La Roche-Posay Reviews

Best of Thingtesting4.6

La Roche-Posay earns strong reviews for reliably effective, dermatologist-style care—especially for sensitive, acne-prone, and eczema-prone skin—highlighting standouts like Toleriane cleansers, Cicaplast Baume B5, Lipikar AP+M, Effaclar treatments, and Anthelios sunscreens. Reviews also flag drawbacks: some formulas feel heavy or filmy, certain sunscreens leave a white cast or mid-day shine, Cicaplast can congest or over-oil acne-prone skin, occasional stinging occurs on very sensitive skin, and a few users dislike fragranced serums.

  • La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5+ is my go-to whenever my skin is angry. It calms irritation fast, absorbs without feeling heavy, and actually works. A true skin barrier hero. I keep a tube everywhere.

  • It’s always a good product to use after a skin treatment or a sunburn, however the consistency can break out many skin types that are more acne-prone. I have combination skin and on dry patches it doesn’t help.

  • This serum feels super lightweight going on and layers easily under other skincare. It spreads smoothly on the skin and doesn’t leave a white cast which is a major plus. However it did give my skin a noticeable shine by midday and felt like it never got fully absorbed. Definitely comfortable for short wear but not my favorite all-day option for those who aren’t a fan of a glowy finish.

  • This under-eye cream has become a part of my daily routine. It's refreshing and I really feel like it's brightened my under-eyes! My only concern is that I found it a little hard to find at pharmacies in France on my most recent trip and I wonder if La Roche-Posay is discontinuing it or something? Or it's just getting stocked less? But I've liked this cream so much I went searching for it at multiple pharmacies! Highly recommend
