I feel like the only person in the world that doesn't rave about Fly by Jing. I was underwhelmed by the Sichuan Chili Crisp; it feels heavy on the flat, oily taste and feels almost more like an ingredient than a standalone sauce. I've tried it with a ton of things, but when I get dumplings I generally prefer a more savory sauce I suppose. The Zhong Sauce was better, in my opinion, and I use that much more frequently, but it still tastes rather oily.
The packaging is a nightmare. These jars must have pores, because they sweat bright red oil over every surface they touch. No matter how many times you clean the jar and the lid, somehow, the stuff still escapes. I resorted to dumping them in Weck Jars, where they are finally contained. But they desperately need to figure out better jars, because I got real tired of cleaning up my cabinet every week.
