Reviews mention

  • Convincing nostalgic flavors
  • Lower sugar formulation
  • Gut‑friendly prebiotic blend
  • Attractive, nostalgic branding
  • Occasional stevia aftertaste
  • Inconsistent flavor execution
  • Sometimes low carbonation
  • Potential bloating for some

OLIPOP earns mostly positive reviews for delivering a convincing, lower‑sugar soda experience with gut‑friendly prebiotics and 9g fiber per can; many say it curbs soda cravings and specific flavors like Vintage Cola, Classic Root Beer, Strawberry Vanilla, Classic Grape, Ginger Lemon, Orange Squeeze, and Cream Soda stand out. Reviews also flag weaknesses: some flavors taste overly sweet or artificial with stevia aftertaste, carbonation can feel flat, effects on digestion vary (from helpful regularity to bloating), and flavor hit‑or‑miss consistency means not every “soda‑dupe” lands.

  • YUCK! I'm a diet soda girlie and I have no problem with artificial sweeteners but whatever is in OLIPOP gives the worst aftertaste. I could barely finish my little mini can. That's how yucky it was. I was really wanting to love this but it is just a big NO for me.

  • My favorites are vintage cola, classic grape, and crisp apple! Really hope the prices will come down more bc I'm drinking too much of this stuff. Not sure about health benefits but I just love the way it tastes

  • Just ok… I prefer regular kombucha… nice alternative to bubbly water… some interesting flavors !

  • In total, not every flavor is my favorite. You could try the Strawberry Vanilla and Orange Squeeze, they are quite easier to drink than others. PS: I love the packaging, they are so cutee.

  • My dad is pretty addicted to sugar and as a diabetic he needs to keep his blood sugar even, so that has meant his soda habit is ended. I feel good giving him the occasional olipop though. I’m not happy with some of the beverages out there when they decide to use “alternative” sugars like ERYTHRITOL. There is stevia in olipop, but I have not seen any studies to suggest stevia in the form they are using is dangerous. Especially when consumed occasionally. And my dad loves it. He can have root beer again.

  • Tasted weird and was too sweet. Cousins even drink half of it. Was too sweet. I would rather drink a sparkling water or a kombucha. If you were trying to kick soda, I think it would just leave you unsatisfied.

  • The flavor is great, super cute packaging, it’s just pricy for a drink that doesn’t do much. It’s definitely good as a little mocktail in a wine glass. The orange soda is the best!

  • love the category and their branding/marketing has been best in class

  • I've only had one of their products, the Classic Root Beer, but it was really disappointing. Didn't taste anything like any root beer I know and love. I will say that the branding is really cute though. I really wanted to like it :/

  • I have tried vintage cola and classic root beer. I did not find the sodas to be as carbonated as the original sodas which was kinda nice but I think this contributed to them tasted a little too sweet / a lot of fake flavoring. Overall I love the idea of the brand and the sodas did taste very close to "real" soda.

  • I've tried a few different flavors and all of them have a strong taste of stevia. I personally don't like the taste so these aren't for me. Aside from that, flavor-wise they're pretty good - some are too sweet but still less sweet than traditional soda. They're a great alternative to most soda's but I didn't feel like they were any easier on my stomach than soda.

    Feedback

    Removing/lessening the strong stevia flavor.

  • Had these at a party one time and could say it was pretty smooth going down! Would recommend some more cool flavors !

Refreshing and tasty, just want more variety.

  • I’ve had other probiotic soda’s which are good but don’t fulfill my cravings for the real deal. Olipop is by far the best on the market. 10/10 would recommend, the grape soda is the best but all flavours are amazing. The only type of soda I drink these days.

  • tried: - strawberry vanilla ($2.50) at my local grocery store flavor: 5/5, i find myself craving this after every meal!! it's sweet with a strong strawberry taste and a hint of vanilla. sparkle: 4/5, not as sparkly as other sodas (it's no mcdonalds sprite!), but sparkly enough to satisfy that craving. feeling after: NA, i have a sensitive tummy, but gastrointestinally didn't feel too uncomfortable (although it's fiber filled + sparkling, so if you have sensitive tummy issues note this before you buy!). I have pretty good poops in general, so I can't add to the poop commentary. tips: chill it obvi, and put it in a fancy glass as a lil treat

  • I tried the ginger lemon and it’s very refreshing and good! The ginger flavor was strong with bit spiciness to the taste so maybe a child might not be a fan of this flavor. But I very much enjoyed it. I’d love to try another flavor!

  • Very pleasantly surprised! With only 2g of sugar, the root beer flavor tasted great! Not fake or tasteless. Will repurchase!

  • the cute brand design really stands out in the market ++ great flavors! can't say that i experienced any life-changing effects yet but great to know that this supports digestion!
