Uniqlo earns largely positive reviews and proves a reliable source for well-made basics that perform—HEATTECH and AIRism consistently keep wearers comfortable, and ultra light down holds up over years of travel. Reviews also flag weaknesses: inconsistent sizing, occasional quality dips (e.g., denim, cashmere, down tearing), and frustrating return policies for online orders, making in‑store try‑ons preferable.

Everyone should have one of the lightweight puffers and some of the thermal undershirts. They pack up easily and keep you warm.

love the basics especially their bra collections. extremely comfortable
THEY HAVE SOME OF THE CUTEST LOUNGE WEAR FOR VERY CHEAP PRICE.
Cheap but good
Good pricing but tee shrank after 2 wash.
cheap affordable clothing options. also love the slick and expensive look for a good price

The best brand to buy high quality, reasonably priced basics. Will continue to shop here for my t shirts and other basics. Also, love their collaborations!!
I love Uniqlo! I buy a lot of stuff from them, and I find the items to be good quality and they last long. The heat tech and airism ranges are my favourite, I also have a merino jumper from them which is really nice quality (and because it's merino, you can wash it less!).
Uniqlo U products are higher quality imo. Good basics.

Very good, used to be a bit better! The quality of their cashmere has gone down noticeably - it's no longer soft/spongey, but instead scratchy - the total opposite of what you want in cashmere. With that said, I love their collaborations, I love their focus on utility, and I love the design-oriented nature of the company.
If you havent been introduced to their Airism line yet, then you are severely missing out. I've tested and worn what feels like every relevant tshirt brand out there and quite frankly nothing compares to the fit, quality and price. While the Tee is the Hero, the hidden gem is their innerwear. The seamless Vneck is a great staple for wearing under any button down or tee on a hot day - keeps you cool and dry through the heat. Not every piece in their range is a standout but def some key staples.
Great quality for the price. I appreciate that they make mens clothes available in small sizes

The quality of Uniqlo is the best, I've used a lot of clothes from here and I'm obsessed.

I like Uniqlo but I feel their range is sometimes a bit exy for what you get... worth it when the products go on sale. I like how the pieces are versatile but they don't really fit my body well and make me look boxy.
Good basic clothes.
I love the concpet of Uniqlo. Affordable quality everyday clothing that will last you for a long time. Their basic t-shirt is super comfortable and you can buy it in every color. Their sweatpants and generally all their clothing have a great fit. I highly recommend this brand - easy simple basics to pair with your more high end pieces.
Love that I can show up to Uniqlo for any basics I might need and know that I can find them at an affordable price. I have a puffer jacket I bought yearsssss ago that's still a staple in my wardrobe.
Uniqlo is the best one stop shop for all of your clothing basics. Everything is very well structured and flattering and truly feels high quality. I will forever be coming back to Uniqlo.
Uniqlo is probably about 70% of my wardrobe. Sometimes I look in the mirror and realize every single item I'm wearing is from them. I'm more on the petite end and everything fits great. I love that you can get their jeans altered for only an extra 5 bucks online (I believe they still do in-store alterations, too!) For such an affordable price, their jeans and pants are amazing. I will say I don't like shopping on their site sometimes- it needs a better sort/filter feature or something. I also notice it's slow to update when an item is sold out (It'll pop up, but when you click on it, no sizes will be available.) Shopping in store is definitely the way to go. Also, sometimes their sizing is weird on certain collaboration items. It'll be way too wide or just a weird proportion. The go-to basics remain consistent, but it's just something I've noticed. If you're in NYC, I'd also HIGHLY recommend going to GU in Soho, their sister store. Great prices and quality as well, I've already bought a ton of basic items that I know will last for years. I hope they stay and start selling online too!
my absolute go-to for YEARS when it comes to everyday basics from underwear all the way to outerwear. the clothes are reliable, and machine wash so so well <3 they have many innovative product lines that suit diff needs. the Heattech line is a MUST for cold weather!
