  • Dermatologist-recommended, sensitive-skin formulations
  • Effective acne-fighting effaclar treatments

  • Soothing, reparative cicaplast balms
  • Sunscreen shine and white cast
  • Occasional heavy, occlusive textures

La Roche-Posay earns strong reviews as effective, dermatologist-trusted care for sensitive and acne‑prone skin, with standouts like Effaclar Duo, Toleriane cleansers/moisturizers, Cicaplast B5, and Anthelios sunscreens delivering clearer, calmer, well‑hydrated skin. Reviews also flag drawbacks: some sunscreens leave shine or a temporary white cast, certain formulas feel heavy or cause breakouts, occasional noticeable fragrance, and mixed results for rosacea.

  • Their toner effectively helpes me get rid of blackheads and pimples. Highly Recommended.

  • Really great customer experience + high quality products would definitely recommend.

  • I've gotten a few of these products as samples or in monthly subscription boxes, and have liked them so much I paid for the full size. The quality of ingredients makes the price point worth it.

  • La Roche-Posay is an absolute game-changer! Their products are incredibly gentle yet highly effective, making them perfect for sensitive skin. I’ve seen noticeable improvements in my skin’s texture and overall health since I started using their products. The formulations are clean, and they never irritate my skin. Whether it's their sunscreen, moisturizers, or serums, everything feels like a treat for my skin. I highly recommend La Roche-Posay for anyone looking for quality skincare!

  • Their sunscreen is very nice, it goes on smoothly and blends in well, it doesn’t leave an oily feel on your skin. It is easy to remove and wash off after use.

  • I swear by La Roche Posay; double cleansing with the Toleriane hydrating gentle cleanser and the purifying foaming face wash is soothing and refreshing, highly recommend.

  • The moisturizer is so good! It has perfect texture, smooth and lightweight. It’s a little expensive so it’s not something I would get a lot

  • I grew up around these products - this brand was highly recommended by dermatologists & docs I had in the early 2000's - 2010's. They used to be more difficult to purchase, but I noticed they made their way to the CVS/Walgreens type of retail shelves somewhere around 2020. PROS: - From what I can tell, as a non-expert (and based on recommendation), La Roche-Posay's skincare line is made with high-quality formulas. - Pricing has become far more reasonable in recent years - Their cleanser line is great, and not only does a good job at cleaning your face, but also helps get rid of makeup. - Apparently good for sensitive skin (I've never had any reactions, but my skin is generally pretty tame). CONS: - Unscented, if you dig stuff that smells nice. - The bottles are kinda difficult to read because the brand is French, so you have to do some research to figure out which products you want TLDR: Overall, would recommend for folks with sensitive skin. Cleanser line and moisturize line both seem to perform well, and this is a great brand to explore if you prefer fragrance-free stuff.

  • A staple in my skincare cabinet. Their 'Effaclar' range is spot-on, and their Cicaplast Baume has saved my skin with intense hydration on multiple occasions.

  • I love the entire brand and what they have to offer. I find their products to genuinely work, they are a staple in my routine. I specifically use and love the Cicaplast Baume and Purifying Toleriane Foaming Face Wash for Oily Skin. Both products are great value for money and I often find them on sale at CVS or Ulta - So I always stock up when they are! The Cicaplast Baume can occasionally leave my skin feeling a little oily but that's a rare occasion, so generally speaking, I use it every night. The cleanser is safe for AM + PM use.

  • Enjoy anything from this brand. Feels clean and fresh. Plus, it doesn’t irritate my dry, eczema prone skin.

  • I’m 21 and struggle w light acne flare ups, I started using their salicylic acid face and it has been a game changer! I highly recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to use a harsh benzoyl peroxide or is struggling w a little acne!

  • I like the cicaplast b5, but beyond that not really impressed by any of their products. They're ok, they're more luxurious than other products at the drugstore, but I don't think they're more effective than Cerave and they're certainly more expensive.

  • The cicaplast lotion is my favorite. The price is great and it helps my face not peel and be so irritated while using retinol

  • Great quality. Great prices for the sizes. Great lines for sensitive skin. Good formulations. One of the best drugstore brands for sure.

  • Their products work really well, especially on treatment skin. However, it is quite expensive when compared to other products which have the same quality.

  • I use the sunscreen everyday and It’s honestly so good. It hydrates my skin so beautiffuly and also never gives me acne.

  • La Roche-Posay was recommended to me by my dermatologist after a diagnosis of melanoma in my 30’s. It’s become a staple in our house since then for sun and skincare. Their sunscreens are unbeatable and their washes and lotions are incredible as well.

  • The products I've used have been effective and functional. Sure, it's not a luxurious brand but for specific skin conditions like eczema it really works. The Toleriane creamy cleanser didn't work for my skin, it felt a bit filmy and heavy. But the Lipikar is my go-to for eczema and the Anthelios suncare range is all excellent.

  • La Roche-Posay is a skincare brand that truly delivers. Known for its dermatologist-recommended formulations, the products are gentle yet effective, especially for sensitive and acne-prone skin. The Effaclar Duo is a lifesaver for breakouts, and the Toleriane Moisturizer provides soothing hydration without any greasiness. Their sunscreen lineup, like Anthelios, is top-tier—lightweight, non-comedogenic, and protective. If you want reliable, science-backed skincare, La Roche-Posay is hard to beat.
