I have the Loftie Alarm Clock. I loved the way it looked -- it is simple, sleek, and attractive. However, it does not feel expensive when you touch it (imagine just a plastic casing). For the price that was paid, I would expect better construction. I have had this alarm clock for over 1 year now, so there have been multiple app updates. The app could be way better, it often does not work or it takes awhile to update. I got this alarm clock to stop using my phone for alarms and be more present in mornings, but I will admit now it has become more of an aesthetic clock that I don't use for alarms. 

I have the alarm clock, which I bought in the brand's initial kickstarter and love it - when it works. The product requires an app for updates (which is a bit annoying IMO given the brand's stated desire is to reduce reliance on phones in the bedroom). Updates take FOREVER to install and the install process is very glitchy, works about 50 percent of the time max. More than once the alarm I have set, which is supposed to be a bird noise/nature scape sound, has played a really horrible grinding/feedback noise instead (which I assume is due to a misinstalled software update or a missing sound file).

When it DOES work, however, the product is really nice. The sunlight alarm feature is great, especially living up north in the winter months, and the white noise machine is a really lovely touch that genuinely helps me fall asleep. 

The alarm works well as an overall sleep aid - just wish there were not so many glitches and bugs. It makes it harder to use regularly when it's so frustrating to deal with the product's issues. 

It's an okay clock, but not really worth the money. The nightlight feature is pretty weak and if your wifi goes out, then so does your clock. Additionally, its froze on us a few times which is really annoying. The best feature is having the sound machine function.

I really love the style and look of this lamp and clock. My main issue is that I can't use smart bulbs with it. It doesn't function with Loftie's system. So I can't tell Google to turn off my light, I have to do it on my phone.

My Loftie alarm is excellent! I wake up to sound bowls every morning. I love the way there are many different sounds to choose from. 

The lamp takes 10-15 mins to set up every time you either unplug or your electricity goes out. I think for this to work the way it should you have to also have the the clock. So for around $700 you can wake up the same you would any other day 

I was initially excited about Lottie because of its positive reviews and unique features. However, after using it for a while, I found that it fell short of my expectations. I give Lottie a 3 out of 5 star rating because it has some potential, but it needs to be improved in several areas.

Affordable: Lottie is priced competitively compared to similar products.
 
Lottie's functionality is somewhat limited. It does not have as many features as some other products, and it can be frustrating to use at times.
Lottie has the potential to be a great product, but it needs to be improved in several areas. I would recommend it to people who are looking for a basic product with a unique design, but I would not recommend it to people who need a product with a lot of features.


I ordered both the Loftie lamp and the alarm clock. I really enjoy both products. The lamp has a great red light to use before bed. The alarm clock has many white noise options for sleeping! I use the setting buttons on the actual devices instead of my phone because I found the app to be a bit glitchy!

I love my Loftie smart clock! It's so powerful for such a small device. You can change the lighting situation, the sounds, play different types of sounds and music, set sleep timers and wake up alarms. Truly does everything you need for quality sleep.

My Loftie died after five weeks and Loftie refused to ship a replacement out to me despite recognising that they had shipped a faulty unit. I had to get my money back via Amazon. Useless company.
