Reviews mention

  • Soothing, eczema-friendly skincare
  • Lightweight, comfortable textures
  • Glossy, non-sticky lip finishes
  • Blendable, natural-looking pigments
  • Glittery, synthetic-looking bronzer
  • Inconsistent mascara performance
  • Cream blush longevity issues
  • Warm-leaning, oxidizing tints

Tower 28 Beauty earns strong reviews for sensitive-skin-friendly formulas that genuinely calm redness and acne—especially the SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray and Barrier Recovery Cream—while everyday makeup standouts like ShineOn Lip Jelly, BeachPlease cream blush, SunnyDays SPF 30 Tinted Sunscreen, and MakeWaves Mascara deliver easy, dewy looks. Reviews also flag weaknesses: some lip gloss scents, Bronzino’s visible glitter, cream blush longevity and sticky texture for some, mascara clumping over time, tinted SPF oxidizing or running warm, packaging breakage, and SOS spray value concerns versus cheaper hypochlorous dupes.

  • i love using the SOS spray after working out and as a refresh throughout the day

  • I love their packaging and the fact that they are certified by the National Eczema Foundation. I have their facial spray and it’s amazing to keep in my bag to freshen up when I’m feeling dry or that I need a refresh. It’s on my list to try more of their products.

  • I have the SOS skincare kit and think the spray and lotion work the best. I use it before workouts for peace of mind. The lotion is great for my dry skin. I’ve tried the blush and it’s very sticky. Not a fan.

  • Their facial mist has saved me while traveling and wearing masks. I tend to break out after long haul flights and this mist helps to avoid that. I feel so much cleaner after spraying and can 100% see the difference after starting to use it. It comes in a travel size too which is really handy. My #1 travel item!

  • Fantastic lip gloss! Not sticky, just slippy and hydrating. Love their choices of colors for blush and lip products - plenty of cool tones, which compliment cool-toned complexions and also make everyone's teeth look brighter/whiter bc of the blue in them.

  • Great brand with the most fun and playful packaging. I absolutely love the cheek highlighter balm and the lip gloss!

  • Their lipsticks are soo good, I've tried 3 shades of lipsticks and it's so pigment, so smooth and didn't make my lip dry although using in hours.

  • Most of Tower28's products don't do it for me at all-- but one of them is holy grail status. If I could give most of the assortment a 1 star I would, and I'd give the tinted SPF 11 stars. I've tried many moisturizers with SPF, tinted sunscreens, you name it-- all of them were meh, or not good enough to use consistently. (Looking at you, Ilia!) This one I have actually worn every day for months-- and reordered several times in different shades depending on the time of year. That's amore, since I'm not usually that loyal to a single cosmetic product. I don't see myself ever stopping using this product and I am literally wearing it now. When I am done, I cut open the tube and wipe out the inside. That's how good it is. If I sound crazy it's because I am crazy for SPF that you actually want to wear.

Skip the cream blush and other cream cosmetics they offer (they don't stay put or offer much color payoff) and go for that tinted SPF magic, baby!

  • I am OBSESSED with the SOS spray. Its a miracle for any kind of skin issue, from chafing to zits. It even cleared up my tinea versicolor, which is *shocking* because Ive tried everything under the sun to get rid of it and the only other thing thats ever worked is a prescription that comes with the risk of liver damage. Total no-brainer. The SOS spray simply just works, and Im a total evangelist for it. Its got great packaging to boot!

  • Amazing products and reasonably priced! Also clean beauty.

    Nothing!

  • I have one of their lip jellies and two of their cream Beach Please blushes/bronzers. I was attracted to the product because they're clean, and after using for the last six months I'm staying with the product because I love them. The consistency of the lip jelly is perfect -- nourishing and moisturizing, light bit of color -- the type of product you can easily put on without a mirror and feel a bit more pulled together. The Beach Please colors are great and the staying power is solid. Easy to blend and very natural.

Would love to see them expand the brand into other hero products!

  • love their hypochlorus acid! however, the price point is kinda high, so i tend to just refill my mini bottle with the e11ement ha from amazon instead.

    Verified purchase

  • The LIP JELLY CLEAR MAKES MY LIPS POP!!! I look like sza when she uses her lip liners whenever I use tower, I want to get another lipstick from the TikTok shop so I’m saving up but it’s hydration, smells good and is amazing

  • Love! I have rosacea and overall redness and I think this really helps. The SOS recovery spray and cream are now my staples. There isn’t a smell, but with sensitive skin I’ve had to basically go fragrance free. The spray is just the best!

  • I've tried quite a few products from this brand and I can say they're mostly hits with some misses. I'll start with my favorite, the SunnyDays SPF foundation. This stuff is amazing! It has such a wide shade range and is a great tinted sunscreen. It plays nicely with other makeup and lasts nicely on my oily skin. I think this could work for a variety of people and a variety of skin types. The ShineOn lip gloss is also great. Really moisturizing and shiny with a variety of gorgeous shades. (I looove the cherry berry shade—so unique!) The blush is also really pretty and blends out really nicely with a stippling brush, a sponge, or even just fingers. It doesn't have the best lasting power though so I have to reapply often throughout the day. I love how glowy and juicy it makes my cheeks look though! The big miss for me is the Bronzino though. It just feels like a thick heavy balm sitting on top of my skin and it just does absolutely nothing for me. It also looks too glittery to be a proper bronzer and I'm never quite sure where to use it on my face. The hinge on the packaging also broke the second time I opened it so it was just a poor user experience all around, definitely not worth the $20. They are famous for their SOS Spray. It is nice, and it works. I love hypochlorous acid (the hero ingredient of the product) but I would avoid because the product is wildly overpriced and you are mostly paying for the pretty packaging. You can find hypochlorous acid spray for half the price elsewhere that works just as well.

  • The tower28 lip gloss is one of my go to glosses. They have a beautiful sheen and there's so many colors to choose from. It's not too heavy or sticky and doesn't have any strong fragrances either.

  • I'm am officially OBSESSED with Tower28! Their products are stunning and wear so well. My favorite is their Chill Lip Gloss, which is super hydrating, lightweight and not sticky.

  • I love Tower 28!!! Their tinted sunscreen foundation + lip gloss are the truth! So supple, moisturizing, and often lasts a long wear time!

Wish it was also available at Ulta! It is often out of stock at most Sephora's around me, but it is worth the wait to get online!

  • I love Tower 28's face spray and bronzer. I think the mascara is overhyped though! It didn't work as well for me even though every influencer seemed to be raving about it. I do appreciate their cleaner ingredients and I've found it all to be really acne-friendly which is a huge bonus!
