Reviews mention

  • High-protein, plant-based nutrition
  • Flavorful, umami-rich broths
  • Convenient, quick preparation
  • Versatile base for add-ins
  • Rubbery, grainy noodle texture
  • Inconsistent, bland broths
  • Very salty soup bases
  • Small, skimpy portions

immi earns polarized reviews: many praise the plant‑based ramen for satisfying, high‑protein, low‑carb comfort with flavorful broths like Black Garlic “Chicken,” Spicy “Beef,” and Tom Yum, while a substantial number say it isn’t good because the noodles taste rubbery or grainy and the soups can be bland or overly salty. Reviews indicate it works well as a healthy base with add‑ins and easy prep, but texture inconsistencies, small portions, and flavor balance hold it back.

  • I did not love the texture of this Ramen. The flavor was fine, but I couldn't bring myself to eat all of it. I will not repurchase this product. It was easy to find in the store and it was also very easy to make.

  • Not super impressed. Flavor was not a great sub-in for meat options on the market. Interesting to try but not very happy with the overall flavor. Probably more targeted towards vegan/vegetarian consumers.

  • After shipping and tax, these noodles come out to about $8/ pack. They are problem worth $3 at the most. Save your money, just not good enough value.

  • The noodles are tougher than al dente, and I like that they're higher in protein, but there is a good amount of fat to tag along. Likewise, there isn't a ton of flavor. This cup version has much more flavor than the bagged versions, but it could still use more.

  • I recently tried Immi instant ramen, and I’m seriously impressed. It’s low-carb, plant-based, and packed with protein — perfect for when I want comfort food without the guilt. The noodles have a great texture, not mushy like typical instant ramen, and the broth is full of flavor. I love that it keeps me full and energized, unlike regular ramen that leaves me feeling bloated. Plus, it’s so quick to make! It’s become my go-to meal when I need something fast, healthy, and satisfying. Definitely a game-changer for noodle lovers watching their carbs!

  • I love ramen noodles but I usually shy away from them because of the salt and carbs so I jumped on ordering from Immi, because I loved the idea of plant-based, vegetarian-friendly, low carb and lower sodium ramen. I tried the "creamy chicken" flavor and I thought it wasn't bad. They aren't the best ramen I've ever had (they aren't traditional noodles, after all) but, overall, I liked them. I also purchased some of their "tom yum shrimp" flavor and will be trying them next. I wouldn't mind purchasing these again but at $6.00 a package, it's a little steep for ramen. I will add that I overcooked the noodles (the package suggested 6-8 minutes) and I let them cook for 10 minutes and I liked the texture better than if I had followed the cooking directions to the dot.

  • Immi noodles are a game-changer for healthy, flavorful ramen! The texture is perfect, and the broth has a rich, satisfying taste without being too salty. With low carbs and high protein, they’re a great option for anyone looking for a healthier noodle alternative. The flavors are bold and delicious, making it easy to enjoy a quick meal that doesn’t compromise on taste. I’m hooked!

  • Immi products are not bad but they are really only good because they are healthier. I don’t think someone who is not health conscious would ever choose to reach for them. I however will keep reaching for them because I am a plant based lazy girl that needs quick convenient options that keep me full while helping me to get enough protein.

  • I was excited to try these, but the texture of the noodles is hard to get over- it's extremely grainy. The flavor is good (albeit simple). I would try these again if they modified their noodle recipe, as I like the intent behind these!

  • This was lacking in flavor. I had to add soy sauce and siracha to make it taste better. I wouldn’t buy again.

  • Tasty and obviously the new noodles are notably protein packed. It is quite expensive and not really what I’m looking for in a noodle.

  • I wanted to love this- I love the idea, but each time I tried it my tummy was super gassy and distended for hours afterwards.YMMV so give it a try…

  • These noodles take a lot longer to cook but would still have a bouncy texture due to high amount of protein. All flavors are bland to me. I wish they weren't so expensive. I'd rather buy bulk noodles alone without seasonings. ****UPDATED REVIEW OF THE CREAMY CHICKEN NOODLE CUP**** Love the improvements, it went from a 3 to a 9.99/10! but still missing 0.01 dash of salt! The texture of the noodle couldn't have been better, it's slightly thinner and way softer comparable to regular wheat noodle! It no longer has rubber and stringy texture or the pumpkin forward notes. They also reduce the cook time by 50%. I fill my noodle cup with hot water and put in the microwave in 1 min (30 sec interval to avoid overflowing) and let sit for 1 min. For someone who's health conscious and struggles with insulin resistance, this saves my life! I'm an official Immigirl :)

  • I tried the Garlic Chicken. Broth was tasty but not crazy flavorful. I liked that it seemed to be low in salt. The noodles were fine, definitely not comparable to what I've had in restaurants. I did add a soft boiled egg and green onions, because with out some toppings its pretty boring to look at. Nutritional profile seems great, but on the pricier side.

  • i really appreciate the fact that its low-carb and plant-based! i'm an instant noodle monster so these were really fun to try. the broth is great but the noodles are bland. i tried cooking the noodles in broth instead of adding the soup base afterwards and it turned out better!

it takes 7 minutes to cook!! that is kinda long for "instant" noodles for me :( and at nearly $7 a pouch, I'm not sure I'd repurchase again.

  • I tried the Black Garlic Chicken flavor and really enjoyed it. The texture of the noodles is rather "al dente" compared to your average Cup of Noodles, but I actually preferred it like that. The broth was bland--I admittedly added quite a bit of salt. To be fair, a healthier ramen option should probably taste less salty than your standard instant noodle packet with a day's worth of sodium. It's expensive, yes. However, I'd rather spend the extra money on instant noodles that don't make me regret eating them afterwards.

  • unfortunately not very good. The noodles tasted weird and made me very gassy. The broth was good though.

  • My biggest complaint is the texture of the noodles. I think the flavor is ok. But I prefer many other ramens to this one. I love they are plant based though.
