on my face. I would be interested in trying more of their products, but their price point is a bit too high for me to feel like I could experiment with whatever else they have.

  • I love how easy the products are to use and that most of them don't require additional tools. It makes it really easy to swipe things on and feel set for the day. I love Generation G which is a perfect matte lip tint, Haloscope is an easy-to-use swipe on highlighter stick, and Lidstar is an easy way to add color to the lids without too much effort. The Milky Jelly Cleanser is also great, though I've switched to a similar product from Pacifica that comes in a glass bottle.

I'm always looking for more sustainability in my products and that's not a focus for Glossier.

  • innovative brand and fantastic marketing. i like their lip liner! but a lot of their products unfortunately break me out like the blush and the bronzer. glossier you smells good tho

  • Glossier is an amazing set of products. I definitely recommend it is worth the price and you’ll be glad that you’ve tried them. Definitely made a difference for me.

  • Used to use their cloud paint all the time, but it's not as blendable. It is very pigmented so a little goes a long way. Use the brow gel in brown and 10/10 I look great. It's on my list to try out their perfume.

  • Glossier's products are good basics with appealing packaging. Their repackaged balms come in pretty tints, and the mascara is a nice everyday basic one to use.

  • Super unique but not overwhelming scent. I always get compliments when I wear it.

  • I’m mixed on glossier - I like the highlighting stick, and I used to like the mascara but it started getting dry and flaky

  • I like the aesthetic of the brand, the simplicity and especially the fragrance. It’s the only thing I wear now.

  • BABY THE LIP GLOSS IS TO DIE FOR!! I would give my life and stand by all the glossier products in my bathroom. Gamer girls THIS IS THE BRAND!!

My overall experience is that they deliver in ingredients and have amazing customer support.

  • I can only speak to the cosmetics and fragrance. This brand is sooo hyped which made me excited to try it but unfortunately it kind of let me down. If you have oily skin or acne the makeup probably won’t work for you. The cloud paint blush is sooo pretty but disappeared within an hour on me. They liquid eyeshadows were also kind of a dud and for the price there are other products I prefer that work better. The fragrance and body care products are fantastic tho. I love the oil to cream body wash, lotion, and perfume! The scent is a light, clean, everyday scent. I would repurchase these products and I hope they come out with another fragrance.

  • Glossier is a mixed bag! I recently learned that their life changing mascara is not vegan so I’ve had to stop using my holy grail item. Other favourites would be the body wash and bar.

    Feedback

They are expanding their retail footprint and are at Sephora now, so would recommend testing stuff out in person. Mostly, I just wish they were fully vegan :/

  • I love some stuff and really don’t like others. It’s hit or miss for me.

    Feedback

I’ve tried many of their products and for me the must haves are boy brow and balm dotcom. I am never very impressed with the skincare, but love the make-up. Excellent packaging and branding.

  • Glossier is a very aesthetic brand and I do like their cloud paint, but I honestly do not get the hype. I don't love their cleansers or other makeup products. It felt like it was trying too hard.

    More sustainable packaging!

  • I am late to the Glossier party but am loving my new haul! I've tried several products including cloud paint, future dew, balm dot com, lidstar, and haloscope. Cloud paint and haloscope are so great, super lightweight and blendable. I especially love the cloud paint in beam - it's the perfect peachy flush. Lidstar might be one of my fav products - the application is so smooth and I love that it feels really dry even immediately after applying. The bun color is a really nice golden hue.

    Feedback

Balm dot com is an amazing lipgloss/balm (looks more glossy if you apply more) but what is up with the application tip? Please redesign for a smooth applicator you lose so much product (not to mention it feels rough on your lips). Future dew - wanted to love this one but it feels thick on your skin and doesn't really absorb well.

  • Slow delivery to Canada, but some great products. Lash slick mascara: no clumping, zero smudging ( and I always get smudging) and long natural looking lashes. Boy brow: cult fav for a reason Cloud paint: best blush ever , sheer and blends well Balm.com: great for all dry spots

    Feedback

Less great products : Perfecting skin tint: barely-there evening effect. Not worth close to $50 Brow flick : meh

  • I've used their products for awhile. I've purchased because of the strength of the brand and many of their testimonials, both paid and unpaid.

I've found products lately (like Merit) that are higher quality for the same price point. I'm 26, and I feel like Glossier has developed into a brand made for a younger age group.

  • Have been following the growth of glossier for most of my teen years into my adulthood, it is crazy to see the lengths which they have grown and improved!

    Feedback

Overall Glossier products are good, you just know the price you are getting into. If you can sacrifice a bit of coin, you will feel the most luxurious with just simple products. A few items I can interchange with cheaper dupes, but some things you just have to get straight from the source.

  • Love the whole brand experience, especially in-store

Makeup products are not as good, lots of packaging that isn't necessary
