On Running earns polarized reviews: many say the shoes are comfortable, lightweight, and cushioned enough for walking, everyday wear, and even long races, while others report inconsistent support for running, half‑size‑small fits, and durability issues like heel and mesh tearing. Reviews praise styles like Cloud 5, Cloudmonster, Cloudrunner, and The Roger for sleek looks and versatile comfort, but flag pebble‑catching soles, flimsy or fussy laces, traction concerns on wet metal, and widely criticized customer service.

  • It is a comfortable, light, soft shoe for walking, its insole is padded for better comfort in the foot. Its design is very beautiful and the foot stays cool inside. They could include a couple of extra lanes.

  • They are comfortable and light, the foot transpires with this shoe, they have good cushioning and come in very beautiful colors. I would improve a little more padded the insole for better support to the foot.

  • Confortable, lightweight, yet you’ll feel a bit funky walking in them but overall if you stand for long periods of time or you’re a professional runner they are perfect!

  • Comfortable and stylish. Poor quality. I have many running shoes and I wear there infrequently and for casual use, not running maybe once a week use at most and they are falling apart after 12 months.. Disappointed. I expect much more for the price.

  • This is my second pair of on running shoes. The first I sold as the sizing was abit weird and I felt like was bunching my toes. I like the elastic laces on my current pair though it did make the shoes really tight on the top of my foot to start (they have since loosened up). I wear these for HITT classes and as they have some good cushioning they work great for this style of exercise.

  • I love these sneakers! They are so comfy, like walking on clouds! I also love the colors, it’s my favorite blues and grays. I would buy these in a few colors and combinations. I got them at Nordstrom rack.

  • hike, going to gym, running, no matter what activities you prefer to do - On Running is the best pair of. sneakers that you would not even feel, simple but cool designs are amazing. i had multiple pairs already

  • Depois que comprei meu primeiro tênis da On nunca mais consegui usar outra marca para esportes e atividades físicas, pra mim não tem comparação com nenhuma outra marca em relação a qualidade, conforto e tecnologia.

  • I have purchased 3 pairs of sneakers from them for running. While I have run distances up to 11 miles in them I would not recommend it since I got many blisters and were in pain. They are great for walking around and training/exercise classes.

I would make it more supportive for distance running but they are a great training shoe!

  • I love my On Running shoes— and typically rotate between them and a pair of New Balance. The cushioning on the ON Running pair is a standout, and great for easy-to-mid runs. I have on occasion worn them for longer runs, but prefer to save those to rare instances given the concern I have for durability. I think ON as a brand is pretty good, but, definitely on the pricier end. That said, the shoes look great + feel great for when you do wear them so I think its worth it.

  • On Running shoes are seriously next-level for comfort and style. They feel super lightweight but still offer great support, whether I’m running errands or hitting the gym. The cushioned sole makes every step feel like a cloud, and the sleek design means I can wear them anywhere. Definitely my favorite for all-day wear.

  • I like my Cloud Novas and CloudMonsters best. The older style did not give much support and also seemed to wear down quicker. The quality is mediocre for the older styles but I think it has gotten better. I’ve had the CloudMonsters for a while and they are doing pretty good . Most of them are easy to clean.

  • I will probably never use another shoe for athleisure, workouts, running, hiking, etc. I have been through hundreds of athletic shoes and these are the best for durability, longevity, style, and function. They're comfortable from day 1, and they are continuously producing new styles to stay current and interesting while improving their product.

Get these shoes, you will not be disappointed. Consider sizing up .5 size

  • I bought 3 pairs when ON was running ads on podcasts primarily. It seems like they have fixed the issue of the rear ankle support disintegrating. The looks have come a long way now they are available in retail stores. The original bubble soles were a nightmare after I stepped in something nasty on a walk. 😬 i tried the all leather Roger style but eventually went with RYKA as my go to. I resold all 5 pairs I owned eventually. I might give the new styles a try but my experience with the previous materials they were using that cracked & tore so easily makes me pause especially at the price point.

  • I bought my first pair of Cloud 5 shoes and I am loving them. I use them more for everyday wear as opposed to working out but I purchased the pearl color and love them. So comfortable and perfect if you’re out and about.

  • I have been wearing the On Cloud Running shoes for about a year now. They are really versatile, as I can wear them walking or with jeans out for the day. I love the way they look but unfortunately don’t love the way they function. My main issue is the sole of the shoe has lots of holes. Holes that end up filled with small pebbles and rocks during my walks. I end up having to stop every 100 metres or so to flick pebbles out of the bottom. I suppose if you’re strictly walking on asphalt and not trails like me they would be a good fit.

Tiny rocks, embedded in the soles all the time.

  • I used to try out different running shoes from various brands, but then the owner of a small running shoe store in North Vancouver suggested that I try a pair from ON. To date, I've purchased four pairs of ON running shoes over the past 4-5 years & one pair of socks. I was so happy with my first pair, that I no longer even consider shopping other brand's. I really like their Cloudflow runner because it's very lightweight & they offer two sizes: Cloudflow (Wide) and Cloudflow (Regular). My favourite runner for workouts at the gym was their Cloudswift Edge Prism, because they were super comfortable AND the fabric was out of this world level epic, but it was limited edition. Their Cloudflyer is a bit heavier, but good for running on the road. I thought that I would be okay purchasing 'regular width' in the Cloudflow because I purchased regular width in the Cloudswift and Cloudflyer, but I've been finding the Cloudflow (Regular) to be a bit too tight, so in the future, I will repurchase the Cloudflow in Wide. I was slightly disappointed with their socks, simply because the logo fell off after the very first wash. However, the socks are comfy & when I reached out to ON to let them know, their AI robot told me that they offer warranty for their products. I followed the robot's instructions regarding the warranty claim & their human customer service agent, Bryan, literally responded within an hour & resolved the issue with the socks. ON is by far my favourite shoe brand.

I wish the Cloudflow Wide running shoe was offered in more colours & that the Cloudswift Edge Prism comes back in Size 6 in the future. I also wish that you made basketball shoes as well. I will probably end up purchasing the Rodger tennis shoes to wear at basketball when covid is over.

  • I love the weight of my ON Cloud X sneakers: they are the lightest sneaker I own by a long shot. They also stay tied, which may seem like a small, unimportant factor but a shoe that stays tied without having to be double knotted is a win in my book. I do think they are a bit overpriced but all running shoes are, so I didn’t let that influence my review. I did four stars because I think the back of the shoe, where it rests on your achilles, could have a bit more cushion.

More sizes readily available on the websites and through the stores they stock with!

  • I have only worn OC for about 4 years now & haven’t bought any other brand since the first pair I purchased!! They are the lightest, most comfortable & best colors of any shoe out there!! I have neuropathy in my feet & since I’ve switched to OC it doesn’t flare up anymore. But heaven forbid if I wear an old pair of Asics or something (to paint in) and the neuropathy flares up right away. I wear them at work (construction) so I’m on my feet all day & I do CrossFit in them (which is demanding with running) and they’ve never let me down or worn out, even being washed constantly! Cant say enough good things about this brand!! Worth the money!

  • I bought a pair of On Running shoes for work - I work in the Emergency Department as a nurse.I had heard great things about their shoes and I would agree that they are excellent shoes. Lightweight yet supportive and very aesthetically pleasing. I do find that being on my feet 12 hours a day, my feet are quite achy by the end of the day but I don't think that has anything to do with the shoes. I have also used them as running shoes and loved them. Definitely 10/10

I don't think they could've been designed any better. Both lightweight and comfortable. They meet the purpose of their design and feel great to wear. Love On Running shoes!
