Liquid I.V. earns strong reviews for fast, noticeable hydration—especially after workouts, travel, heat, and hangovers—while convenient single-serve packets and broad flavor variety (Lemon Lime, Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Watermelon, Golden Cherry) stand out. However, many reviews flag overly sweet, sometimes salty flavors, a “thick” mouthfeel, undissolved grit, and high sugar/sodium; some prefer diluting with more water or the newer sugar‑free line, and a few question ingredient “cleanliness” or effectiveness versus competitors.

THERE'S A SUGAR-FREE VERSION NOW, Y'ALL! I agree with everyone else that the old version had WAY too much sugar to be useful. The new sugar free version is fantastic. Go getchu some!
Liquid I.V. has become the "post bar hack" for my friends and I. I do like the flavors but it always makes my stomach hurt. I'm sure its do to the sugar content in the original formula. I was excited to see that they have a sugar free option now and looking forward to giving that a try.
It’s super popular, I’m glad electrolytes are in the market. It’s good but it does use lot of sugar. I wish it was just focused on salt.
I'm not really a fan of this product because it contains sugar. While I understand that many people enjoy it, I believe that if you're aiming for electrolytes and hydration, opting for salt would be a better choice than sugar.

Super sweet, and high calorie. The flavor is very artificial. Better options out there.

I take Liquid IV occasionally and have noticed a difference especially if I am in hot weather for a long period of time or if I am just feeling very dehydrated. The lemon lime flavor is pretty good / refreshing and the tiny sleeve make it easy to take on the go.
Oh my God. This stuff! Honestly, has gotten me through so many illnesses (including COVID!). Some of the flavors are hit or miss, but they generally are pretty solid. I do wish they sold a mix bag of flavors.
I received a free trial of three flavors from I.v liquid. From me two flavors where good and easy to digest. The one flavor, for me you mostly taste the salt in the powder, I wish for that powder, the salt was lighter and maybe put a little sweeter in it. The packet is easy for on the go and doesn’t make a mess when putting the powder into a water bottle.
Feedback
The only feedback I have is the one flavor is too salty, that I couldn’t drink it and that one had a little aftertaste.
I really enjoy these and buy them from Costco. I cannot justify purchasing them from any retailer as the price is pretty steep for what it is. I recently tried apple yuzu. the taste is great but it does not really give me energy as it’s marketed.

The caffeine levels could be higher and with less sugar. Overall I do feel a bit more hydrated than drinking water and it’s pretty convenient to carry with you.
love these for extra hydration after a workout or late night, lemon-lime & matcha are delicious
I DONT usually like adding things to my water, but when soul cycle added this delicious packet to the stand, I tried it one day and I have to say, I was impressed. I really like that it isn’t too thick and dissolved fast into the water. The flavor is there too

I would prefer just a bit more sweetness and less salt, but other than that, it’s good.
Gosh, I have to say I didn't believe the hype about this stuff. I had friends that would chug Liquid IV down like there's no tomorrow before a night out. So, call me curious when I woke up hungover and they were all... fine? Okay, time to put this one to the test. And so, you'd believe my surprise when in the next instance, I also woke up... just fine. Aside from the obvious hangover remedy though, it's a great sports drink and it encourages me to drink more water. I'm a fan all around.
My friends use this before or after a night of drinking, tbh. I’ll admit it works to avoid hangovers (or relieve them) but man. That strawberry flavor is disrespectful. The lemon one is digestible though 🍋
I love Liquid I.V. I always try to have them on hand in the apartment for myself and my roommates after an eventful Saturday night out. The electrolytes are such a huge help to getting started with the next day and bonus that they are so delicious.
Do not get the lemon lime flavor oh my god it’s gross. The tangerine flavor is pretty good but tbh I don’t know how effective it actually is. One time I drank it the morning after my friends wedding and threw up in a parking garage an hour later so you tell me.
Fantastic for hang overs!
I honestly don’t like the taste (only have tried two flavors so far but still) but I’d drink dirt water if it helped me prevent migraines as well as liquid IV does.
Feedback
The taste still isn’t great in my opinion.
Super hydrating and had lots of nutrients!
Feedback
It needs a lot of water which can take a while to drink.
The idea of something that would help me become more hydrated is certainly intriguing, while I am someone who drinks water with basically all my meals, I probably am not drinking as much water as I should be. It's a great concept, but in execution is really not for someone like me. I have tried Liquid I.V. I believe on two occasions now, thankfully both through free samples, and both times I could not stand the taste. It basically tastes like a diluted form of whatever the flavor is supposed to be (such as watermelon or lemon-lime), and I find it kind of gross. I could sadly only finish a few sips before tossing my drink, and I felt it was a waste of perfectly good-tasting water.
Feedback
Maybe make stronger-tasting flavors so it doesn't taste diluted.
it's fine i mean good for hangovers but the sugar content is way too high for my liking and they are expensive in my humble opinion!
