Reviews mention

  • Durable denim construction
  • Soft, luxurious cashmere
  • Minimalist, timeless aesthetics
  • Comfortable everyday pants
  • Inconsistent sizing accuracy
  • Boxy, unflattering silhouettes
  • Thin, shrink‑prone cotton tees
  • Narrow, blister‑prone footwear

Everlane proves a reliable source for well-made basics, according to reviews of Everlane, with standouts like Way‑High Jeans, Classic/Cheeky denim, cashmere, alpaca sweaters, and utility/barrel pants that hold up and anchor capsule wardrobes. Reviews also fault inconsistent sizing and boxy, unflattering cuts, variable fabric quality (thin tees, shrinking/pilling), and a drift from earlier simplicity—plus ethics concerns (union-busting) and limited size inclusivity—making the brand hit-or-miss depending on the piece.

  • My shirt started pilling and looking worn out after about a year.

  • Solid basics; but I've found that quality and design (inconsistent cuts, overly slim OR boxy - not flattering either way!) have declined over the years. Jeans are decent - but you get what you pay for. The thickness of the fabric definitely doesn't feel substantial and the inside has gotten scratchy after a couple washes. Previously lived up to its cult-status vibe, but now it feels like the brand has become the new Forever 31+

  • Love Everlane for their high quality, staple pieces. Always scan their website to see what’s new and what’s on sale. They offer a lot of great sales on already reasonably priced items!

  • Quite overpriced for the quality. You can find better fit and designs in the Uniqlo U collection

  • I personally love this brand. While some items are a little expensive for what they are (sourcing etc.) I ultimately enjoy them. They always have great customer service and find their clothes fit me really well. The sizes however are inconsistent. For example, a M t-shirt in grey might be a little different than the black even if it is the same style. Their pants and denim are what I like most! They also have sales a fair amount which makes the items more worth it imo. Also noting that their rain boots were very uncomfortable to me. I liked them initially but then found they were very heavy and didn't move with my foot, causing cramps in my calfs which was weird, so just make sure you're okay with that heavy of a shoe if you buy them.

  • Quality is pretty good, design is not so great. I wish they made more flattering clothes instead of focusing on pure utility. They could also do well to expand their color range beyond the muted tones they generally dabble in.

  • I've tried their day heel. While it looks like the most comfortable shoes to walk around the city, I can barely get around the block. The angle is just weird and the elasticized back also doesn't hold your feet down either.

  • Pros: I like that everything is pretty basic and multifunctional. Cons: I feel like the pricing is all over the place? I think if you wait for sales, it's great. But sometimes things seem wildly overpriced to me.

  • I love the backpack. I think I will have it for life and I have received so many compliments on it.

  • Great quality, great mission! I wear my Everlane tees at least once a week.

  • the perfect everyday outfits/corporate outfits. Everlane is a sustainable, high-quality clothing store. I've bought so many long-lasting pieces from them.

  • love the minimalist staples and the fact you can see the cost breakdown of every product

  • Good quality basics that last forever

Not always the ideal fit but great basics overall

  • I've been an Everlane customer for 4 years already - Mostly in retail but my last order was through their website. Very good classic clothes for everyday wear, the fabrics are very comfortable and seem of great quality (by mistake I put my alpaca sweater in the dryer, and became a kid-size sweater) The only cons would be that it might be too classic - I would love a little bit more audacity to be a recurring customer (collections are a bit too similar year over year for me) Website is great, customer service as well and the delivery is fast

  • It's quite difficult to get the sizing right so as someone who only stayed in the US a year, and is not used to the whole return culture, didn't really sit well with me. I did however buy a winter coat from them -- ended up being a little snug on me but is high quality and kept me warm -- wore it to see the Northern Lights in Norway. My husband and I also went to the SFO boutique and while I didn't enjoy the fit of their pants, my husband ended up buying a linen shirt from them which went into heavy rotation.

  • I use to love Everlane and it was my go-to for basics, but in the past year, it seems I can't place an order without something going wrong. Also, I am always shocked by the inconsistency with their sizing. I have ordered the exact same item in the same size and across colors will have drastically different measurements, or I will reorder an item much later in the same size and it will be different than the first one I got.

Shipping, communication, and return times are super long and sizing definitely needs to get consistent

  • Everlane is definitely one of my go-to clothing shops for basics. Everything is generally high quality and a reasonable price. I'm not a fan of their bras, though. I can't depend on the synthetic ones to stay in place, though they are very comfortable so I keep wearing them. The cotton ones have an uncomfortable band. Their Perform Leggings are one of my favorite products that I continue to use. They strike a nice balance between compression and movement.

    Feedback

A higher focus on comfort for their underwear.

  • My boyfriend likes the skirt on me and thinks it’s cute so yall are getting a major thumbs up from me, the quality of the fabric is always stretchy and looks good on me, so I say it fits true to size for those wondering

  • Clothes are good, sizing is a little weird. I wouldn't purchase from the brand again.
