Uniqlo reviews and discussion

Reviews mention

  • Durable fabrics, everyday wearability
  • Comfortable technical layers, heattech
  • Breathable airism performance textiles
  • Versatile, minimalist wardrobe staples
  • Inconsistent sizing, boxy fits
  • Occasional fabric pilling, fragility
  • Down jackets tear, leak feathers
  • Limited length options for tall

Uniqlo earns largely positive reviews and proves a reliable source for well-made basics that perform—HEATTECH and AIRism consistently keep wearers comfortable, and ultra light down holds up over years of travel. Reviews also flag weaknesses: inconsistent sizing, occasional quality dips (e.g., denim, cashmere, down tearing), and frustrating return policies for online orders, making in‑store try‑ons preferable.

  • I’ve bought a few things from here over the years. It’s a great place for basic staples.

I feel like you’re getting what you pay for here. Is it mind blowing luxury? Nah not really. Is it still pretty good and worth the money? Yeah usually.

  • comparable to stuff at places like h&m but i'd say uniqlo is way better quality than competitors and i would say the sizing/fitting of their stuff is better than competitors as well. plus they have great customer support/service if need to exchange

  • I absolutely love Uniqlo's lightweight down jacket! It is stylish and functional and can be packed up in a compact travel bag. There are roomy pockets with zippers to keep everything organized and elasticized cuffs and hem to keep the cold out.

  • Uniqlo always has cute graphic shirts and hoodies. The material is also soft.

  • I love their tshirts as they fit so nicely. I only wish they were not so expensive.

  • Uniqlo consistently pops out with super high-quality clothing. Personally I’ve bought many tank tops from them to get ready for the heat of summer and they just looks so good on me and provide a refreshing look

  • Uniqlo has become one of my go-to brands for stylish, affordable, and comfortable clothing! I love how versatile their pieces are, whether I’m looking for basics or something a little more unique. The quality is always on point, and the fabrics feel so soft and durable. Their selection of outerwear and layering pieces is especially impressive, making it easy to mix and match for any occasion. Uniqlo truly delivers great value, and I always feel good about the pieces I get from them!

  • I love the ultra light weight down jackets. I live in Los Angeles so I don't have much occasion to wear a heavy coat, but I can wear this all year round. It's great for travel because you can put it in its bag and use it as a travel pillow or on chilly planes and takes up very little space. I have bought many basic items from the store over the years and have been happy with all of them. Clothes, underwear, heat tech, cool tech, it's all very solid and the clothing is very thick and sturdy and holds up well over time and the prices are very affordable. Its fast fashion prices but much better quality.

  • High quality good clothes good style. Worth the money. Great basics.

  • Their products are high quality at an affordable price!! I would get all my basics from here

  • Best men’s underwear in the biz, the only ones the husband will wear.

  • I really love getting Uniqlo for its cotton basics. Always high quality and lots of colors to choose from at great prices. Can't beat the quality and price of basics here.

  • Great basics. Affordable! I much prefer to shop in store. I don't love their website.

  • I've been shopping at Uniqlo for years and I love the style and price of their clothing. A few styles are run a bit small but overall I've been very pleased shopping at my local Uniqlo.

  • A great store to find inexpensive basics. The quality is great as well! Couldn’t recommend more. Something for everyone

  • Uniqlo is the perfect place to go buy basics. I've been shopping there for years and they continue to not disappoint. I recently bought a rayon cropped shirt and a blazer for work. They were great price points for the quality of the product.

  • Great inexpensive basics. My socks are from there, I plug on the podcast on how I use their Heat tech religiously. What would we do without Uniqlo? I helped open the Uniqlo store in Philly.
