  • The Loftie alarm clock has significantly improved my sleep hygiene. It's a low, gently light that allows me to get around without bumping into anything but doesn't disturb my sleep cycle.

  • Loftie is a fantastic smart alarm clock that’s a game-changer for anyone looking to improve their sleep routine. The design is sleek and calming, and the features are spot-on for a more peaceful wake-up. What stands out is its ability to help you wind down before bed—offering guided breathing exercises, relaxing sounds, and a night mode with no blue light. The gradual alarm feature gently wakes you up, which feels much less jarring than a traditional alarm clock. It’s a great combination of style and functionality that helps create a more restful, mindful sleep experience. Perfect for anyone looking to upgrade their bedtime routine!

  • I don’t have the loftie, but my sister does and we live together. I’m the nicest way possible, this alarm clock is horrible. It goes off all the time, she says she has an app that never works. It makes random sounds that go off. I personally thought it was operator error, but it isn’t. No matter what time she sets it still goes off randomly throughout the week. And it’s not like it’s “oh it goes off randomly every Wednesday at 10” it’s like random days and random times with random sounds. It’s a bit annoying when I work from home and I am in a meeting and it turns on and I can hear it from my office. She also has to still set her phone alarm which defeats the purpose of the Loftie. I’m sorry, but I do not recommend.

  • Love my Loftie... helps me be better about leaving my phone in another room to focus on better sleep

  • I have the alarm clock, which I bought in the brand's initial kickstarter and love it - when it works. The product requires an app for updates (which is a bit annoying IMO given the brand's stated desire is to reduce reliance on phones in the bedroom). Updates take FOREVER to install and the install process is very glitchy, works about 50 percent of the time max. More than once the alarm I have set, which is supposed to be a bird noise/nature scape sound, has played a really horrible grinding/feedback noise instead (which I assume is due to a misinstalled software update or a missing sound file). When it DOES work, however, the product is really nice. The sunlight alarm feature is great, especially living up north in the winter months, and the white noise machine is a really lovely touch that genuinely helps me fall asleep. The alarm works well as an overall sleep aid - just wish there were not so many glitches and bugs. It makes it harder to use regularly when it's so frustrating to deal with the product's issues.

  • Easy to use. It helped me stop using my smartphone as an alarm.

I would like more sounds for alarms--there are literally only 4 different alarm sounds. But there are a dozen sounds in the soundbaths section but you can't actually wake up to them.

  • I love my sunrise lamp! It has been such a game changer for those early dark winter mornings. I also love to read by the red light setting at night. Looking at purchasing the alarm clock soon to see how the whole system functions together.

  • The lamp takes 10-15 mins to set up every time you either unplug or your electricity goes out. I think for this to work the way it should you have to also have the the clock. So for around $700 you can wake up the same you would any other day

  • Love my Loftie — it's so chic on my bedside table and really like the different features. It definitely helps me chill out! Love the classical music etc.

I wish users could download meditations and music onto the Loftie as the selection of meditations is extremely small and in my view, unsatisfactory. I appreciate that it connects via Bluetooth to your phone, but this isn't that helpful given the goal of a Loftie is to leave your phone outside of your room!

  • Wanted to love this product but sadly it was defective. First model randomly shut off in the middle night and I was almost late for work. Got a replacement loftie and had the same problem as well (both devices were always plugged in using an outlet that has never had issues and had back up batteries). The app does not always sync with the device so that even if your alarm shows correctly on the app, it may not register on the physical device. The breathing/relaxation soundtrack has a lot of volume variability that makes it hard to fall asleep (the narrator's very loud voice will startle you awake as you're trying to relax during the more quiet moments). For the price, you should also have the option to connect via bluebooth to use this as a speaker (for example, listen to podcasts in bed).

Loved the idea of this product and even gave it twp chances with two difference devices but it seems like this product was released before more adequate bug/reliability testing could be performed. At least returns were relatively easy.

  • I was really excited for my Loftie because I think it's a great idea. Then, not just once, but twice I got defective Lofties that at random points during the day would make noises that sounded like mini explosions. The first time it happened I almost jumped out of my chair it startled me so much. It also did it during the night and woke me up several times.

I think I just got really unlucky, but either way, something needs to get fixed with their manufacturing process.

  • I have the Loftie Alarm Clock. I loved the way it looked -- it is simple, sleek, and attractive. However, it does not feel expensive when you touch it (imagine just a plastic casing). For the price that was paid, I would expect better construction. I have had this alarm clock for over 1 year now, so there have been multiple app updates. The app could be way better, it often does not work or it takes awhile to update. I got this alarm clock to stop using my phone for alarms and be more present in mornings, but I will admit now it has become more of an aesthetic clock that I don't use for alarms.

  • I love this alarm clock, my only complaint is that sometimes my phone doesn’t connect to it, and I can’t sync the alarm. Other than that, it’s made beautifully, and my partner agrees that waking up to it is a much better experience than any standard alarm clock.

  • I love this clock so much it was the first thing I retrieved after my apartment had a fire, thankfully only with a tiny scratch! I think it does a good job for me now but would wish, like others, that the light could turn on in the morning with the alarm as well—I hope that's an update to come. I love the library of white noise and the amount of personalization options it has for volume and alarm tones. I can't live without it!

  • I have loved my Loftie for the past year or so. I use it every night for the white noise and sleep so soundly with it. The only problem is I started having some issues several month ago with the alarm not going off, so I couldn't rely on it as much. They may have done several updates since then so this issue is resolved, but I didn't love that I ran into this problem.

It'd be great if we didn't have to manually update software updates for the alarm in case we miss an email of updates

  • Cannot live without this clock - literally travel with it. I MUST sleep with white noise and I love that this clock can serve as both a nightlight, clock, white noise, alarm, etc. Amazing customer service when my first one broke.

  • I've been using my Loftie alarm clock for a few months now. I'm currently abroad and away from it, and I notice a few differences from being away from it. The convenience of having such a comprehensive sleep system wrapped into one device has been greatly missed. My phone alarm is not as soothing, despite not using one of the traditional alarm ringtones. Loftie was great and reminding me to put my phone away, and I do genuinely believe that it helped improve my sleeping habits and quality overall.

    Feedback

The only issue I have is that the app is slow and it's usually more convenient to set the alarm by going through the scroll list using the buttons manually than waiting for the app and clock to sync. Another concern is with wifi. Because it is a wifi based clock system, I worry that if the wifi goes out that the alarm will not go off (I had this happen to me once, and I'm not sure if it is due to wifi issues) It is not reassuring at all to have to set up a backup alarm on my phone to guarantee that I will wake up on time. I hope they install some sort of backup mechanism that doesn't solely rely on wifi in the chance something goes down and you are left with a very expensive alarm clock that doesn't fulfill its main purpose.

  • I really wanted to like this thing, as I think it looks really cool and I like the concept of a phoneless alarm clock that's still smart and has good wind-down features. However, it's just too buggy and frustrating in use, and support didn't help anything.

    Feedback

The display doesn't have an ambient light sensor/auto-brightness like every phone ever, so during the night it's far too bright, OR if you set it to be dim during the night, it's impossible to see during the day. Pretty important for a clock to be readable. The app is super glitchy and slow, and I constantly would set an alarm in the app, think it worked, and then realize it didn't "push" the new update to the alarm clock. To me, that's unacceptable. To not work as an alarm clock means I can't trust it. Finally, the sounds built-in are generally good, but they crackle and skip sometimes, which wakes me up because I fell asleep to brown noise (it's like white noise but better) and the crackling breaks my relaxation.

  • I have had the same alarm clock for years and Loftie was a great upgrade. I was a little concerned it would be hard to set up or use but it wasn't. The design is sleek and the features are wonderful. I have changed my alarm sounds weekly and love them all.

  • Pretty bad customer service experience. They only sent me part of my order and it took weeks, 4 emails, and an Instagram DM before I was able to get help.
