On Running earns polarized reviews: many say the shoes are comfortable, lightweight, and cushioned enough for walking, everyday wear, and even long races, while others report inconsistent support for running, half‑size‑small fits, and durability issues like heel and mesh tearing. Reviews praise styles like Cloud 5, Cloudmonster, Cloudrunner, and The Roger for sleek looks and versatile comfort, but flag pebble‑catching soles, flimsy or fussy laces, traction concerns on wet metal, and widely criticized customer service.

I've purchased two pairs of the On Running On Cloud women's training and running sneakers over the past two years. One pair from Nordstrom Rack for about $100 and another from a specialty running store. I love the alternative to mainstream show brands and especially like that the toe boxes of these sneakers are not overly narrow or wide, they seem to fit my 6.5 size just right. I mostly used the sneakers for tread and outdoor running of short distances and another pair for OrangeTheory circuit workouts. After exercising I found my feet do not ache and the shoe is able flex and breath. I love how expansive the brand has gotten with the many SKUs of shoes, though sometimes it's overwhelming to differentiate the products. It's also a undeniable and noticeable brand if you ever go to the airport, there's got to be at least 10% of the people wearing On Running. I'll continue to be curious about the brand and purchase footware that fits my workout needs and foot anatomy.
I do not love these! I actually don’t get the hype about these at all, I find a comparable brand MUCH better but my husband loves these and has multiple pairs.
MY. FAVORITE. SNEAKERS. EVER. Actually the BEST support; super comfy for working out in general. I wear them to F45 classes.

Pretty comfy shoe but for a walker its not very fashionable if you aren't wearing athlesiure. also rocks love to get stuck in em
My favorite sneakers. When you first buy, you feel like you’re walking on air and get a good bounce.
I had high hopes for my On Cloud sneakers, but they fell a bit short of my expectations. While the design is sleek and they’re incredibly lightweight, I found the comfort level lacking, especially for longer wear. The cushioning wasn’t as supportive as I’d hoped, and after a few hours, my feet felt a bit sore. They seem well-suited for short, casual activities but didn’t hold up as well for longer walks or runs. They’re stylish and breathable, but for the price, I was expecting a more comfortable experience overall.
I bought into the hype. I LOVE my On Clouds - they are so bouncy, never had a shoe like it!
Looks good and feels good
Nice sneakers. functional cute and great quality
Love everything about the shoes except that the laces never stay tied. Tighten the laces before you go and you will love these shoes.

It's been a hit and miss. I own at least 10 pairs on On in the past 4 years. I find that I love their Max cushion the most. It's definitely worth the price. I wear these shoes most days and change them around every 3-4 months. Other styles lose their cushions very fast. Since they don't have a store in my city, I love that they offer free returns on their site.
I have a pair of Cloudmonster sneakers and I do really like them! A lot of people seem to have issues with tying/lacing them, but I haven't personally had any problem in that area. I walk pretty much everywhere so I really love the cushioned bounce that the Cloudmonsters provide.

Really good shoes. Quality is great, and they are incredibly comfortable for both walking and running. Just a note, size up if you are buying the waterproof ones.
Okay, hear me out. I broke my leg while wearing these. Now why the five stars you may ask. Because I didn't break both legs wearing these. No for real -- the stability and support of these prevented my accident from being so much worse than it should've been. I begged the EMTs not to cut these off of me. I will buy so many more pairs. They do pick up rocks on the bottom. Small price to pay for looking cool and being safe.

I love On’s shoes and athletic wear! Although more expensive, the fit and wear on their running shoes has been great. I will continue to purchase On shoes (when I find them on sale).
I wear these daily. I have a few of the slip on and off design -- normally not a fan of elastic shoe laces, but the ease after yoga class or running out the door on errands is so nice. They are also great for long walks and the waterproof models are truly waterproof for Seattle springs. I get compliments from kids and adults on em, and the colors are better than a lot of colorways for running/walking shoes. Neutrals that map to regular wardrobe colors vs. workout wardrobe colors.

I love my on clouds! I got the cloudnova shoe and they are so comfy. They aren't amazing for running in, but I have no issues walking long distances in them. They also clean nicely - I got the white and I put them in the washer and they come out bright white again.

The laces could be thinner or a different material, mine come untied a lot even when double knotted.
live in my clouds - soooooo comfortable
I really love the design and innovation behind On Running and was really excited to try their shoes. They were a bit heavier than I was expecting but the real problem came with running on gravel, little pebbles get stuck in the "pods"
Feedback
I kind of want to try out the new trail version that seems better protected against gravel getting stuck in the shoe but would love to see a new road shoe with a similar design.

Had the On 5's. They wore out very quickly - within 2 months of light running and walking. Great for everyday wear, but they simply don't last.
