Moon Juice earns mixed reviews: devotees praise Magnesi-om, Super You, and Super Hair for tangible sleep, mood, and hair-strength benefits, while detractors report negligible effects and off-putting flavors in powders like Sex Dust and Cosmic Cocoa. Reviews highlight elevated formulas, chic packaging, and effective skincare such as Acid Potion and Plump Jelly, but note inconsistent results, unpleasant taste/texture, occasional GI effects, large capsules, and concerns about hype and value.

  • I've been putting Moon Juice's Cacao powder in my smoothies most days and loving it. The flavor is great, and I have noticed I'm more focused on the days I use it. I got SuperYou a few months back as well. I mean who doesn't want the promised benefits of improved "mood, focus, and energy." I was like, 'Ok, sign me up!!'. The packaging is beautiful. I usually hate having clutter on my counters, but I can't help but want to leave Moon Juice's products out in everyone's direct line of sight so they know I'm a cool, wellness girl.

A few things to note here. While SuperYou is a capsule, the flavoring is not the most pleasant. I also think it's a bit pricey, especially considering you need to take the supplement for a couple months to actually see benefits, but that's just the name of the game.

  • tried several products from moon juice but not see the claimed benefits neither do I like the price point

  • You know, none of the powders taste good despite what reviews say. Often times people will say it tastes like chocolate milk but I am convinced many people have not tasted chocolate milk for a long while. I’ve tried nearly all the powders when Chantal and Moon Juice was all the rage in 2015. In retrospect, I’m glad it kicked off a health kick for me. But the products are grossly expensive and you can grind up some magnesium for a cheaper cost

  • Their acid potion is the best acid exfoliator I've tried. Magnesi-om is okay, but can't drink too much of it or it gives the runs. Looking forward to trying the other things in the line. But acid potion. Best!

  • I've been drinking the hot chocolate in the evenings or putting a scoop in my coffee in the mornings and I like it. The flavor is good, a little earthy. I'm not sure I'm seeing any of the benefits but it's still worth it to me to have a fun drink.

People swear by the brand, but I think most of it has to do with hype and the solid team behind it. You can get the same product for much less from other brands.

  • My three star rating isn't based on the efficiency of this product but rather the unfortunate effects that accompanied its usage. I was DELIGHTED and THRILLED to see what my Super Hair supplements did to my hair in just a month's time. It's such a cost effective alternative to Nutrafol and I needed something to boost my confidence. IT WORKED! I was (& still am) so sad to have to discontinue, but the biggest con, cystic acne outweighed the many pros. I'm a skin-picker, and I warn any others within this category to avoid ahead of time. I ended up having to get two steroid injections in my chin -- the pills made my hormones go a bit crazy. If you have perfect skin and haven't had concerns in the past, it's 100% worth the shot. It just wasn't for me.

  • One of my favorite brands. I cannot say enough about the Super You and Super Hair supplements. I saw a HUGE difference when taking super hair. The amount of hair I lost when brushing decreased drastically. I only recently stopped because I started taking a prenatal and my hair is shedding more again, so I can definitely attest to the fact that it does work. Another fav is the cosmic cocoa. I make it with oat milk and a little honey and it tastes so good. As far as skincare, I have re-purchased the plump jelly numerous times. It makes my skin feel so hydrated and bouncy.

  • I've tried a variety of Moon Juice products, from their Super Hair supplements to the "Sex Dust". I didn't really notice any difference when I used the supplements, but it did get me more interested in Ashwagandha, and I now take an Ashwagandha supplement that has a higher amount in it than Moon Juice products. I've noticed a huge difference, so I do appreciate the ingredients in Moon Juice capsules, but they just don't work for me. With the Sex Dust, I didn't notice any difference in how I felt, and the taste is a bit difficult to mask. It is best added to a hot chocolate that is very chocolate-y. Overall, I'd be willing the try another Moon Juice product if it was on sale or offered to me, but I wouldn't go purchase anything from Moon Juice I've already tried.

  • Love the protein powder. Works great and is energizing. Sustainable packaging too and lasts a long time.

  • I'm a sucker for their products. I love the Cosmic Cocoa in particular :) I'm not entirely sure what impact the different dusts have, but I have fun making different potions with them.

    They're definitely pricey.

  • I am SUCH a sucker for stuff like this. And will probably continue to buy powders that I am completely clueless about... With that said, I have no clue if Moon Juice does anything. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't? If you love stuff like this, just get it because it's fun to pretend the potions we make will cure us of everything. However, if you're at all skeptical, don't bother.

  • Love love love the mini dew. I’ve tried so many electrolyte mixes and this is hands down my fave. Mixes well, good flavor and I like its mineral balance.

  • I had the chocolate aphrodisiac version - it was delicious — not sweet. Warm spices with cacao. Nice with warm oatmilk before bed and after a chilly dog walk

  • Seriously felt like I spent tons of money to drink this and have a bad taste in my mouth for the next hour. I didn't feel or see a difference in my body or mind and kind of thought its juju and just a placebo. nothing really remarkable to say about moon juice

  • I’ve tried the super hair, which has been incredible, and the plump jelly, which is also amazing. Both worked immediately for me, it seemed.

  • I tried the Cosmic Cream moisturizer and thought it was a great product. It hydrated, moisturized and plumped my skin. It has a nice creamy texture and did not make my skin oily.

  • I've used their Acid Tonic and love it! It does have a slight burn - and smells a bit mushroomy, obvi - but holy S*** does it work! I can see a difference in the texture, clarity and tone of my skin in just a couple of weeks!
