  • Such a cool product! I was worried they wouldn’t fit my face but it fits great. I really notice a difference when I put this mask on over hydrating products. Single use masks feel overly precious and wasteful. This mask has the same effect of a regular sheet mask but you can use it with a bigger variety of products without the waste!

I’d love an easier way to store the mask when not in use—the bag it comes in isn’t great especially after washing it after use!

  • Ok, I was skeptical about this at first and it sat on my counter for a while. But this is a great product! I'm petite, so the small size fit my face perfectly, and the ear loops were very comfortable. What I really like is that unlike regular disposable sheet masks, the only side with any type of liquid is the side that touches your face, so I can keep my glasses on and do other things while I have the mask on. There's no mess and it's super easy to clean when you're done. I think this would be a great gift for friends who are into beauty/skincare products.

  • Really love this product. For those of us who loves sheet masks, but are tired of the waste it creates, this is a lifesaver. I found that it functions exactly as advertised - the only issue is that it doesn't perfectly lay flat, but that could be user error. I'll keep trying!

  • Buy this brand rn. The Super Satty is so hydrating and a great texture. Buffer Jelly is the perfect consistency. Those + the Avant Guard = perfect skincare routine

  • I am such a huge fan of experiment after trying this thing drop! The packaging is super fun and it will definitely stand out on your shelf, but most importantly, it’s incredibly efficacious. It’s like a mix of an oil and Vaseline and it’s really great for people who don’t like the idea of slugging But still want the benefits. I’ve loved my product so much that I ended up getting the super saturated one that is in a blue bottle and I’m so excited to try it. I’ve heard such wonderful things about that product being infinitely better than hyaluronic acid. The fact that they’re able to create such effective yet affordable products is a testament to experiment! Branding-wise I have to say I’m really excited about seeing fun, bright colors that are moving away from millennial pink!

  • I was wary of this brand after I ordered the v1 Avant Garde mask -- I saw the brand on TikTok and ordered one of the first drops of the mask and didnt love the fit (or results for my skin). That being said, I recently ordered the 2 topical products and LOVE them. Keep in mind my skin is super dry and I have moderate eczema on my face some days..... Supersaturated is difficult to compare to other products because it really is different, but I'll use it instead of snail mucin for a similar, if not better, effect. Love that the packaging is refillable as well. Buffer jelly is really great product barrier sealant product, but the packaging isn't great because it's difficult to dispense product (even when it's new/full). I much prefer Buffer Jelly to a layer of vaseline bc leaves similar feel on my skin without being greasy (but vaseline is much much cheaper so). If I could buy either/both in bulk or at value pricing, I would. As for branding and aesthetic? yeah they're really leaning into a gen-z futuristic angle and I love it. it's fun and builds community!

  • I love the concept of the Buffer Jelly and so far have had good results giving my skin some extra moisture. I love the slightly odd texture of the product. The fun packaging and science-backed formulations really add to the overall feeling of a solid, thought-out company (as opposed to a quick gimmick). Curious to try more of their products. Only thing that I would change is that I have a hard time getting a smaller amount of product to disperse.

  • The Buffer Jelly gets 6/5 for packaging and fun, and for getting us customers excited to use the product. (Their site is also super fun to scroll.) I find the most benefit when using the Buffer Jelly at night, as it locks in whatever products I've put on my face for the longest stretch of time without as much wear, i.e. being out in the sun and sweating. "Oil-gel" is a good way to describe the consistency, as it's in between: its viscosity is more gel to me, but the feel of the product is oil-like, and that's how it feels after applying it on my skin. That said, it's not overly oily, and it seemingly disappears into my skin fairly quickly. As far as effect, based on personal experience, I've seen the most improvement when using the product consistently at least once a day. For me, I noticed my skin hasn't been as dry in my T-zone, which it sometimes can be in the summer. I'm going to shelf it for now and look forward to using the product throughout the winter months, when I feel it will really help lock in moisture. I'd also be excited to try Super Saturated, and look forward to keeping an eye on this brand to see what else they come out with!

  • I was able to score the Experiment Jelly Buffer as a Thingdrop. I found it to be a great alternative to rubbing Vaseline over my hydrating products. It comes in a gel oil mix and was easy to spread. It was fast absorbing and did not leave my skin feeling sticky. A must if you're into slugging.

  • I tied the buffer jelly as a thingdrop and was really surprised with the hydration it gives. I live in a pretty dry area so its nice to use a moisturizer at night and then lock it in with the buffer jelly. It really helps my skin look glowy and hydrated in the mornings after I use it.

  • Feels great, totally adds that extra bit of moisture. Only complaint, the bottle is a bit hard to precisely squeeze, sometimes too much comes out.

  • This reusable sheet mask was so helpful and my skin care routine. I always hated having to throw away my shit mess because it felt a little wasteful but now that is not the case I just applied a couple drops of my serum and applied the reusable silicone mask, this was a great way to end my spa night.

  • I avidly used the reusable face mask the first week I got it - but haven't picked it up since... haven't pinpointed exactly why, but I do think the way of storing it in the reusable bag it came in might be a reason. It's not something I keep out on my counters so I tend to forget about it.

    Feedback

If there was a different storing option for the mask that's also reusable, like a case or something that I could let the mask dry on after use AND store in afterward, I think I would feel compelled to incorporate it into my routine more often.

  • I tried Super Saturated and it definitely does what it promises - it's really hydrating and protective of the skin barrier. I'm a big skincare junkie and I've never tried a product like this before. Definitely worth trying if you have sensitive or dry skin - it's made a huge difference in the winter!

    Feedback

I did get some sensitivity with this product the first couple of times that I used it but the sensitivity went away with more regular use. Really interesting product and love that you can buy refills directly through their website!

  • I tried the serum. The texture is very sticky and interesting. I have super dry skin and was hoping the high glycerin concentration would do a lot but I don’t feel like it greatly surpassed other hydrating serums. I still liked it a lot though!

    Feedback

Packaging is a bit bulky, but cool looking!

  • I nabbed one of these reusable face masks in a Thingdrop. I love sheet masks, but don't love tossing the packaging each time and really wanted to make an effort not to buy them anymore. The stretchy part of the Experiment mask that goes behind your ear is quite comfortable and makes the mask stay on better than a traditional sheet mask would. I found that the mask didn't quite lay against the skin in certain areas - perhaps I need to put more product on next time? After using it, I simply rinsed it off, hung it to dry, and put it back in the pouch it came in for storage. Overall, this scratches the itch for a sheet mask.

  • Very hydrating but feels greasy for a little bit greasy. Would love to try other products from brand

  • The super saturated is a great product on paper and I like the consistency. Unfortunately in the time I’ve been using it my dehydration lines have been pretty visible. (This is in a routine with a basic cleanser, super saturated, a rich moisturizer, and Tret .5 3x a week.) I think I’ll need to incorporate another hydrating step in addition to super saturated.

  • I used the buffer jelly and liked it a lot. I applied to a few dry spots on my face before bed and found I woke up way less dry than usual. I'm not sure if I'll purchase again or if it will end up being a one time thing, but did really like using it!
