La Roche-Posay is well-regarded for its effective and gentle products, particularly for sensitive and acne-prone skin. The brand offers a wide range of items like facewash, bodywash, and sunscreen that are praised for their effectiveness, even in extreme weather conditions. However, there are concerns about some products leaving a white cast or exacerbating oiliness. Despite the higher price point compared to other drugstore brands, many find the quality justifies the cost. Disappointingly, there have been reported issues with their customer service and online ordering system.

I like the cicaplast b5, but beyond that not really impressed by any of their products. They're ok, they're more luxurious than other products at the drugstore, but I don't think they're more effective than Cerave and they're certainly more expensive. 

I liked the Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser. It proved to be gentle, but very cleansing and it left my skin glowy.

I’m 21 and struggle w light acne flare ups, I started using their salicylic acid face and it has been a game changer! I highly recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to use a harsh benzoyl peroxide or is struggling w a little acne!

I grew up around these products - this brand was highly recommended by dermatologists & docs I had in the early 2000's - 2010's. They used to be more difficult to purchase, but I noticed they made their way to the CVS/Walgreens type of retail shelves somewhere around 2020. 

PROS: 
- From what I can tell, as a non-expert (and based on recommendation), La Roche-Posay's skincare line is made with high-quality formulas. 
- Pricing has become far more reasonable in recent years
- Their cleanser line is great, and not only does a good job at cleaning your face, but also helps get rid of makeup.
- Apparently good for sensitive skin (I've never had any reactions, but my skin is generally pretty tame). 

CONS:
- Unscented, if you dig stuff that smells nice. 
- The bottles are kinda difficult to read because the brand is French, so you have to do some research to figure out which products you want 

TLDR: Overall, would recommend for folks with sensitive skin. Cleanser line and moisturize line both seem to perform well, and this is a great brand to explore if you prefer fragrance-free stuff. 

Enjoy anything from this brand. Feels clean and fresh. Plus, it doesn’t irritate my dry, eczema prone skin. 

If you're looking for a big step up from drug store but still don't want to wander down the tempting aisles of Sephora/Ulta, La Roche-Posay will be your best friend. It does what many of the other brands/products claim to do at a teeny bit higher of a price point but not comparable to shopping from spots like Sunday Riley. They have all derm-grade and recommended products for a reason and do particularly well with my sensitive skin. 

LRP is my #1 go to. I believe they can address any skin concerns and you just need to figure out which line to use for your concerns. It is so good. 

So far, ive loved what ive tried from this brand. Its easy to find and priced affordably, I often find it on sale at Shoppers in Canada. Im a big fan of the Cicaplast Baume, but I find that for my oily skin its best used as an occasional mask (thick layer, leave it on, wash it off before bed) or as a once in a while heavy moisturizer before bed. I think in the past over-use of this has caused congestion in my skin, so if youre acne prone, use minimally! I recently bought the Ciaplast for Hands and its amazing, it seems like it would be greasy but its a deligtful texture that soaks in quickly, and has been a lifesaver for my dry, east coast winter. I havent tried many other things, so this review is mainly of the Ciaplast line. Chapstick is nice as well!

I’m a 65 year old woman with sensitive skin (rosacea and psoriasis). I’ve been using La Roche-Posay’s Redermic retinol eye serum, Toleriane Purifying Foam Cleanser, Effaclar Clarifying Solution and Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer for about three months now. Each products’ effectiveness is remarkable. I’ve used many skin care products over the decades (both high-end and drug-store brands).  In my opinion, La Roche-Posay products are by far the best on the market. I’m sold.
