  • It’s absolutely worth the premium cost. Once you taste its complexity you’ll realize why it costs three times more than something like Trader Joe’s chili crisp, which is more oily and greasy than anything.

  • Fly By Jing never disappoints! Their sauces are packed with bold, authentic flavors that instantly elevate any meal. You can taste the quality and care in every bite — it’s spicy, savory, and so delicious. I’m obsessed and always keep a jar in my kitchen! 🔥🥢

  • I've gotten Fly by Jing chili crisp a few times and I absolutely love it! I've gotten the original chili crisp and have paired it with eggs, dumplings etc. and have found it to be extremely flavorful! It definitely has a more liquid consistency than traditional Chinese chili crisp but still extremely good! + I like the packaging a lot!

  • Fly by Jing products are so delicious! I’ve noticed they’re consistently good! They add so much flavor to your food. I stocked up on a few boxes to make sure I have some handy at all times. If you make any kind of food at home I would recommend this to add to the flavor.

  • I've seen Fly by Jing everywhere but never had the opportunity to try (since I had a bottle of Lao Gan Ma always). However, I LOVED the Sichuan Chili Crisp on my eggs in the morning. Great overall flavoring and not too much heat. I could see why the offered the Xtra Spicy Chili Crisp. Looking forward to trying out the other flavors!

  • I was so looking forward to trying Fly by Jing's Chili Crisp oil. I love chili oils and I've seen so much hype about this product that I couldn't wait to try it. My local grocery stores didn't carry it so I wound up having to order it online. I found it to be mostly oil with minimal spices and no "crisp." In all, it was okay. I used it on broccoli and then on noodles. It had a mild flavor, overly oily (yes, I know it's oil) , and only slightly spicy. I will use the rest of this jar on other foods but I don't know if I would purchase it again.

  • Branding is world class and I've only heard great things. I did find myself a bit underwhelmed though, didn't think the Sichuan chili crisp oil had a good kick to it plus was extremely messy to use.

I don't know if it was just me, but my jar literally kept leaking chili oil EVERYWHERE. I would take pains to make sure the lid was screwed on as carefully as possible but I still couldn't stop it from leaving red oil stains on everything it touched.

  • Fling by Jing is super flavorful and unique! The spices are bold and vibrant, making it a great addition to any dish. I love the quality and the freshness, but sometimes the flavor can be a bit too intense for my taste. Still, it’s definitely a fun and tasty option!

  • High quaity packaging and product. The taste of the classic chili oil is a bit sharp and bright for my taste, the crisps are also very large. Delish!

  • I tasted this in store and it was way too spicy for me. I will say, I am someone sensitive to spice. It might be a great product for people who love spicy stuff

  • I bought Fly by Jing with the try new things program. I think it was pretty much as hyped up as it could be and I wasn't disappointed. I'll definitely keep using it - yesterday I marinated tofu with the chili crisp oil, a little low sodium soy, and rice vinegar for crispy rice salad. I'll definitely do it again!

  • I picked up this product through Thingtesting's sampling program, and I was a little unsure of how I would feel about it because this product is all over the internet. Safe to say that the reason everyone is talking about Fly by Jing is because their product is really really good. I made scrambled eggs this morning with the sichuan chili crisp and it was deliciousss. Highly recommend taking advantage of the sampling program it's so worth it.

  • Purchased the original chili crisp to go with frozen dumplings from Trader Joe's and it was delicious. I have also been successful in putting this on other items like eggs, bread, and ramen. The jar goes kind of quickly since just one scoop is not enough when pairing it with items. I'll continue to re-purchase a couple of times a year because it does make a difference with certain dishes and feels like a treat.

  • I have tried their chili crisp oil, and it was delicious. I've used it as a sauce for dumplings and as another thing to add to my own cooking. I love the crunch and it's the perfect amount of spice.

  • My mouth waters when I think about this sauce and even at this moment as I am writing this review. Love putting this on just about everything, like seriously everything. I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy, but the balance between crunchy/savory really helps. It's got a kick, but not the type where you can't enjoy your food.

Not their problem, but I'm waiting for a jar invention that reduces oil getting all over the rim and jar over use of time.

  • I finally picked up the Zhong sauce at Whole Foods today and made a fish and rice bowl with it and I am in LOVE! I can't wait to try the wontons from here, but the sauces were so tasty and flavorful and added the perfect bits of spice to everything I tried it on so far.

  • Absolutely delicious product that no pantry/fridge should be without. The Sichuan Chili Crisp will add an immense amount of delicious, unforgettable flavor to anything, from eggs to ice-cream. The Mala Spice Mix is so good sprinkled on snacks (esp popcorn). Everything is so authentic with high quality ingredients. Love the branding and the communication - equal parts delightful and informative. I'd love to see such thoughtful product development happening in other cultures.

  • The Zhong Sauce is the perfect chili crisp I use for pretty much anything. Soups, salads, dumplings, pasta.... the list goes on. It's not terribly spicy, but it adds the perfect flavor and kick I need to enhance my meal. I could rave about it forever. My one thing that I regret is that it disappears too quickly in my household.

  • Fly By Jing's Sichuan Chili Crisp has officially ruined all other condiments for me. It's complex, addictive, and somehow makes even the most basic meals taste gourmet.

  • I’ve tried their sichuan chili crisp but it was not my taste of what to expect for a crisp sauce. It didn’t really have a strong spice taste.
