Dyson impresses in reviews for delivering powerful, thoughtfully engineered vacuums and hair tools that reduce frizz, speed styling, and handle pet hair and fine dust with ease, yet the brand divides on longevity and practicality. While cordless models like V12/V15 and hair tools such as Airwrap and Airstrait win praise for performance, convenience, and design, critiques cite short battery life on “max,” heavy or fragile components, tricky emptying, inconsistent curls, and difficult repairs or parts sourcing.

  • I can only speak for the blowdryer, but I love it. Absolutely worth the investment.

  • My Dyson vaccum is everything, so many attachments perfect for cleaning all spaces.

  • Anything I've purchased from Dyson has been worth the money. Products have lasted for as long as I've kept them. Especially fan of their air purifiers/fans.

  • We've got one of the wireless vacuum cleaners and I think it's great! It's powerful and easy to use. A bit expensive, though.

  • At first I was extremely happy with my vacuum cleaner, but over time it required more maintenance (and cleaning after every use) and the battery started lasting less and less, to the point where it was useless after little over a year. Would not buy again.

  • I LOVE their cordless Vac , animal vac and hair dryers. I docked one point because as amazing as the products are, the prices can be really over the tops, especially when you add accessories. Customer service is incredible as well.

  • I’ve had two different dysons, a full size vacuum, a stick vacuum, and the hair dryer. We love the rechargeable stick vacuum and use it everyday with two toddlers in the house. It’s powerful, lightweight, and easy to move around. The kids even love using it! The full size vacuum however is so heavy we barely use it and has been relegated to the basement as a construction/renovation vacuum. I will hands down purchase a stick vacuum again. They are expensive but last years and you can find pretty good deals on past models during various annual sales. There’s no need to purchase the latest model. The hair dryer is nice, but I hate that you have to buy the separate airwrap to get the curl tool component; honestly it makes me not want to support the brand because there could easily be a curler attachment for the hair dryer, 3rd party products have come out to fill the gap.

  • Dyson is unbeatable. Yes it’s expensive, but their vacuum products especially are just incredible. I am always amazed by how quickly I’m able to get my tasks done because Dyson products are so thorough.

  • I own both a handheld vaccuum and an airwrap. I bought the vaccum (I think the V11 Animal) in 2018 and it's still as powerful as ever. I don't see it breaking anytime soon and when the time comes to buy another, I will likely re-purchase a dyson. I also don't know what I would do without my airwrap. It was on my wishlist for a long time and I got it as a gift, and I use it daily. I have short hair and don't even use the curling barrels, but I absolutely love the dry brush attachment, hair dryer, and round brush. I think I will always need this in my life. When I travel, i only bring the body and a few attachments and I have a hair dryer and styler all in one.

  • Once you try Dyson, you can't go back. I used to have a hair dryer, vacuum cleaner and a purifier. After selling everything and moving from Canada to Europe, I decided I didn't wanna spend so much money on Dyson and bought cheaper alternatives. 2 weeks later, I went back to the store to get a Dyson hair dryer because I just couldn't use the regular one anymore. Same with vacuum cleaner: Dyson is super quiet compared to the alternatives. Yes, it is pricey but you get high-quality appliances that will last you a long time.

  • I’ve had several over the years and my husband and I bought had a regular size and a stick before moving in together. The sticks just don’t seem to last as well as the full size machines which stinks because I love how close I can get in to corners and such.

  • Is it expensive? Yes. Has tiktok pointed to knockoffs for cheaper? Yes. Does dyson still reign supreme in my heart? Yes. I have their blowdryer and pet vacuum and I just...nothing compares. A great warranty, and the products don't feel cheap - like it FEELS like you're getting what you paid for.

  • not to be dramatic but my dyson changed my life i love it and i know my roommate loves it too!

  • Have been using the Dyson Airdrop & air purifier for years now. Recently upgraded my airdrop to the newest model and the love continues. It definitely took me a while to get used to it, I have wavy to curly hair so it takes a bit of getting used too. But once I did, I never looked back. Definitely recommend a good heat protectant and setting spray for keeping the hairstyle in place for hours, non negotiable for people with frizzy hair. The air purifier too has been a staple, looks beautiful in a corner, does a brilliant job and is not loud at all. Look forward to using the Dyson vacuum cleaner next! Definitely an investment, but lasts a while.

  • High quality of products to your house, worth the money.

  • I have seen varying opinions on Dyson’s products, some great, some not so great. Personally I’ve had a good experience. Both of the Dyson products I have were both purchased from the certified refurbished section of their eBay storefront back in 2019 and still work great.

  • Have tried a few different products - air purifier and hair dryer. High quality and should last a lifetime.

  • Did I ever want to spend that much on a hair dryer? Clearly not. Have I regret spending it? Not a day. It dries my long and thick hair way faster and hopefully in a healthier way. It feels luxurious and I‘ve used mine for years. I tried the Airwrap too but it wasn’t for me. I have no patience and the styles did not last. Probably due to less heat. There’s a reason salon blow dry aren’t done with the Dyson but with higher heat dryer.

  • We have both a corded and cordless vacuum and love both. With seasonal shedding from our dog the corded vacuum is great for longer sessions to get all the fur out of our rugs/couches and the cordless is good for smaller maintenance sessions in between. They are on the pricier side but is worth it when there are sales for them. Only gripe is battery life for the cordless (we have the V8) isn't the best, hence why it's only used for short sessions.
