Reviews mention

  • Powerful percussive performance
  • Ergonomic triangular design
  • Long-lasting battery life
  • Sleek, travel-friendly mini
  • Noticeably loud operation
  • Occasionally weak battery longevity
  • Heavy, bulky devices
  • Overly intense lowest setting

Therabody earns strong reviews for delivering powerful, ergonomic recovery tools—Theragun and TheraFace notably ease soreness, speed post-workout recovery, and relieve jaw tension—yet the brand draws criticism for loud operation, overly intense lowest settings, bulky/heavy designs, and inconsistent battery longevity. Reviews also flag doubts about certain LED benefits and app utility, plus occasional durability issues and poor support, making Therabody highly effective but not universally comfortable or fuss-free.

  • I love my theragun. It was a gift from my bf and I honestly use it daily. I always hold tension in my back and it's the only way I can find relief on my own. It feels sooo good after a long ski day or a heavy leg day.

  • this is exactly what I need after a long day of exercise, I feel like I can recover much faster with this

  • I wish I could say the cheaper ones on Amazon are as good...but I bought a much cheaper version, and tried my friend's Therabody, and sadly it's just better. The cheaper version makes my whole body shake. Therabody focuses the effort. I'm only giving it 4 stars because of the cost, because I still believe great cheaper ones will be made in time!

  • I have the mini therabody and it works great as a gift or something that you can use in a pinch after a workout or long day at work!

I am really intrigued about the new theraface, but do not think I will ever be trying for the price. There are a lot of cheaper dupes for this brand that I think perform about the same, but that one is a bit unique so may have to wait a bit for alternatives.

  • I LOVE my theragun mini. It works well and a very slick product.

The form factor is a little awkward and you really pay a premium over other products out there.

  • LOVE my theragun it’s the best at releasing my muscles after a hard workout.

  • Love my mini! We all use this regularly and it’s so good we’ve purchased as a gift for many people. The mini is a comfortable shape and size and keeps its charge well. We only ever use level 1 and it is powerfully effective. I definitely don’t use it for too long as I can get lightly bruised if I use more than a couple minutes in the same place. So worth every penny. When I’ve gone to physical therapy they even use them!

  • Overall the Theraface offers a lot of features in one product. Not sure if I really see a ton of results, but I think consistency is also important. It’s a bit bulky, especially compared to similar devices and I wish you could charge the device while it’s in the stand, but otherwise a nice quality product.

  • My chiropractor has one of these. I have the newest version of another brand and I do prefer the one she uses in the office and will be getting one hopefully to try at the office!

  • This has changed my life! The triangular design of Therabody actually makes it so it's comfortable and easy to reach hard spots like the space between your shoulder blades. At first, I thought the weight was a drawback, but then I realized it enabled me to really get into those knots without having to put pressure on those spots myself — the weight does it for me! Definitely worth it!

  • i feel like there are cheaper alternatives that are almost as good, but I have the theragun pro that has lasted me years. I definitely feel looser after using it but still feel a little clumsy using it.

  • I've hurt myself using this. My nerves were messed up for weeks. I think this needs better education over how/where to use it.

  • Innovative products that work well. I have the Theragun mini and love how portable it is.

  • As someone who would like to incorporate a massage into everyday of her life, I wanted to like this but I found the pressure of the vibrations unpleasant and anxiety inducing. I have tried both the theragun and the mini and didn’t experience any notable difference between the two apart from ergonomics.

I know people who have benefitted from the use of their theragun (and that’s to be applauded) but perhaps for some, like me, it’s just an ill suited product. At least for now. I would, however, still say it’s worth a try- just in case.

  • Love my theragun! AMAZING for when I’m sore after a workout. Expensive but worth it if you use it regularly.

  • recently tried this out in store. super similar to the therabody which i think most people are more used to. it's a bit more expensive than other competitors so i can;t say its worth the extra price point

  • I love my Theragun Mini. It fits my needs perfectly - I'm not very diligent about using it right after exercising, but I love using it after a long day sitting at my desk or when I'm sore from a workout the next day. It alleviates shoulder & back pain so well.

  • Use this every night on my legs and my wife will use it on my back. I do her back as well.

  • Theragun is a life saver! It has an excellent pressure points. It fits well and it is comfortable and compact. It is very light. It helps with soreness after working out. It helps reduce stress and helps sleep better.

  • i splurged on the theragun and really enjoyed this product! it is great for helping with sore muscles. the attachments are a little bit hard to change though.
