Reviews mention

  • Convincing nostalgic flavors
  • Lower sugar formulation
  • Gut‑friendly prebiotic blend
  • Attractive, nostalgic branding
  • Occasional stevia aftertaste
  • Inconsistent flavor execution
  • Sometimes low carbonation
  • Potential bloating for some

OLIPOP earns mostly positive reviews for delivering a convincing, lower‑sugar soda experience with gut‑friendly prebiotics and 9g fiber per can; many say it curbs soda cravings and specific flavors like Vintage Cola, Classic Root Beer, Strawberry Vanilla, Classic Grape, Ginger Lemon, Orange Squeeze, and Cream Soda stand out. Reviews also flag weaknesses: some flavors taste overly sweet or artificial with stevia aftertaste, carbonation can feel flat, effects on digestion vary (from helpful regularity to bloating), and flavor hit‑or‑miss consistency means not every “soda‑dupe” lands.

  • I have to say I haven’t tried it myself but I’ve been to dinner with more people than I can count that bought this and really liked it - from friends in their 20s to my dad in his 60s. I think the fun packaging just makes them excited and then the taste just is a good bonus!

  • I have been seeing Olipop everywhere for a while, but I am hesitant to spend money on any drinks since I am pretty notorious for being picky about them. But finally, I got the chance to try two flavors, Tropical Punch and Classic Grape. First I tried the tropical punch since growing up I was obsessed with the Fruit Punch flavor of Capri Sun. Sadly, this tasted nothing like that, and I could only take a few sips before giving up. The flavor was just not appealing to me at all. Then I tried the Classic Grape flavor. This one was a lot better. It tasted like most things that have an artificial grape flavor, but thankfully this was not too strong. This is still something that will likely take days to finish since carbonated beverages are usually too powerful for me to finish in one go. But I'm glad I somewhat liked at least one flavor out of the two. I'm hoping to eventually try Strawberry Vanilla and Vintage Cola, as those two seem to be the most up my alley.

Maybe a less carbonated version could be created.

  • I love that there has been a better-for-you revolution! As someone who is always looking for a better bang for my calorie buck, this fits the bill. It's really yummy and really kills that soda pop craving without giving me the sugar high.

    Feedback

The sugars are still a little high for me to have on the regular. It's also super pricey.

  • Really cute packaging and good flavor options, but doesn’t actually taste like the sodas it’s trying to be. Tastes more like flavored seltzer which is fine, but the advertising is confusing.

    Feedback

Either make it more soda-like or advertise it less like a soda.

  • Love Olipop! It's my favorite drink- healthy and great for the gut! highly recommend to try it out.

  • First of this is not your ordinary soda, the ingredient is amazing and way healthier than regular soda like Coke or Pepsi. But the taste tasted just like Soda. So for those soda addicts, this drink is the best healthy alternative to drink.

Find a way to remove "Stevia" and use a better sweetener. Stevia is an okay sweetener but not the best. There are better and healthy options out there.

  • The flavors are overly sweet for my taste, but maybe they are good for kids.

  • Depending on the flavor, I think it's a great alternative from your big box brands. Grape is a solid flavor! But after a while, the flavor gets too medicine-y... can't really explain, but it gets harder to drink towards the end. I don't usually finish a whole can.

  • Love the classic root beer but didn't enjoy the other flavors as much (tried the vintage cola & cherry vanilla a few times to see if it would match the root beer). Will try other flavors but so far have only really enjoyed the root beer.

  • After much testing (any time it is on sale at the grocery store), I have determined that Olipop is the superior probiotic pop. The flavors range from your classic fountain drinks like vintage cola and root beer, to more online flavors like ginger lemon and banana cream (one I have not ventured to taste). Tropical Punch is my favorite, and I like that some flavors are caffeinated and some not. It definitely has some of that weird stevia taste to it, but in a very manageable way. -1 point for being a wee bit expensive and not available at my Costco lol

  • Flavors were creative, the fiber was a nice touch, but that's about where my positive comments end . Really disliked the stevia aftertaste, didn't think the flavors were very good either.

  • Vintage Cola is my favorite flavor of Olopop because it is a healthier alternative to other colas. The gut benefits are a great incentive to an already delicious drink. I hope they come out with new flavors soon, especially alternatives to other popular sodas.

  • I love olipops, they come out with the best flavors. My favorite is cherry vanilla, ginger ale and orange squeeze. The seasonal flavors are always so delicious too. I like having these as an afternoon pick me up when I'm craving something refreshing and light without caffeine or sugar.

  • I have tried a few flavors of these and they always make me bloat. The flavors are innovative but too sweet for me. I would work on whatever makes these bloatey (inulin?), and have one that is less sweet and more tangy. They are also not really fizzy compare to other sodas

  • Love it! I've tried a few of their flavors and really like them :) Sweet but not to sweet like some of their competitors. I like the ingredients as well!

  • Really no complaints - flavors are super tasty, without the cloying sweetness of a traditional sugar-free soda. I mostly use these in mixed mocktails/cocktails, but the flavors definitely stand on their own. I've tried several different flavors and haven't been disappointed by any of them. I can't say I've noticed a difference in gut health, but as a healthier/lower sugar soda substitute I think they definitely hit the mark.

  • LOVE OLIPOP! I buy probably 20-30 a week and we go through it like water. The taste is excellent and not overly sweet. I haven't had regular soda in years and so this is perfect to make dinner a bit more fun without the guilt. Hard to say if it's improved by "gut health" but anecdotally I think digestion has improved although who knows maybe it's a placebo effect. One of my favorite brands for sure

  • not every flavor is for me, and some I feel like some people are lying that they like the taste (lol) but it is worth your curiosity. it serves same purpose as the other popular brand poppi, but a twist on different flavors.

  • Classic Root Beer is my go-to. Always a happy customer as olipop quenches my craving for a soda and never feel the ick that I usually get from a typical soda. Bonus - who doesn't want an indulgent way to better our gut health!
