SmartSweets earns positive reviews for genuinely tasty, low‑sugar takes on nostalgic gummies like Sweet Fish, Peach Rings, Sourmelon Bites, and Red Twists; it satisfies cravings and often avoids “fake” sweetener aftertaste. Reviews also flag real drawbacks: many candies are extremely sticky or tough, flavors can be inconsistent with occasional stevia/allulose aftertaste and GI upset, and portions feel small. Overall, SmartSweets is good if cutting sugar, but texture quirks and formula variability make it a compromise for purists.

Tasty but not worth the money. I like the taste and consistency of the candies, but I don’t see myself buying them because it seems silly to spend that much on something with no function.

Causes GI issues... taste good though!
Just eat regular candy if you're craving it. These are not good.

I love gummies, but don't eat gelatin so I was really happy to find a brand that not only offers a low sugar version but also gummies I can eat. The sour gummies are amazing.
I do love the taste and that they are a healthy alternative to major candy brands but man oh man do these get stuck in your teeth.

It's a nice treat when you're craving that chewiness. I find that there's very little flavor in the gummy to keep on munching. It's something I keep in my bag while I'm on the plane or on a trip.
Great and better choice vs getting the main brands. I’ve tried all the products, my favorite is the sour watermelon. It’s easily accessible and found at Whole Foods, sprouts, target and Kroger.
I know they use natural flavors, and let me tell you, they are absolutely delicious! It's great that you can find them almost anywhere you go. I personally grab mine from either Target or Whole Foods, and they never disappoint!
Honestly, I do not think its a good alternative. The texture is not it. I have a big sweet tooth and tbh i would never choose to eat these as a treat
Yummy and healthy - so lovely to snack on throughout the day when Im running around as a little pick me up! Perfect to throw in your purse and have on the go :)
yum, lots of fiber, great tasting candy, the perfect amount of sweetness

dont think it will taste the same. It does taste very good but its a new taste.
The Sour Melon Bites are excellent. You can taste the quality and the reduction in sugar. It is noticeable and does not lack flavor.

Much more sustainable packaging would be great.
I have a friend who is in the fitness industry and counts macros, etc. I don’t. I truly enjoy candy, however my friend tried introducing me to smart sweets as a less sugar alternative and I am absolutely impressed that I have been purchasing from this company since. I highly recommend, it’s once of those health candies on the markets that actually tastes like real candy.
Sugar makes me feel like garbage. Artificial junk in food makes me feel like garbage. But these treats? Even this sensitive stomach loves it. I think a lot of folks are used to a saccharine-sweet type treat, and that's totally cool! If you don't eat a lot of treats and your taste buds have adjusted, I find a few pieces of these to really hit the spot when a craving hits. They're a fixture in my life.

Don't ever change the gummy worms! I'm so glad they were moved from being a Halloween-only candy to a permanent fixture.
I have to say, for the price they are really not that great unfortunately. If they were similarly priced to other candy then yeah they might be a nice alternative, but I cannot justify spending like $10 on mediocre gummy bears that do kind of taste like artificial sugar. I know this sounds harsh but it’s how I feel :(

Make it more affordable and/or taste less artificial
I've only ever tried the Watermelon gummies, but I was actually so impressed. They didn't seem as overly sweet as regular gummies. One flaw--these gummies are the "sticky" kind. They don't have the gummy, chewy texture that we all attribute to the classic versions.
Smart sweets are a nice healthier alternative to the traditional candy
Feedback
The only issue that I have with smart sweets are the artificial sugars. They are also very sticky.

Generally pretty tasty

The consistency of the chewy-ness isn't always great and sometimes the flavor tastes chemically
one of the first brands to start doing low sugar sweets in this way and now a lot have followed suit. however, the amount of fiber in their products never leaves my stomach feeling too great, and the watermelon gummy ones once were so sticky i could not finish the bag
Idea of the product is amazing don’t get me wrong, but it leaves a bit of an after taste when I’m munching on the rings so I can’t really get into it so often but I’d recommend for little kids! Maybe in a school setting for weight loss
