Simulate earns largely positive reviews for plant-based “Nuggs” that convincingly mimic fast‑food chicken nuggets—especially the Spicy variety—delivering crisp breading, satisfying texture, and strong crowd‑pleasing appeal across vegans and omnivores. Reviews also flag weaknesses: occasional dryness or blandness in the original flavor, inconsistent interior texture (spongy or too soft), highly processed ingredients, and reliance on air‑frying for best results, making it a great nostalgic fix but not universally loved.

I have been super impressed by Simulate. Their branding always catches my eye and their nuggets are surprisingly delicious. My family's favorites are the spicy nuggs and the dino nuggs. They air fry super well and taste nothing like artificial chicken.
These are excellent for picky eaters. My kids absolutely love these and have no idea they are not chicken. We are really enjoying the new dinosaur shapes available.
SOOOOOO GOOD! I swear to you, they taste EXACTLY like McDonald's chicken nuggets. And, if you like those, you will love these.

No notes. Perfection.
I actually really enjoyed Nuggs! I thought it was delicious (but you really have to cook it at the temperature + time that they recommend) or else the taste and the crunch becomes completely off. However for the price? I was expecting a little more in the box.

A little more bang for my buck? But otherwise it was a solid experience
I am unsure if I cooked them wrong, but I cooked them exactly to the specifications on the box so I am not sure if I did something else than everyone. But I cannot say these tasted like chicken nuggets at all. I shared some with my brother and he thought the same. These were pretty flat and not as soft as I was hoping. I could get past the texture if that was the only issue, but the taste was not good at all. I want to love these types of brands that are able to emulate meats in order to save animals and the environment, but I will definitely have to wait to see if they improve their recipe. Also, I am so glad I waited until they sold Nuggs at supermarkets. $45 for two boxes (the online price) is a huge gamble for any food that you have never tried before. But I will say I am in love with the marketing for this product, and the website is fun to navigate.

Definitely keep working on the recipe for these, they really did not taste like the chicken nuggets I am used to (unless I got a bad batch).
I love Simulate Foods! The branding is sick, and their products are just as impressive. It’s a brand that really stands out in both quality and style.

I'm not super super into plant-based meat, but I recall these tasting good and I liked when they had dino shapes!
The OG vegan nuggets in my opinion - I tried these before any other brand were on the market, and they were amazing. The spicy nuggets are my favorite and really scratch the childhood itch/desire for chicken nuggets. Taste just like the nuggets I remember from when I was a kid. If you're vegan/vegetarian and craving some nostalgia, these really hit the spot.
These were not my favorite plant based nuggets. They originally captured my attention via social media marketing from vegans/vegetarians trying them. My friend actually bought these for us to try, both regular and spicy.
Feedback
They did not taste very much like chicken and the color looks a bit off/not so appetizing, but good if you take them for what they are! I thought using a dipping sauce would help, but not really.
These are fire 🔥. Taste like Mcnuggets in the best way. The spicy ones are even better. Their marketing is also on another level.

It makes me sad when i realize I need to wait ~30 minutes for them to cook well
I love them. They have a good crust

I was surprised at how much these resembled real chicken nuggets, both in taste and appearance. I am always skeptical of meat alternatives, but these are some of the best I've tried. Easy to prepare and the whole family likes them.

Very meh. I think the packaging is fun, stands out and is the main reason we tried them. But the texture and the flavor both felt very fake.

Did not satisfy and we didn’t even finish the box. Will stick to quorn brand for our nuggies!

Delicious. I am not vegetarian, but still choose these over the meat option.

I would still treat these as "junk food" and not have them in my freezer on a regular basis However, If I had to pick just one alternative chicken strip/nugget item I would pick these. I haven't had a real chicken nugget in a very long time but these feel so close to the traditional fast food version, and my meat-eating boyfriend agrees. Spicy version is great.
LOVE these. The spicy nuggets are so good and because it's plant based I don't even feel guilty about snacking on these. Very reasonably priced too.
Actually tasted just like chicken nuggets (from the pull of the meat to the crunch of the breading), but only if you bake them at a high enough temperature and for long enough. Otherwise, the inside is a little mushy. Convenient, fair priced, and good for plant-based cravings. Can appreciate it as a once-in-a-while treat, since the nutrition pretty much matches regular chicken nuggets (protein high but fats also high). Note: the spicy version is actually quite spicy.
I liked the Nuggs, but I found them to be a little dry. I'd definitely try them again though.

Surprisingly great. You aren't gonna be fooled into thinking it's real chicken, but who cares, it's a nugget. It's a sauce delivery vehicle. Accept it and be happy.

Interested in other products. The Discs are neat. What else is out there? Is it possible to make vegan mozzarella sticks that don't suck?

I was really disappointed with these. I'm a huge fan of Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods, so was really excited to try a chicken alternative. They just weren't the right texture - I would have preferred deep-fried tofu over Nuggs, and my meat-eating boyfriend agreed.
