Reviews mention

  • Durable fabrics, everyday wearability
  • Comfortable technical layers, heattech
  • Breathable airism performance textiles
  • Versatile, minimalist wardrobe staples
  • Inconsistent sizing, boxy fits
  • Occasional fabric pilling, fragility
  • Down jackets tear, leak feathers
  • Limited length options for tall

Uniqlo earns largely positive reviews and proves a reliable source for well-made basics that perform—HEATTECH and AIRism consistently keep wearers comfortable, and ultra light down holds up over years of travel. Reviews also flag weaknesses: inconsistent sizing, occasional quality dips (e.g., denim, cashmere, down tearing), and frustrating return policies for online orders, making in‑store try‑ons preferable.

  • I buy almost all my cloths at Uniqlo. Since when I lived in Japan I loved this brand. It’s simple and clean fashion. The kids lineup is nice too and the cloth texture is soft and nice.

  • love the basics! my favorites are the uniqlo tees, so comfortable! I have at least 10 versions of them.

  • Uniqlo is my go-to for quick, high-quality essentials. Their products are consistently reliable, offering great value without sacrificing style or durability. Whether it’s basics or seasonal pieces, Uniqlo delivers a seamless shopping experience with items that fit perfectly into any wardrobe. It’s a brand I trust for both everyday wear and more polished looks.

  • Love their heat tech line. They have a pair of heat tech tights that are the holy grail of tights, especially in the winter. You'll be warm, but it's not knit heavy. Their jeans are super comfortable and not extremely tight like other brands.

  • Uniqlo is best with activewear, in my experience. Rainjackets, puffers, heat-containing clothes for skiing. I do like the collared shirts. The sweaters, I've had mixed success with. The jeans are good not amazing.

  • Great quality affordable basics. I LOVE Uniqlo for tshirts (only non-see through white I've found for under $30). Great underwear/bras, wash well, last a long time. The dress shirts are high quality and comfortable. My only complaint is the sizing. Some items run HUGE and there are very few brick and mortar stores, so trying on not an option. I've purchased xxxs and had it look large on me (and i'm petite, but definitely not an xxxs in any other sizes).

  • Affordable basics that are high quality. Relative to competitors, Uniqlo's product outlasts them all.

Would love to see more trendy clothing!

  • I absolutely love Uniqlo! I’ve been shopping there for years, and I can always count on their clothes for quality and style. The fabric feels great, and the pieces hold up well over time, even after multiple washes. One of my favorite items has to be their thermals—they're incredibly comfortable and perfect for layering during colder months. The variety of colors and styles available means I can always find something that fits my wardrobe. Overall, Uniqlo consistently delivers great quality and value, making it a go-to brand for my clothing needs!

  • love love love the basic collection! I'm very picky when it comes to white t-shirts and Uniqlo has one of the best ones in my opinion: they have nice sleeves, the fabric is not see-through, the price is affordable. I'm also in love with the lightweight jackets. However, if you're a tall individual, I'd recommend going a few sizes up (I'm 173 and I normally get L/XL). And for my girlies, the period underwear is a must!

  • They never disappoint. Their products are always super high-quality and they have all the essentials you might need. Love the colors they have, the fabric, and the styles.

  • Great for basics and layering pieces. Love their little collabs, and children's clothes, too. Weirdly enough I have a pair of black skinny jeans that I purchased probably a decade ago, two sizes ago, that I can surprisingly still squeeze into and have held up really well.

  • I wore their dry color V-neck and crew neck T-shirts, as well as their Supima cotton V-neck and crew neck T-shirts for many years in many colors. They were great when you could consistently find the Supima cotton shirts for 10-15 dollars, but now that their prices have increased, I would prefer to get higher quality basic T-shirts from brands with better manufacturing practices such as Everlane.

  • My go to brand for all basics and essential clothing! I have tried a bunch of their t-shirts, shirts, dresses, sweaters, pains, loungewear, jackets and coats. While I recommend absolutely all of this because of the wide range of colours, simple styles and great quality, I am specifically recommending the Heat tech range, down jackets and their t-shirts. They are extremely high quality, very effective in their use and last you a long time. A special mention to the moon bag, it fits an incredible lot, love it!

  • Uniqlo is everyones go to for reliable basics, and for good reason. Wintering in NYC on a budget, the down jackets and heattech are must haves.

  • i like uniqlo overall, but you have to find what is worth the price. some of their stuff is overpriced for the material it is, but their officewear is very worth it. they come in all kinds of colors, so you can purchase the same style you like and are comfortable wearing in numerous shades. my favorite purchase from uniqlo would be their sweaters. they do collaborations with various designers as well, which are really nice to see in stores.

  • Best value for quality basics. I love the Airism line for summer and Heattech line for winter. The down vests and jackets are also great. I rarely see any pilling or worn out fits.

  • My wardrobe is almost filled just with Uniqlo items! I recommend everything that fit you :)
