On Running earns polarized reviews: many say the shoes are comfortable, lightweight, and cushioned enough for walking, everyday wear, and even long races, while others report inconsistent support for running, half‑size‑small fits, and durability issues like heel and mesh tearing. Reviews praise styles like Cloud 5, Cloudmonster, Cloudrunner, and The Roger for sleek looks and versatile comfort, but flag pebble‑catching soles, flimsy or fussy laces, traction concerns on wet metal, and widely criticized customer service.

  • Have a pair of hiking boots from the first Loewe collab and they are great! Fit true to size and (miraculously) did not give me any blisters.

  • Just ordered cloud nova in navy - they are so cool and comfortable! Already getting lots of compliments

  • Love. These. Shoes. For outdoor running, long walks…nothing better. Truly. To be clear, they are not intended to be used for treadmill work so for that I still use ASICS.

Maybe one style with more ankle support

  • I haven't totally hopped on board here... I feel like they look cute on everyone but me. And rocks get stuck in them every time I walk, and I don't feel like they are great for me PERSONALLY on runs. But they are comfortable for day to day walking and dog walking and perhaps I just got a color way that isn't best for me. I probably wont buy another pair soon, but they get the job done!

  • SO comfy! I love my on clouds. They're cushiony and light, and I can walk for hours and hours when I have these on. They also have fantastic customer service — my brother's were slightly defective and they replaced them so quickly. I can't wait to get my next pair!

  • Pretty underwhelming shoes — not enough cushion/support for running outdoors. I got shin splints pretty quickly, even when using a bouncy treadmill. I like my shoes for weightlifting but they’re impractical for anything involving cardio

  • Comfy but the laces took me some time to get used to, and it's definitely taking me some time to break it in so it fits comfortably. When I first started wearing them, they pressed against the back of my foot awkwardly and irritated my skin after long walks (but I think that was just an issue of breaking them in). The quality of the cushioning is incredible though - really great for outdoors.

  • I have one pair that fits great they are comfy and stylish. And I have one pair that I hate. They fit but are uncomfortable. I would say sizing wise is true to size but like all shoe brands the difference between shoes will likely work for some but the firmness of the cloudrift pair was not meant for me.

  • EDIT: Moved rating from 3 stars to 2 stars, because I literally avoid wearing these in favor of Hokas, which I bought at a later time. The hard edges on the ankles became too much for me, and they are just not cushy at all (which is what I'm looking for to support my knees). Original review below. I'm happy with the pair of shoes I have from them (Cloud X in Midnight | Heron), but it was kind of a journey to get them. Pros: supportive, cute, overall comfortable. Solid shoes for basically any activity. Cons: the edges are kind of hard, so if my ankles pronate or supinate at all, it digs into the side of my ankles and hurts. Ran big, so I needed to return and size down. Pebbles easily get stuck in the soles (which you at least can't feel, so that's a win).

Might be better buying these at a retailer instead of online ordering? I think these are solid shoes, truly, but nothing that makes me want to commit to buying from this brand forever. My replacement size package was stolen, so when I reached out to customer service, they opened up an investigation with the carrier, and said it would take 72 hours. They didn't follow up after 72 hours, so I reached out, and they confirmed the investigation was concluded and that they'd ship my replacement order and send me a confirmation email with the new shipment info. They never sent that shipment info, so I'm really glad that my husband just happened to be home when it was delivered out of the blue. I'm glad customer service was responsive when I initiated the inquiries, but they just weren't very proactive.

  • I’ve had genuine FOMO from not owning a pair of these sneakers. I actually found a brand new pair of On Clouds at a local thrift store and I couldn’t have grabbed them and purchased them any faster. Since the new year began I have been wanting to be more active and get more movement in my daily routine (when I’m not out shooting, doing editing + other computer work has me in a sedentary rut). My walks are now something I genuinely enjoy and I love how these shoes genuinely make me feel like I'm walking on nothing; even on super high inclines, I don't feel sore the next day the way I would find myself feeling when I’d wear my other running sneakers.

  • RUN, don't walk to get a pair of Cloudrunner - incredibly comfy and not too much show when you are chugging through miles. Appreciate the extra ankle padding and a bit wider footbed.

Size up and be sure to try on a variety of their style range - not every style is created equally and I had to explore a bit before I found the perfect fit.

  • I wear these to exercise in my apartment and for walking around outside. The tongue somehow cuts my leg due to the material so I opt not to wear them too often. Other than that, they are very comfortable - I probably should purchase a different style :/

  • I've had a couple of different pairs of On shoes, and also own a pair of their running 7/8 length leggings. Their shoes don't work for me as a runner, but I love my pair of Clouds for walking around the city, and the leggings I have from them are really thoughtfully designed as far as pocket needs go.

  • They are comfy but definitely more of a feel the ground shoe. I like to use as a quick slip on when running errands or walking the dog

  • the easiest to put on, most comfortable to bounce in sneakers. My only drawback was I couldn't hunt down a wide enough version to have them feel comfortable for the long haul.

  • I love my cloudmonsters. Many good colorways. Lots of cushion for long runs and standing in general. They do get dirty very quickly but can be washed to good effect.

  • I really like my On Running sneakers- but I go through them fairly quickly. I wear them almost daily so maybe it's fair that they start to get worn out? Generally they're very comfortable and I like the styles they offer. I will definitely be repurchasing my 3rd pair soon
