Reviews mention

  • High-protein, plant-based nutrition
  • Flavorful, umami-rich broths
  • Convenient, quick preparation
  • Versatile base for add-ins
  • Rubbery, grainy noodle texture
  • Inconsistent, bland broths
  • Very salty soup bases
  • Small, skimpy portions

immi earns polarized reviews: many praise the plant‑based ramen for satisfying, high‑protein, low‑carb comfort with flavorful broths like Black Garlic “Chicken,” Spicy “Beef,” and Tom Yum, while a substantial number say it isn’t good because the noodles taste rubbery or grainy and the soups can be bland or overly salty. Reviews indicate it works well as a healthy base with add‑ins and easy prep, but texture inconsistencies, small portions, and flavor balance hold it back.

  • Not sure if I like the texture of the noodles. They were kind of grainy and thin. Also the overall taste of the broth was kind of acidic? Not what I’m used to

  • Overall, this is a high protein, high fiber ramen noodle. I could care less for the flavor packets. I bought the Immi product again, tossed the flavor packets and used my own broth to make ramen, pho, or Thai version of Tom Yum soup with these noodles, tofu, and vegetables. It tasted so much better with this hack.

  • I loved this ramen. The flavors were fantastic. The noodles were a slightly different texture than typical instant ramen, but I still enjoyed it. Immi works best as a base that you add to and improve. My simple go to is a little bit of miso paste, siriacha, and an egg.

  • I like that this is an easy vegan meal and that it’s high protein - nice to be able to have a comfort food like ramen and still get a serving of protein in. Taste/texture wise, it was okay. The broth tasted like a standard imitation chicken broth (I tried the chicken and black garlic). It was solid but pretty one note. The noodles weren’t terrible, but were a little chalky and not as smooth as a traditional noodle. Overall, fun to try but probably won’t become a staple.

  • Love the product, love that it’s plant-based, don’t love love that it’s now $9 per package at Whole Foods. I’m so excited about the distribution, but personally don’t want to pay more than $6 max for a single instant ramen serving.

  • I have been trying a few different high-protein ramen noodles and unfortunately, this one left me wanting something more. I bought the variety pack, so I've tried all three flavors. Of the three, the Tom Yum is my favorite. It really does smell like the real thing and brought me back to my time in Thailand. In fact, all three smell INCREDIBLE, which is what made me really excited. But I felt like they weren't as salty or as flavorful as I was expecting. The chewiness of the noodles was also a little off. I tried boiling them for different amounts of times but couldn't find a happy medium that worked for me. Like I said, I was left wanting some thing a little more. I haven't tried dressing them up with toppings or vegetables so maybe that would help. These are a like, not a love. I probably will repurchase though because of the nutrition compared to regular ramen. I like having them in a pinch.

  • I think that this brand is doing its best to add a gourmet note to what is known as pretty much the cheapest and easiest meal, Ramen. The spices and seasonings are really nice, but you just replicate The role of fresh vegetables, and acid

  • I made this for myself, husband and teen son. My teen son and husband asked what the “worms” were on their plate. I told them it’s a healthier version of ramen noodles and I paid much more. The taste was edible but I won’t repurchase.

  • My cousin absolutely loved them!! Personally, the only thing I would improve is try to add a little more noodles for the price because the price is objectively high for such a small amount of noodles.

  • Not sure how I felt about the Immi ramen. They were a bit hard when eaten. They were okey to eat. Easy to make and much better than other ramen noodles on the market. However way too expensive.

  • This ramen brand may be low-carb, plant-based, and high protein, but it’s still surprisingly high in saturated fat. While a bag is calorically much better than a regular bag of ramen, it’s by no means a health food… and for about $6/bag, I feel like it should be. The taste is fine, but the texture is not quite the same as regular ramen (not that I really expected it to be). Even though it’s not flavored, I find that Halo Ramen tastes much better and is way lower in saturated fat.

  • Just tried immi’s instant ramen, and it's a healthy dream come true! Low-carb, high-protein, and totally delicious. The flavors are rich and comforting, and it’s perfect for a quick, guilt-free meal. If you love ramen but want a nutritious twist, immi is your new best friend!

  • As a vegetarian, I often miss out on the instant ramen experience-- I loved that this was a way to indulge in that, and get a little protein doing it! The noodles aren't perfect but they're pretty good!

  • It tasted a bit like cardboard and was bit harder then I expected even though I follow the directions

  • Quite delicious if you're trying to do low carb, these are the closest to noodles I've tried. The portions are a bit small, and they need some extra seasoning, but theyre really good as a base.

  • The flavors of each ramen packet are so delicious.

The texture of the noodles are very different than a traditional ramen. It’s just something to consider when you buy.

  • As someone trying to eat healthier without giving up comfort foods, I was excited to try them. But they turned out a bit hard to chew and the broth is a little bland. But after adding some protein and more seasoning, it didn't taste that bad. It’s a bit pricier than usual instant noodles, but has a lot of protein in each pack.

  • Of all the ramen brands I have ever tried, I liked the taste and texture of this one the least. I wanted to like it as a vegan option with healthier ingredients and better nutritional value, but I simply can’t get past the texture.

  • got these sent to me and honestly did not even realize until afterwards that apparently it's low carb and plant based which you truly would not even know upon eating it. good flavor and texture and not like cardboard as some low carb stuff does
