Reviews mention

  • Durable denim construction
  • Soft, luxurious cashmere
  • Minimalist, timeless aesthetics
  • Comfortable everyday pants
  • Inconsistent sizing accuracy
  • Boxy, unflattering silhouettes
  • Thin, shrink‑prone cotton tees
  • Narrow, blister‑prone footwear

Everlane proves a reliable source for well-made basics, according to reviews of Everlane, with standouts like Way‑High Jeans, Classic/Cheeky denim, cashmere, alpaca sweaters, and utility/barrel pants that hold up and anchor capsule wardrobes. Reviews also fault inconsistent sizing and boxy, unflattering cuts, variable fabric quality (thin tees, shrinking/pilling), and a drift from earlier simplicity—plus ethics concerns (union-busting) and limited size inclusivity—making the brand hit-or-miss depending on the piece.

  • They have some good basics, but generally I think they participate in greenwashing which is an unfortunate trend...

  • I am consistently disappointed in the transparency and sustainability promises from Everlane. I have one light coat that I love, and have gifted a few products to good reviews to family, but hope they can better live up to their claims. Quality/length of product life also varies.

  • Everlane is my go-to brand for basics. High quality products that last and everything is true to size.

  • I used to love Everlane but what happened!? I have a few of their original items when they were smaller and they keep on lasting and lasting but they new stuff is not for me. I have moved on, I have to say for the price the quality is just not there anymore. Sorry Everlane!

  • Great quality basics. Price point is a bit high though.

  • Clothing is fine but I wish they carried longer inseams. The shirts/dresses can be very boxy and unflattering.

  • High quality basics! Their jeans are my favorite right now but I also like their t shirts, they're super soft.

More variety in styles (pants and shirts)

  • I like the mission and the minimal style but the quality was just really poor. I wore my sweater for two days only to discover it already had two small holes in it. Never experienced that with any other brand. Would’ve taken it back and asked for a refund but I live outside of the US and bought it while on vacation.

Improve the quality of the fabrics.

  • Well-made basics! The cuts definitely won't be flattering on every body type (but the reviews are helpful to cut through that).

  • Superlative quality at a reasonable price.

    Feedback

    Broader color ranger perhaps.

  • They make great basics. I live for their oversized buttondown shirts. Pro: - relatively affordable - inclusive sizing - sustainable Con: - have come under fire for certain internal practices - maybe not as transparent as they seem - sizing seems to be not true to size

  • I love Everlane! Who doesn't? They're one of the OG game changers in the fast-fashion space. It was my go-to brand for basics... but in the past few years I noticed a drop in quality. I love the sustainability but I find my self throwing away a lot of their items just after a few uses. So although they are more sustainable at the time of purchase... they become more wasteful overtime and I've never thrown away more products from a brand before than Everlane. The weren't even salvageable to donate which is quite unfortunate.

    Feedback

    Better quality, easier returns/exchanges.

  • I've only shopped for a few specific items but I've been really pleased with them. The cashmere sweaters are great quality and affordable and the jeans hold up really well for the price point. I appreciate their upfront approach and effort to build more sustainable products

  • So incredibly soft and they fit very well

  • I have been buying products are Everlane for a long time and while I do love most items, I have found the quality to be a bit declining lately. Thinner materials for example. I do however love their pants and sweaters! Oh, and their sandals are always a staple. I usually get one pair every summer as the update colors.

  • I think some of their cotton products are comfy and nice but sometimes the styles are boring and the same as every other similar brand

  • Just got my hands on Everlane's The Cotton Bikini, and I am absolutely loving it! 🌿💕 There's something incredibly comforting about slipping into soft, breathable cotton that makes you feel effortlessly at ease all day long. It's the perfect blend of simplicity and style—exactly what I need for my daily rotation. Plus, knowing it's ethically made just adds to its appeal.

  • Everlane jeans are my absolute favorite! The fit is amazing—snug in all the right places without feeling restrictive, and the fabric has just the right amount of stretch for all-day comfort. They’re super flattering and make me feel confident every time I wear them. The quality is top-notch, with sturdy denim that holds its shape after multiple wears and washes. Plus, Everlane’s commitment to ethical practices makes these jeans even better—they look good, feel good, and align with my values. If you’re looking for stylish, sustainable jeans that fit like a dream, Everlane is the way to go. Highly recommend!
